Hello, hello! I hope you are all in perfect health and happiness! Since its my pyaari Physics-loving Pay's budday, I thought I'll give her a gift and also start a new venture in writing. This one (or these ones) is (are) going to be written alternatively by Rini (Reminiscence) and myself. We present to you, a series of drabbles with the collective title "When Fire Meets Fire". Without further ado, the first one is here for you! Hope you enjoy reading these, Pay! :**

Drabble #1: Of Old & Wise Monks

"How could she call me that, that insane, demented two-worded phrase? Sanyukta Aggarwal, you are so dead! You changed my name to something so meaningless & vague?" hollered Randhir Singh Shekhawat into the disinterested walls of his classroom. He had to search for her.

Yukta Aggarwal had been up to no good since her engagement with What's-His-Name-Sameer-Mittal. She didn't want to study, she didn't want to be home, she didn't want to be an accepted fianc, she wanted nothing but glass bottles. With intoxicated spirits. The fire of the fighter in her had been doused the moment her left ring finger had been claimed by the one she didn't want.

Sanyukta couldn't accept the enormous reality that her engagement was. She wanted to give her heart away to mechanics, but it seemed as if it didn't want her. The only entities that Sanyukta wanted to speak to and the ones who listened in return were the blades that cut her hands and exquisite-liquid filled glass bottles.

"Oye, Aditi Roy Kapur!" called out Randhir as he saw Sanyukta sprawled over a campus bench.

"That is a funny name, Shekhawat Singh Randhir. I've heard it before but it doesn't sound right!"

"That is because it is female for Aditya Roy Kapur!"

"You think I'm that handsome? Thank you very much, khadoos!"

"See what this bottle has done to you! You were calling me names yesterday! Really bad ones! I'm taking it away once and for all!"

"Such a harsh punishment for changing your name to Rum-Beer! It even sounds similar to your real one! You are a tyrant, Shekhwat!" exclaimed Sanyukta as she giggled like a goose and Randhir looked on bewildered.
