Like necrotic skin shedding to form a new face .

However, you flinch whenever I care too deep,

You pull away when emotions start to seep.

You're my Achilles tendon, — fragile , yet strong ,

The part of me tethered to you all along.

This is not a mere obsession — I've run the scan

A chronic love — my heart's own plan.

Your absence triggers a cardiac deviation

A rhythm thrown off — a silent vibration.
