Dingle: First to hit the deck! Does he know it's her worst nightmare? Hm.

Kushipugly: Second Commander! Hubby dear was right! And I like your theory on him locking her up to save her from himself. Interesting!

Sona: Just too taken aback by that chapter that you commented twice??

Indiavizion: The heart of you reaching to her misery!

Sonia: Will the girl learn to shut her mouth ever?

Peepli: Bad move to spit wrath on a flaring beast!

Saga_twilight: Your guess does have a shade here!

Pristineblue: Thankyou dear for appreciating my early decision to update.

Saomom: Missed you real bad! But reading how you'd rescued Kush if you were Lady La had me back in my happy spirits!!

Shas: My guest appearances owed to you!

Vrinda: Hold on! The rest of the chapters may make matters more worse in picturing her!

Bea_rom: Will anyone tell him of her fear of the darkness? Who knows of it in the Castle?

Khusiarnav: Only happy to know I could cheer you up dear! Love how you and the others are making this thread light up with smiles. And Anger management Class had me laughing? Will he fume and roar at whoever comes to train him to calm down?

Music: You got it dear!!*wink*

Darya dear: May the chapters to come clear the anger in your mind a bit...

Bablio: Dear, you are real a happy Comrade of mine and you must know, I always feel happy seeing you at the Inn when I come!

Casker: Cheer up dear! I know what you are feeling.

Medharees: I want to sing seeing the verses. I didn't think you would give us a song on your harp after this update. Surprises! I love them! And goodness, a very deep poem this is. I need some time to decipher its depths, my Arhasian Poetess.

Hatelove: Speechless a sign of Appreciation too?

AngelDream: Poor her, yes.

All Smiles: I was wondering what was wrong in keeping you away. I hope you are well dear for it does seem the Sandy Girl was quite a tantrum-throwing one. And goodness, your pick of my best lines and your thoughts into it and especially that picture. I am humbled! And some of your thoughts are so much of my intentions in the tale's future plot!

Flowers4u: Cheer up dear! Poor Kushi is strong at heart when she needs to be!

Jonashi: The member proud to be part of my circle! Though I do not want you to break your life's schedule to comment for me, I am always happy to see your thoughts and reactions to my chapters, dear! Always.

Leafs: Wow! You guessed which was my favorite picture in that collage! Yes, the "we are one, complete together" one! We're two romantics in the same boat! I am so sorry, I didn't know you could have been affected too. Hope all is fine now.

STB: Glad to see you could visit dear!

Hoopoe: The eye of yours to see beyond a picture created by words! I can only bow to you, lady!

Vidya dear: Your feelings are true where his feelings are concerned.

Crinklez: You too, dear? Great insight on the dungeon! Though I won't say if it is right or wrong.

Keerthi: oops! Me and my cliffhangers! Where ever did I catch the disease from?

Harsh: special smiles from you lighting up my heart! And I like the word "lifeline" for his Kushi.

Shamin: Dungeons and dragons in cartoons? *chuckle* Nice!

Chapter Ninety Eight: Lord Arnav with the Family

"See if you can open it, Akash bitwa," said a troubled Nani.

Lady Anjali looked pale and she kept muttering, 'how could you, Chotey; how could you, Chotey' as she walked to and fro before the door.

Lady Manorama shook her ahead, watching Lady Anjali's state, and said to no one in particular, "This is a very bad thing that Arnav bitwa has done this time. I admit I hate Rags, but to have put a girl of her age in the dungeon..."

Lord Akash and his father tried pulling and pushing the metal door but it refused to budge even an inch. Lord Akash shook his head, "It's hopeless, Dadi. I don't know how he had done it so easily."

"It's the strength he has in his blood and bones," muttered Nani wretchedly and then she saw Lady Lavanya step forwards and bang on the door again, "ASR! Open the door! Please open the door!"

The bangs on the door ceased and all muttering stopped when the door budged and creaked open and all waited with bated breath, their eyes on the door.

Lord Arnav emerged out of the darkness, his shoulder wet, proof of his presence in the dungeon whose ceilings and walls were always dripping from the lake residue, and they waited to see if his hands would drag out Kushi the way he had dragged her in, but to their bafflement, he was alone and as soon as he stepped in, he shut the door with a hard thump.

He made to move through the crowd and head for his bedroom but everyone stopped him.

"Chotey, where is she?" asked a pale Lady Anjali, "Did you hurt her?"

"ASR! Open this door," said Lady Lavanya, standing near the metal door hopefully.

Lord Arnav ignored them all and Lord Manohar stepped forward, his expression firm, "Son, I may not be as strong as you but my wisdom is above yours. What you did is not right. I suggest you open this door and let the girl out."

"No, Mamaji," he said with finality, "I will not let her go. She deserves to remain there and think over what she did."

"What did she do as to deserve the dungeon, Chotey?" asked Nani, pulling his hand.

He drew his hand away and frowned at her, "I permitted Lavanya's presence here because she never insisted on affection and ritualistic relationships from me. And then you had do go force a handmaid into this Castle and make her wash Lavanya's regal beliefs with her village muck!"

"Chotey!" Lady Anjali stepped forward, angrily, "Your actions and words are beyond heartless! I fail to see the human in you."

Lord Arnav's eyes glinted mischievously, "You could have if there had been a human in me."

Everyone was silent as the memory of the struggled nights flashed through their mind.

"Chotey," Nani was calmer in voice now, as she yearned to him, "I know you are angry now. But if you could try and calm down to think what you have done, we could-"

"There is no trying and thinking needed, Nani," said Lord Arnav, "What I did was worthy of her deed. She deserves to be taught a lesson."

"No, you are wrong, bitwa," said Lady Manorama, "This time you crossed the line because, according to me, no one deserves the dungeon."

Lord Arnav growled aloud and all of them stepped away from him. "Stay away from me," he warned, and he looked pointedly at his sister and Lady Lavanya, "All of you."

With one swift move, he made for the stairs, the wildness awakening within him and as soon as he reached the landing, he slipped into his room and shut the door from the world and guilty words outside.

When is the next update? I don't know. Maybe tomorrow morning or maybe....tonight? That is if the Comrades can come to the Inn in the night evading Captain Responsibility and if the InnKeeper will permit us in.

P. S. The next update will be longer than these last few updates. These last few chapters were build up for the coming chapters! Make sure you make it to the Inn and then you can hear the tale first hand from me or you'll have to hear it from the InnKeeper (who is sweet!). And then comes the 100th update! *jumping about in glee*
