Shivansh couldn't believe his ears "say it again baby I didn't hear it "

They couldn't make it back on time so they had to stay in a hotel close by . Shivansh asked for a two room booking but Prarthana said they could stay together . It almost turned into a mistake . Prarthana suddenly had her usual nightmare

"Prarthana don't worry it's fine,your Shivansh is here " Shivansh reassuring voice was soothing

She grabbed him closer burying her face in his chest after she had finally calmed down she thanked him but still held him tight . Shivansh surely loved that closeness ,she did too . Heaving a big sigh Prarthana grabbed Shivansh face placing a kiss on his lips before pulling away . He wrapped her waist in his hands before uttering "You started it ,why don't I finish it"

They started kissing and desires erupted she was already beneath Shivansh, he bit her neck lightly, she gasped a bit and held him tighter . They started a sizzling foreplay and had already taken off their first layer of clothes,they were only on underwears . Shivansh phone suddenly rang ,it had to take the fourth ring to get to stop. Agni was calling

Piya was the one who talked instead , she complained to them that Agni have been holding her heart as it was aching, Prarthana told her to calm down and find her medicines in the drawer . As the call ended , Shivansh immediately called the doctor telling him to be at his home .

Prarthana exhales and then looked at Shivansh they stifled in their laughter . They were both equally embarrassed . Shivansh grabbed her hand , she smiled laying her head on his chest

"I love you Shivansh but please let's not cross our limits"

Shivansh nodded

Prarthana and Shivansh took the first flight back to Delhi. They were welcomed happily by Agni and Prarthana gave her some things she got at the beach and even Puri because they went around the place .

Prarthana ran into her home flaunting her left hand, Seema's friends were there Gayu and Piya screamed in joy . The women tried to ridicule Prarthana by saying she will also be left but she gently showed them their place " I know my fiance and he isn't leaving me for anyone and anything, I will make tea for everyone let's celebrate my engagement" she walked away

Wow Seema your daughter have become quite bold , she is a girl and shouldn't..."

Aunt janki if you don't want me to insult you about your daughter who ran away with a criminal, then don't talk about my sister ,oops ! , did I just say it " Gayatri smiled rushing after Prarthana who was in her own world

The other women started looking at janki she angrily left

Some days later , Prarthana was cleaning up Agni's room singing along with Arijit Singh "Tum hi Ho" she suddenly spotted some hidden papers in Agni's closet ; they were medical reports. " Let me know what it's about " her hands started trembling as she saw diagnosed with heart tumor . Gayatri told her just recently of a woman who died of heart tumor that's not her department so she doesn't know the full details . Prarthana quickly called Shivansh

Shivansh was home in a jiffy calling Agni profusely as he held the reports so tightly in his hands , Prarthana also noticed his eyes they had tears

Shiv , calm down grandma should be on her way ok " she patted his back

Agni entered the house surprised to see them before her

Why are you two standing ? Do you want to tell me you have finalised your marriage date ?"

Grandma why is this medical report in your room? " Shivansh voice trembled with emotion

Agni smile sitting " you finally caught me "

Grandma why are you smiling is this a joke . How are you so calm , tell me . How can someone who knows they might die soon be so calm. You are diagnosed with primary cancerous heart tumor and you are not even worried "

Prarthana quickly hold his hand signalling him to calm his voice

Agni strangled in her tears " I am calm because I am already old and surely I will die "

You are just sixty nine grandma , "

Am I ?" Laughs lightly " ok yes I am, but I still can't change my fate "

Prarthana stop Shivansh from talking further sitting beside Agni "my lovely grandma why are you acting tough now , please grandma tell us can't anything be done ?'

That doctor I will kill him the minute I see him , how dare he lie to me ? "

Agni pull Shivansh hand " I wanted him to I didn't want to tell you because I know you would force me to go for the surgery "

Agni nods " you and Prarthana were slow and I know the longing of staying apart would make you both realise your feelings, I had to pull that trick "

Grandma you have been suffering alone for ages and I didn't even get a clue , why hide such a big thing?"

Shivansh I am sorry for hiding the truth but I don't have any regrets . If you had known surely you would have forced me to go for a surgery but would that help " mine is incurable. That's why I decided instead of me to die so early in the operation theatre I can bare this much suffering. The doctor told me it was risky , I couldn't do it . Now I am able to see my grandson happy and loved , I have accomplished my mission in your life Shivansh.

Tears were already flowing down Shivansh cheeks " No grandma don't say that I can't lose you I love you . I wasn't a filial grandson I wasn't now I want to make amends and take care of you"

Agni still strongly reject any surgery

Prarthana sat in Shivansh room he placed his head on her lap

I should have cared for my grandma more , she wants me to live the best life but I don't deserve it, I don't deserve her love . I am a bad grandchild.

The next morning Shivansh was in the doctor's office threatening the doctor

They went home ; Shivansh and Agni had a big disagreement, she still refused the surgery , Shivansh went to his room angry. Prarthana went after him trying to pacify him and cheer him up , she made funny faces but to no avail .

" Prarthana I know you love me but please let me be for now"

Please smile " Prarthana insisted , Shivansh exhaled smiling slightly at her

They had their wedding in a nearby temple , it was small but joyous . Prarthana wore a heavily embroided red lehenga choli . Shivansh made show it was done for only Prarthana, she smiled happily seeing it . He told her since he can't throw her a big wedding yet he should be able toake her look like a queen .Prarthana and Shivansh was hoping Agni would be fine.

Agni was admitted into the hospital and her 70th birthday was celebrated there also . The Parikh's were present. They each got her something

Everyone laughed harder and stood together around Agni for a picture . Shivansh brought out an enlarged picture of him and Prarthana on their wedding with Agni in the middle. Agni exclaimed happily touching the picture.

She wanted to show every patient in each ward her grandchildren

Shivansh and Prarthana head to a mall to get Agni some gifts . They decided on a saree

Grandma loves Georgette saree, she will love mine " Prarthana intentionally said that to lighten the mood

"No mine is better grandma love silk saree and she looks very beautiful in pink "

As they walked in holding their boxes they saw the doctor covering Agni and declaring her dead . Shivansh dropped his box pushing the doctor away

" What are you doing ?"

Her vital have all failed , she is no more Mr Shivansh the tumor reached her valve , we are sorry

Don't you dare cover my grandmother. " Shivansh snapped .Prarthana stood in a daze as the box slowly drop from her hands

Prarthana don't cry , grandma is just sleeping grandma is fine she is fine . Doctor tell grandma to wake up her Prarthana is here . Grandma you promised you would dance at our wedding

Prarthana rushed closer holding Agni's hand it was cold , she fell to the ground crying " grandma, grandma please wake up you are my strength, our strength , grandma my English is now improved grandma please open your eyes "

Shivansh was already talking to himself like he had gone crazy and Prarthana was weeping bitterly she began to lose breath and then fainted . The nurses rushed to her side

"Mrs Prarthana wake up "

Shivansh stared at his grandmother's lifeless body then at Prarthana, he went closer to Prarthana asking her to wake up .

Gayatri was in training when she heard the news , Seema and Piya were already on their way hoping to see Agni before her surgery . They started crying also seeing Agni. It was a sad day for them especially Prarthana and Shivansh

Grandma didn't say goodbye " Prarthana muttered to Gayatri holding her hand "Why did grandma also leave me ?"

The doctor came giving Prarthana a note " she left you both a note , I think this is her goodbye"

Prarthana quickly grabbed the note rushing to find Shivansh, he was nowhere to be found , she called out to him multiple times crying .

Agni's last rites were done , Shivansh was lost to shock while Prarthana tried to stay strong making sure everything went well. She later pulled him to a corner and told him to cry out

" Shivansh please just cry , please you need to now stop holding it in "

He stared at her for a while, " I don't seem to have tears in my eyes Prarthana "
