At the Handa house….

Maan wants to meet Geet alone….

They are left alone to have a chat as per Maan’s wish, in Geet’s room..

Geet is on her mobile giving orders when Maan knocks… .

Geet: andar aao

Maan walks in and she is still on her phone.. .

She signals him to wait a minute….

Maan has kept everyone waiting and this is the first time he is being kept waiting…

Maan takes a look around…

The room itself looks like a huge trash can, with papers flooding the whole place…

Its all about the wedding plans…

Maan wonders if everything is getting out of his hands now…

This girl has taken this too far…. Why not? It’s her wedding….

Geet: aap ko kya baat karna hai? Jaldhi bathao, I don’t have much time to waste

Maan is wasting her time? Wah, kya baat hai? Ye toh Maan ka dialogue hai, yahan sab kuch ulta hi ho raha hai…

Maan: ye sab kya hai?

Geet: ye kaise sawaal hai? Aap ne hi shadhi karna chaha haina? Ab toh aaise react karthe ho, jaise aap ko koi kidnap karke shadhi karwaraha ho

Maan: that’s the bloody truth, no one cared to inform me about anything

Geet: it’s a surprise for you, you should be happy

Maan: at least you should have informed me Geet?

Geet: did you inform me about your Malaysia trip Mr. Khurana? We are even now

Geet has become Mrs.Khurana already….

Maan’s head is spinning…. What have I done to myself?

This is not what Maan expected….

Oh… Mr. Khurana doesn’t know that, in your single life, expectations lead to disappointments…

When you are committed then you should be ready to expect the unexpected, anytime anywhere….

Maan: Geeeeeeet

Geet is not bothered at all…

Geet: what’s your problem now?

Maan: you must understand that it’s not just about you, how could you even think to do everything without MSK’S consent?

Geet: ok ok, I was thinking that you wouldn’t let any of this to happen if you got to know about it earlier

Though Maan doesn’t know much about Geet, Geet has got a very good knowledge about the MSK ….

Maan has to catch up fast so as to stay in the race, else it’s going to be an easy win for Geet…. Haina?

But MSK never likes to lose, that too against some stupid girl with a tiny brain…

Maan: what’s the necessity for all this? I don’t like all this unnecessary hype, this wedding process should have been simpler

Geet: see, I was right about you

Maan: but I hate all this

Geet: what? You hate shadhi?

Maan: yes

Geet: so you were thinking about living together then?

Geet winks….

Maan: Geet, I’m not here to hear your stupid jokes

Geet: thank God you caught that joke, my reputation was at stake otherwise

Maan: I hate the crowd and all the unnecessary drama involved

Geet: Drama? You are right, life is a big stage where we all are actors, like Shakespeare said

Maan: Geet, can’t you be serious for once?

Geet: then I’ll be in the ICU

Maan gets angry and starts to walk off….

Geet runs and stops him …

Geet: sorry, what were you saying?

Maan: I wanted to keep this very personal, with only the families, not this show off , I don’t need all this? Don’t you understand what I’m saying?

Geet: aaise hai toh aap ko koi bhi ladhki shadhi nahi karegi

Maan: what?

Maan kya baat kar raha hai aur ye kya baat kar rahi hai?

Geet is talking nonsense according to Maan… he doesn’t like anyone talking back to him….

It should be just him giving orders and the others accepting it without any questions….

But this is not KC and Geet is not his employee…..

FYI, Geet Handa never listens to anyone, she keeps doing whatever she feels like doing… that’s it…

Geet’s life has always been that simple… be it her decision to become a wedding planner, or her studying abroad, her family has always listened to her and not the other way around…

Babaji ne sahi jodi banaya hai…

Geet: shadhi har ladhki ki zindagi ka sab se bada sapna hotha hai Mr. Khurana, iss ke liye koi bhi ladhki saalon se intezar karti, aur woh kya kya sapne dekhti hai apne shadhi ke

Maan could see those dreams in Geet’s eyes…

Maan: itna kuch karke kya faida hai? Jahan bewafai hoti hai, wahan shadhi sirf ek tamasha ho jaathi

Maan is talking about Annie’s life…

Geet has to agree with him in that matter…

Geet: tamasha hi samjho, ye tamasha hi meri business hai, aur ye shadhi ek bahut badhi marketing platform hai, aap toh business man ho, aap samajhthe honge

Maan: tum iss shadhi ko apne business promotion ke liye use karogi?

Maan is thinking, how could she think about so many things with this wedding?

This wedding itself is going to be a big circus, and she thinks she could make a mockery of the MSK’S reputation in public?

Geet is a totally different breed, Maan is going to have a really tough time ahead handling her, has he made a mistake?

Geet: haan, mere papa mere shadhi ko chodke kissi aur ke shadhi ke liye itna paisa karz karenge kya?

Maan: paise tumme mein detha hoon, koi achcha sa ad karwana

Geet: issko hi ek ad samjho, aap se badhiya model Kahan milega?

Maan ko aaise hi baat ko keechna pasand nahi hai… If he talks with her for some more time he would loose his sanity…. That’s for sure, pretty soon it would happen….

Maan: bekar ke batein se mere time waste mat karo, Jo bhi ho, mujhe isse dhoor rakho

Geet: thank you, aap bahut achche ho

Maan tries to escape before Geet comes up with another topic….

Maan has just stepped out of the room…

Geet: hare Khurana ji, rukho rukho rukho

Maan turns back to look what’s the next danger that is coming up…

Geet comes running towards Maan in high speed…

She almost collides on him…

Luckily for Maan, he had anticipated it already…

Maan catches hold of her and stops her at a safe distance….

Geet: ek minute, aap kuch bhool gaye ho

Maan is confused, now what?

Geet: hare, mera gift

Maan: what gift?

Geet stares him…..

Geet: what gift?

Geet is really mad at Maan now…

How could Maan forget her?

He got so many gifts for Annie and Riya….

Actually Annie sent him a shopping list and Maan got it for them, it was just a delivery from Malaysia….

Geet should have sent her list too, haina?

How would Maan know what she wants?

But poor Maan has no clue about what Geet is talking about… he is still thinking about the wedding, this one looks too scary for even Maan…

Indian weddings are like human psychology, every time you explore you find something new ..

You don’t know everything about the many rituals it even after attending so many weddings…

Poor Maan has attended only one, Annie’s wedding…

Then too he didn’t take note of the rituals for he doesn’t believe in them…

Is there something like gifting ceremony in the wedding?, does the bride and groom exchange gifts?

Maan: tum hi apne pasand ka kuch lelo jab tum mere liye gift lene jaooge

Geet doesn’t understand now….

Geet: app ka gift?

Maan: doesn’t the bride get anything for the groom?

Geet: the groom loots everything from the bride’s family including their daughter, what else you people want?

Geet steps ahead as if to warn Maan….

Maan: I never asked for anything

Geet cools down…. That’s true in a sense…. Even this extravagant shadhi is only Geet’s demand….

This man is not as smart as she thought, haina? She has to be more direct….

Geet: aap Malaysia se mere liye kya laye ho?

Maan: tumhare liye?

Geet: ye kaisa sawal hai? I’m your would be wife

Maan: I didn’t get anything

Maan is sometimes brutally honest, you know…

Geet is a little disappointed even though she knew that she is not going to get anything from Maan….

Geet: it’s OK, aap shadhi ke pehle aagaye na, yahi mere liye bahut badha tofa hai , warna itne sare taiyaari karke mujhe ye shadhi video conferencing mein karna padtha

Maan: what a good idea? Why didn’t you come up with this earlier? It would have saved me from a lot of trouble

Geet stares Maan….

Maan leaves before Geet gets out of control….
