Later that night….

Annie calls Geet…

Geet is always expecting to hear something about her wedding …

Her family won’t tell her anything, it’s up to Annie to update poor Geet…

Geet: halo Annie, good news haina?

Annie: what? Good news toh tum logon ko dena hai

Geet: mein kya karoon?

Annie: tum kuch mat karo, tum bas iss shadhi ko bhool jao

Geet: kya? Tum aaise kaise keh sakti hi Annie?

Annie: meine nahi kaha, Bhai ne hi aaise kaha tha

Geet: how could he? Are you sure?

Annie: haan, waise bhi Bhai aur nahi wait kar sakte

Geet: tumhara matlab?

Annie: hare, hum ne bahut wait karliya hai, hum bhi kissi se kam nahi hai, hum Khuranas hai, samjhi tum?

Geet: tum bhi tumhare bhai ki tarah kyun baat kar rahi ho? Issi liye kehti hoon ki usse dhoor raho, pehle bathao ki kya baat hai

Annie: bhai is going on a business trip

Geet: kahan?

Annie: Malaysia

Geet: tumhare Bhai thoda wait kar sakte toh kitna achcha hoga?

Annie: kyun?

Geet: shadhi hothi toh isse hi apne honeymoon trip bhi bana sakte, two in one

Annie: tum honeymoon ki soch rahi ho?

Geet: waise tumhare Bhai se shadhi karke sirf business trip ki umeed kar sakti hoon mein

Annie: aaisa hai toh Bhai shadhi ki baat hi nahi karte, Bhai tumhe bahut chahte hai

Geet: tumhe kaisa patha?

Annie: I know, he is my brother

Geet: how long will he be staying there?

Annie: he said 15 days

Geet: he is going out for so long and he didn’t even tell me?

Annie: how will he? You people have kept him waiting for too long, he is now angry I think

Geet: what shall we do now?

Annie: I can’t do much, you talk to your family

Geet: but they are keeping mum

Annie: do something before it is too late, else forget my Bhai

Geet: mein tumhare Bhai ko itne assani se nahi chodoongi

Annie: whatever it is you better do it soon

Geet: ok, let me think

Geet thinks that it’s time for her to jump into action….

Next day Maninder is talking to Ranno…

Maninder: tumne kya socha hai?

Ranno: sochne ki kya baat hai? Ye kaise ho sakta? Aap toh jaanthe haina ki Geet toh shadhi ka naam bhi sunne ke liye taiyar nahi hai

Maninder: meine bhi wahi socha tha, lekhin Khurana ji se baat karke mera mann badal gaya , Maan jaisa ladhka milna aajkal bahut mushkil hai

Ranno: woh apne bete ki tareef hi karenge na

Maninder: nahi, woh bhi ye sunke heraan ho gaye, woh kehte hai ki ye Maan ki zindagi ka pehla khwaish hai, aur who Maan ki iss khwaish ko kissi bhi tarah pura karna chahte hai

Ranno: uss ke liye aap hummari Geet ki zindagi qurbani denge

Maninder: mujhe Maan mein koi kami nahi dikhta

Ranno: kyun ki aap andhe ho ji

Maninder: iss bar mein kissi ka bhi nahi sunne wala

Ranno: kya?

Geet: aaise kaise ho sakta? Aap ko toh meri baat ko sunna hi padega, aakhir ye meri zindagi ka mamla hai

Maninder is surprised to see Geet….

Maninder: tumme kab patha chala? Kaise patha chala?

Maninder looks at Dadi in suspicion….

Geet: dadi ko kyun dekhte ho? Hummari Dadi bahut innocent hai, haina Dadi?

Geet looks at Dadi and winks…

Ranno: aap zaroor kuch chupa rahe ho humse

Dadi: mujhe sach mein patha nahi ki ye kya baat kar rahi hai

Geet: mujhe toh Dadi se pehle hi patha chal gaya tha, aap sab se pehle hi mujhe patha tha, aakhir ye meri zindagi hai, mujhe ek Khurana ne bathaya

Maninder: kaise? Toh tum donno milkke ye sab kar rahe ho?

Geet: humne toh bahut pehle hi baat pakki kar li, bas aap logon ki intezar thi, ab mein aur intezar nahi kar sakti, jaldhi shadhi ki tayaariyan shuru kardho, meine toh bahut pehle hi kaam shuru kardhi

Maninder is shocked….

Maninder: kaisa kaam? Maan toh kuch aur hi keh raha tha

Ranno: aap toh kuch nahi jaanthe ho ji, usne aapko ullu banaya hai, aur ye bhi uss ke saath milkke humme dokha de rahi thi, Geet, tummara chakkar kab se chal raha hai?

Geet: kaisa chakkar?

Ranno: ye pyaar ka chakkar

Geet: kaisa pyaar?

Ranno: Bahut ho gaya tummara natak, ye shadhi kabhi nahi ho sakti

Geet: kya? Meine toh Annie ko Haan kardhi, uska dil toot jayegaa, aur Riyaa ka bhi

Ranno: kya? Tumne Maan se baat nahi ki?

Geet: mein kyun unse baat karoongi, woh chahte toh pehle baat karein, haina?

Ranno: hare babaji, iss ladhki ko mein kya karoon?

Maninder: Geet, ye koi tamasha nahi hai, ye bahut serious mamla hai

Geet: wahi toh, meine ek bar haan kardhi toh kardhi, ab mere dil mein sirf Maan hai

Dadi: Geet ne toh apne mann ki baat bathadhi, Ab toh humme hi baat ko aage badana hoga, humme khuranaji se baat karna padega

Ranno: tum log iss pagal ki baat ko seriously lethe ho?

Maninder: maa ne teek kaha hai, Mein Khurana ji ko abhi ye kush kabri detha hoon

Ranno: aap bhi pagal ho gaye ho ji

Maninder: tumne pehle hi bahut kuch kiya hai hummare liye, ab bas tum meri beti ki zindagi se dhoor raho toh achcha hoga

Ranno is helpless… the whole family is against her….

Maninder Handa accepts the proposal, as his daughter, Geet, who has put a lot of conditions for her groom and who kept rejecting every proposal that came for the past one year has agreed for this marriage without any conditions….

Maninder calls Madan…

He can’t talk about the wedding with Maan directly like Maan did, he is the girl’s father and he should be talking to the groom’s father only….

Madan: toh aap ne kush kabri dene ke liye hi call Kiya haina?

Maninder: aap ke bete ko koi na keh sakta hai kya?

Madan: ye hui na baat, mein bahut kush hoon, babaji ka aashirwad se iss naye rishte purane rishte ko teek karein toh bahut achha hoga

Maninder: mera bhi yahi umeed hai

Madan: mein abhi Maan ko iss kush kabri detha hoon

Maninder: aap log iss sukrawar hummare ghar aathe toh Maan aur Geet ek dusre se mil lenge

Madan: Maan toh Malaysia gaya hai

Maninder: kya? Toh hum uske aane ke intezaar karenge?

Madan: uski kya zaroorat hai, aakhir iss ki shruwaat hi Maan ne hi Kiya haina? Usne apna Mann ki baat ko humme bathadhi, ab hum uski khwaish ko pure karenge

Geet is there watching her father in conversation with her sasur ji…

Maninder: toh humme pehle Maan se baat karna chahiye, usko hi ye kush kabri pehle sunne ka haq hai

Geet: kya?

Geet snatches the phone from her father….

Geet: uncle ji, aap aaisa kuch mat Karo, aap ke bete toh mujhse bina kuch bathaye Malaysia chale gaye, ab hum bhi unko bine bathaye Shadi ka kaam shuru kar denge

Madan thinks that this girl is the right competitor for MSK,

Yahi Maan ko kadi takkar de sakti hai, Madan should be proud of his son’s choice…

Madan: haan haan Geet bete, hum aaisa hi karenge, let him come back and know it

Geet: yes uncle, let’s keep it a surprise for Maan

Maninder: Geet, ye tum kaise batein kar rahi ho?

Geet: papa, ye hum Khuranas ke apas ka mamla hai, aap kamakaam pareshan mat ho aur shadhi ka kaam shuru kar do

Maninder: shadhi is not a joke, there’s a lot of work to be done, it’s not like your instant noodles

Geet: papa, you forgot that you are talking to Geet Handa, the wedding planner, I have got all the details ready, shadhi yahi hogi, apne ghar mein, aur ye aaise waise shadhi nahi, Delhi ki sabse badhiya shadhi hogi, isse dekh ke Bollywood ke sare power couples mere paas daudke aayenge unke shadhi planning ke liye

Maninder: Geet, it is easier said than done, how will you manage all this in a short notice?

Geet: papa, you don’t worry, this time I won’t trouble your employees, we are hiring, nearly 100 people, kal interview hai, kal yahan interview hoga, you don’t mistake that your employees are protesting in front of your house

Maninder is speechless…. This girl was troubling him by not accepting to marry all these days, and now the trouble is double after she accepted to get married….

Maninder looks at Geet in aww…. When will this get serious?

Geet: why are you looking at me? Haven’t you seen me before? Go see the Panditji and fix the wedding date

Geet looks serious once in her life…

Maninder is now confident that his daughter can handle a dozen MSK’s at a time but he is not sure about the other way around…

That’s not his problem anyway… that’s Maan’s problem….

Maan likes challenges and here is the best one, and this would be a lifetime challenge…
