NEVER LET YOU GO
Today he was again late from office. Its been years he is working late from office after all he was the only owner of Singhania Group of Companies.
His business has been expanding these years and his work too.
She sat at her house watching at the TV uninterestingly. She was waiting for him tough he dint express any happiness of her waiting and not having her food. As she heard the car draw up in the garage she quickly got up and proceded towards the dinning table to set up their dinner. There were servants to do this but she liked it doing herself.
He came up to the door and the servants took his briefcase and coat. He went up to the room without even noticing her that she was putting up the dining. He came down dressed in his home clothes and sat on the dining table waiting for his food.
He smiled as he saw her opposite to him. They had dinner and both went up their room and slept on their sides. Getting up in the morning Rey used to rush to office having breakfast.
This has been their routine from the past 5 yrs. Since Reys business has been expanding. Kriya was used to this less attention from Rey. It has been 8 yrs since marriage. It was not like this all these 8 yrs. They were all a Lovey-Dovey couple during the first 3 yrs of their marriage. They had a Love Marriage. Rey met her a year ago their marriage and they fell in love tough Rey has been a bit hesitant to marry since he dint believe in these rituals but she convinced him to do so. Last 5 yrs and everything changed. Rey has always been a business person and his expanding business has been an was another reason for their Loveless marriage.
'Their Love was fading' yes this could be said. Its not like they dint talk to each other, they did but it dint had that lovey touch. It was just general talks. She hated it...Yes she did but she could do nothing about it. She knew after he came home he was soo tired that probably he would not even watch a football match. She was just living. It would seem that they were living their lives individually instead of living it together.
Kriya's sisters marriage was on the roll. Her sister Sharon was getting married to Swayam Shekhawat. She had done all the preparations to make her sisters marriage a grand occasion after all Sharon Raiprakash was getting married. Her wedding was just a week away. Kriya was mostly busy in the marriage preparations only. She was soo engrossed that she hadnt even decided till now what should she wear for her wedding. As her wedding date arrived her work load increased.
A day before wedding she decided that she would wear her wedding dress for Sharons special occassion. She had decided to dress up little less than Sharon so that she wouldnt take away the limelight from her. She had told Rey to come before the wedding atleast as he would be busy in some conference video. Yes he was working on the day of his sister-in-laws wedding too but from home. He would be finishing the meeting and would be comming to the wedding.
The wedding day arrived. From the morning she has been busy in the preparations. She came home only to change. She went up to their room, changed into her dress that she decided to wear that was her wedding dress, put up minimal makeup looking elegant.
Rey was busy downstairs in his conference video. As she came downstairs Reys eyes immediately noticed her. He forgot what he was doing he just kept looking at her.
'Hadnt she been the girl he loved and expressed it to her. Hadnt she been the girl he married 8 yrs ago. Hadnt she been the girl he fell in love even more when they married. Hadnt she been the girl who gave him all the happiness in the world.' thought Rey.
'She had grown lean as she was before marriage. He hadnt been looking after her to notice this change. He is loving her less by the way he loved her before marriage. She dint had that glow, that chirpiness, that bubbly expression on her face anymore.' realised Rey.
She was never like this before, when he married she was chirpy but now she has turned gloomy. This made him realise the less time he is giving her. This made him realise that he is soo engrossed in his work that he dint notice these changes in her. He realised the absence of Love in their Life nowadays. He regretted it. He realised his mistake and now he is gonna mend it. He is gonna bring the old Kriya and their love back. The mere scene of Kriya in their wedding attire made him realise this. Now he is gonna mend it.
She came and stood infrount of him looking as beautiful as ever. He was just looking at her as a teenager looking at his crush.
'Beautiful.' was just all he could mumber.
She blushed lightly at his reaction.
"I am going at the venue Rey, come as soon as you finish your meeting." she said and turned arround towards the door.
He just nodded his head in positive. He knew what he was supposed to do at the venue.
He too dressed in his wedding shervani and went to the venue. As soon as Kriya noticed him she was dumbstuck. She dint knew he was going to wear his wedding shervani. She always loved him in that shervani because he always looked stunning everytime he wore it.
The wedding rituals were finished and now Sharons and Swayams family including KriYaansh were at the dining table for dinner. KriYaansh were sitting together. Just as everyone was about to eat Rey stood up and gained everyones attention indicating he wants to speak something.
"Let me first Congratulate my dear Sister-in-law and Swayam for starting a new journey of their life. Remember one thing this is a journey of you both together and not individual journey soo always stand by each other in every case. Most importantly dont let your Love fade as years pass by, always take initiative to keep the Love within your realtionship alive. Dont make a mistake like me." said Rey and looked at Kriya.
As Kriya heard the last line she instantly rose her head to look at him with shock crossing her face.
He knelt down before Kriya taking her hands in his...
"Kriya I am sorry. I couldnt be a very nice husband. I was soo engrossed in my stupid work that I couldnt give you enough time. I was stupid to ignore you. You always tried giving personalised touch to everything and I was soo stupid not to notice that. I am really sorry that I coundnt keep Love alive between us. Kriya I promise you one thing that this wont happen again. I will NEVER LET YOU GO. I cant afford to lose the chirpy Kriya. My Kriya. I Love You and I will always do. Please bring my Kriya back." Rey said almost at the verge of tears. Kriya too was about to cry.
She just nodded her head indicating a yes.
"Promise me you will Love me forever and never let such situation happen again." she said cutely.
Rey couldnt help but smile at her cuteness. He knew he had her back. His old Kriya back.
"Yes I promise you. If I dont do then you can hit me with your sandals." he said making her smile.
"Now that you have given the permission I will surely do so." she said with a smile.
"I will never let that day come Kriya." he said meaning every word.
She just hugged him and he held her tightly against his chest never leaving her. They were brought back to earth by the clapping of the entire family.
"Jiju never leave my dii." said Sharon.
"Ofcourse I wont ever leave her. I cant leave My Wife...oops My Life." Rey said looking at Kriya.
"Soo since you are in your wedding attire lets complete the after wedding rituals too as soon as we reach our home." He wispered to Kriya smirking.
She blushed hard at his request and hid her face in his chest to hide her crimson cheeks. They had each other now not just physically but mentally too. Their Love was not faded it had just gone to take a toll and it was again back to them.
Never let anything come in between your Love. Never let Love fade in a realtionship. Love is the only thing that keeps a Couple together. Always Love your partner and dont forget ti show it.

NEVER LET YOU GO
