Strange Dreams

Prarthana wakes up crying alerting Gayatri and Piya switching on the lights uttering breathlessly " Gayu I saw the dreams again"

Sister Prarthana are you alright" Piya said cuddling unto her

Is it the same dream?" Gayatri asked patting her back

Yes it was scary and truly heartbreaking "

For the past thirteen years Prarthana got saved by Gayatri's grandma she has been seeing images they weren't dreams but Infact her memories from the accident, blurred pictures, she would them sometimes

The sisters went back to sleep with Prarthana in the middle

Early the next day , Prarthana had gone to her father's shop. He had a sweet store which everyone around new about, he got quite famous for it . She got a call from Raunak who informed her about a party at his friend's place , he wanted them to go together , she agreed reluctantly

Gayatri helped her prepare for the party before going back to the hospital, she is a medical student and was currently interning in a hospital. She looked very beautiful with her hair done and make up done; just light touches . Seema rolled her eyes "you can dress up for all I care but be back before 9pm"

Prarthana walked in hand in hand with Raunak, he introduced her to his friends as his fiancee she felt awkward because only she wore an arnarkali suit every other people wore party wears (short dresses and the likes) , concerned she asked him "Why didn't you tell me it was this kind of dresses that would be worn?"

Don't worry Prarthana you look beautiful in every cloth and moreover, if I told you I was afraid you won't come please forgive me

It's fine " Raunak move to the bar tender to get them drinks while she admired the pool it was an open party so the moon glittered on the water, a beautiful sight indeed .

Who are you ?, a female voice asked "why would you were such a dress to such a party ?"

The lady got even angrier at Prarthana's innocent response or maybe it was jealousy, Prarthana's beauty did nothing to endear her to the lady's heart infact she felt silently intimidated by her appearance . Unknown to Prarthana she caught the eyes of every man in the party even the ladies

" Is this bracelet mine?" She asked pulling Prarthana's hand towards her almost twisting her wrist

No it's mine, it was given to me" Prarthana took back her hand "

Ok she said glaring Prarthana saw her but tried to lighten up the atmosphere "what's your name are you a model? Or a star?" deep in her she knew the lady wasn't a star

I am Nandini but everyone calls me Vikki so you should too and I am neither of them, can I see your bracelet I like it " Prarthana felt uncomfortable but stayed silent taking off the bracelet

Ok nice, do you like it so much ? Is it precious? " walking towards the pool will you be able to get it if I threw it into this pool?"

Huh! Please don't it's very precious to me " before Prarthana would reach out to her hand she had already realised her palm

Oops ! What have I done now? I am sorry Prarthana don't worry you can buy another one, right?

What are you saying? How could you just throw my bracelet? How will I get it now? She had already started crying

Just get into the water you might see it , I would have if I could swim , but I can't and ... Without letting her finish her sentence Prarthana had already dived in she couldn't swim well but the bracelet was more important, it was a gift from Gayatri's grandma; her life saviour, if she didn't show up who knows what would have happened to Piya and her. It was a gift worth treasuring.

Everyone got alarmed at the loud thud they heard but no one cared to check the situation they just stood around murmuring. Shivansh had been watching everything that happened silently, naturally shouldn't Prarthana slap that scare crow and even push her into the pool to get the bracelet? Why cry instead ? " he thought gazing at the water " should I dive in should I not ? "

Although Shivansh couldn't digest Prarthana's meekness it reminded him of himself when he was younger , his dad married again and that's when his life turned into hell . She almost turned him mute but a friend gave him quite the courage . Now he understood how Piya felt seeing him all stupid and meek then . This made him chuckle a bit, rushing into the pool

Prarthana moved in deeper reaching to the pool's bottom she saw a memory flash through her mind "Have I done this before?"
