PART 3:


Asad's dazed expression changed into a grin as if he achieved a huge task, while Zoya was walking with blush on her cheeks and a shy smile on her lips.

Zoya: (thinking) Allah Miya, whats wrong with u Zoya?!! Why r u smiling like a lovestruck teenager...wait a second, did i said love??? Maybe not love but i cant deny the fact that i SLIGHTLY like him! Who r u kidding Zoya?? If u SLIGHTLY liked him, why would u hug his jacket every night?? Ok so maybe i like him a BIT more...BIT??? U r crazy about him!!!! But how can i like him without even knowing him properly?? Maybe because his eyes r the mirror of his pure soul...

Zoya went home with these thoughts, when she got home, she went directly to her room and caressed Asad's jacket, as if already missing him...

Asad was there grinning like a fool for God knows how long?? But his phone broke his trance, it was Najma.

Najma: (stressed) Bhaijaan, why arent u home yet?!! I'm sure u forgot!!! U said 1 meeting and u took hours!! I bet u r still in ur office and yelling at Prasad!

Asad: (stern) Najma! Calm down please! And i'm not in the office, i'm in the bakery, and i just ordered a cake with the help of...(blushing) a close friend.

Najma: (confused) close friend?? Who?? Arjun Bhaijaan?? (From Pavitra Rishta)

Asad: No! Another one...

Najma: (confused) who's that close friend that i dont know??

Asad was getting exasperated.

Asad: (blurted) Tamatar, u dont know her!

Asad kicked himself in his mind for saying "her" because knowing that Asad never ever looked towards a girl, had a FEMALE CLOSE FRIEND! Now there will be no chances for him to escape the teasing so before she could say anything else, Asad replied and cut the call.

Asad: Tamatar, i gave the order and the cake will be delivered by the evening, Allah Haffiz.

Najma smiled to herself, actually relieved that her Bhaijaan found a girl and that from between the lines she could read that he liked that girl, now the thing was to know who is that girl??

Zoya's sari:



Zoya was looking at herself in the mirror, she didnt know why she was feeling so anxious, so restless, she looked at herself for the umpteenth time in the mirror trying to adjust her sari, wondering if she looked right. Because even though today Zoya is a beautiful girl, she wasnt like that 5 years ago when she was fat, had braces, not to forget the ugly glasses... She always has been mocked because of that, but even though she acted strong in front of them, only God knew how insecure it made her feel! Only God knew how every night she cried to sleep.

Even though, Zoya didnt looked like that anymore, her insecurities on her looks didnt go away...

On top of that, Zoya was wearing black high heels, though she never wore heels but she wore them only because it was her Ammi's gift and to please her, but she was really scared to fall and becoming the laughing interest of everybody at the party, like she used to become years ago...

At 7 pm:

In the hall:

All the arrangements were done, everything was ready and the guests started to come one by one, Asad was still getting ready when Zoya and Zainab arrived to the party, Zoya met her Dilshad Khala, Tamatar and her Dost with a hug, it was nice to see them again and not to forget Rabart who she met with another shayari competition...

Asad's room:

Asad was thinking about Zoya again, not that he forgot her for a second but he was just going around his contacts and what he saw made him grin ear to ear because Zoya registered her number on the name of "Mrs. Zoya Asad Ahmed Khan" it sounded so perfect, so normal, so beautiful... He was missing her, he wanted to talk to her but he was hesitant because it would seem that he is the kind of man who r flirts, playboys,...

Asad had his thumb on the button "Call", but when he decided that he wouldnt call her, unknowingly he pressed it... Asad was panicking and didnt understand what to do, only after the 1st bell went to her phone he thought of disconnecting...

Zoya was talking to Tamatar and Ayaan when she got a call from...(smile curving onto her lips) "Asad" but when she was about to receive it but the call got disconnected. A frown and a pout formed on her face.

Najma and Ayaan were looking at her expressions, at 1st it seem that she was delighted but then from confusion to irritation.

Ayaan&Najma: (smiling) what happened ?? Why r u irritated ??

Zoya smiled and tried to get away from them after telling thzt it was s... Zoya didnt took more than few seconds to call him back. U can immagine his eyes nearly popping, after the 3rd ringing.

Zoya: (smiling) hello?

Asad could tell that her dimples were visible on her face right now.

Asad: (nervous) umm... Hello Zoya!

There was an awkward silence between them but they had butterflies flying into their stomach. After minutes, Zoya asked.

Zoya: yes??

Asad: (nervous) voh...actually Zoya...i...um...voh...u...actually...

Zoya was in awe because she remembered how cute Asad looks when he is nervous, right now all she wanted was to pull his cheeks.

Zoya: Asad??

Asad: yes??

Zoya: (smiling) did u want to ask me something??

Asad: yes! I mean no! I mean i...actually there was my little niece who's 4 took my phone and started to play with it and called on ur number...so it wasnt intentional...

Asad smacked himself mentally for giving such a lame excuse and Zoya was a little disappointed that Asad didnt call her intentionnally.

Zoya: (disappointed) ohh...its ok, i think u should be with ur family right now as its ur parents' anniversary... (Angry) i will talk to u some other time, bye!

Without waiting for him to say something further she hung up, she was fuming, she didnt know why she wanted HIM to call her and that too INTENTIONALLY! Who was she kidding its because she likes him!!

Asad on the other didnt understand what was going on, 1 sec she was talking to him properly and next sec she was getting angry! It means that something he said upset her, he recollected what he said to her then it struck him, he said "IT WASNT INTENTIONAL" was is what upset her?? Of course!! It means maybe she likes me as much as i like her, a grin was appearing on his face with that he sent her a text...

"I miss u Mrs. Khan..."

And decided to finally come down to the party...

Zoya's phone beeped and when she saw from who it was, she was grinning but then remembered their conversation and thought that maybe it was his niece, but then thought to at least open the message, when she opened it her shy smile reappeared and she was getting crimson red while reading it.

After that, she went happily towards her Ammi, who was talking to Dilshad and another young man who looked like in his middle 20's from his back , yes Zoya was facing the back of the man. Zoya started to talk to her Ammi and while talking to her, Asad heard her voice, he thought he was hallucinating, how could Zoya be here?? Not possible... But still he turned around to face her and at the same time she also turned towards the man, and what they saw made them do 3 things:

1) WIDE EYED

2) JAW DROPPED

3) GASPED
