Arnav entered the apartment followed by Khushi and sensed a tense atmosphere inside. NK was banging La's bedroom door and pleading her to listen to him. Payal and Aakash were equally confused like Arnav and Khushi.

Arnav broke the silence and asked, "What happened guys? Whats the matter with you NK?"

" Yeah NK what happened? Why are you banging La's door? Did you guys again fought?, Khushi threw all the questions together at NK.

"I don't know guys. La came like a storm, went to her room and locked herself. After sometime NK barged in like a cyclone and started his banging the door game", Payal said in a confused tone.

"NK, u better explain now or you are a dead meat", Aakash said in a No-Non-Sense tone.

NK took a place in the nearby couch and explained them from the beginning.

Flashback...

Ring Ring...

NK- Hey Riya! How are doing?

Riya- I am fine NK. Actually I called you up as you know I am here after 6 years on Rakshabandhan. So want to tie you Rakhi. If you are free then come to Blue Mountain.

NK- Wow Riya! I will be there for my little sis soon.

Riya- Come soon...Love you Bro...Bye!

NK- Love you too sweetheart...be there in the parking of Blue Mountains...See you soon...Bye!

La came to NK's apartment to ask him for lunch but she overheard the "Love you too sweetheart" only. She went to NK and asked him for lunch but NK said he has some important work to deal with. La decided to follow NK but she was little late as NK left earlier for the venue.

When NK reached Blue Mountain , Riya was already waiting for him. They entered the hotel together and after taking their seats Riya tied the Rakhi on NK's hand. NK as a loving brother gifted her a diamond pendant.

La who overheard NK's conversation in his apartment followed NK but missed the Rakhi tying by Riya. She reached the hotel when NK was gifting Riya the pendant. She fumed in anger and went to their table without thinking once.

La- Oh! So she is your important work for whom you have refused my lunch invitation. You lied to me NK? For your dating invitation you refused lunch with me? I haven't expected this from you. Enjoy your date.

Saying this La stormed out of the hotel without even listening to NK or Riya.

NK apologized to Riya for La's behavior and ran after La. La reached the apartment before NK and locked herself in her room.

Flashback ends...

Before anyone can say anything, La came out of her room and hugged NK.

" I am really sorry for my behavior NK, I dnt know what has happened to me that after hearing your conversation I decided to follow you", La said in calm tone.

"Listen to me La. What you are...", NK said but soon interrupted by La.

" Let me speak today NK please. I saw this girl when all of us went for dinner the previous day. That time I felt something strange after seeing you with that girl. Today when I overheard your conversation and followed you , I saw the same girl with you. I don't know whether you guys dating each other or you are in love. I am not giving you a clarification for my behavior but I want you to know why I behaved this way", said La as she faces NK looking directly into his eyes.

La took a long breathe and said, " NK I am not going to give you any long speech. I Love you and I mean it. But I know you have your own priorities. Its not like that you also have to love me or feel for me in return. For few minutes I became selfish but I don't want my feelings to affect our friendship."

Saying this La left the apartment leaving behind a shocked NK, confused Payal and Aakash and smirking Arnav and Khushi.

Later that evening, Arnav came to Khushi's room and saw her sleeping peacefully. He was silently leaving her room when Khushi called him and said, " I am awake Arnav, no need to go back."

Khushi noticed that after long time Arnav was disturbed.

" We already knew about La's feelings , but her sudden confession surprised us. Arnav ,we should go and talk to NK regarding this", Khushi said as she asks Arnav to sit on the bed.

"No Khushi, let them talk and sort the things by themselves", Arnav said while looking out of the window.

"What happened Arnav? Anything wrong? You are sounding lost. Wanna talk?",Khushi asked as she takes his hands in hers.

" Khushi, why confessing your love to someone needs so much effort? Why we always fear of loosing the person whom we love? What if after confession the gal say no? What is wrong when someone loves you unconditionally, and expect atleast minimum portion of love in return? Why all this is so complicated? Why?", Arnav said in one go and left Khushi's room without even waiting for her reply.

Khushi knew that all those questions were for her only her...
