After having their dinner all of them were sitting cracking jokes with each other. But the lovebirds were seemed lost in their own little dream world. This behavior dint go unnoticed by two pair of eyes, Arnav and Khushi. They silently nodded towards each other as if they were promosing to make Payash confess soon.

Next day morning was little different from their usual morning as today Payal and NK went to visit their respective families due to some urgency. So the gals asked the boys to come for the breakfast at their apartment. It was a lazy Sunday. So the gals were sleeping till late morning. On the other hand Aakash was quite restless since the conversation he had with Payal.

Aakash sat on the couch of their apartment holding a red rose. Seeing Aakash lost in his thoughts Arnav walked and sits beside him. He knows this is the right time to speak to him. So he started the conversation casually as he wants Aakash to confess his feelings about Payal.

" Wow! Red rose,its so beautiful, symbol of love", Arnav said as he takes the rose from Aakash. "Yeah its indeed very beautiful, the fresh fragrance makes it more pure", Aakash replied dreamily.

"You know what Aakash, roses always have thorns stacked with them. If you will get afraid thinking of getting hurt by this thorns, then you wont be able to hold the beautiful, purest thing in your hands", Arnav said wishing that Aakash must got the hint why he said those things to him.

Aakash's smile simply faded as he thinks about confessing his feelings to Payal. Few questions haunted in his mind. What if she rejects her love? What if he looses his best friend? What if Payal takes him in a wrong way? His chain of thoughts were interrupted when Arnav puts his hand on Aakash's shoulder.

Taking a long breathe Arnav started initial steps to take the conversation ahead.

"Aakash, see we all were grown up together. We understand each other more than ourself. Is there any thing bothering you? You can share with me Sky ( Arnav calls Aakash Sky during serious moments), may be I can help you out", Arnav said in his No-Nonsense- Tell-Me-The-Truth tone.

Aakash knows his Arnie very well. There is now no way of hiding his feelings from him as Arnav has already find it out. Aakash takes back the rose from Arnav and started to confess his part of story with a dreamy smile.

"Gradually we all started growing up together. As time passed I began getting attached to her mentally and i always felt that i shld protect her against cruel world", said Aakash as he gets up from the couch.

"When we were doing our under graduation that time I realized that I love Payal. Since my childhood I loved only one girl that's Payal", Aakash said as he gazed out of the window.

Turning towards Arnav he asked, " Arnie do you remember the day when I lost the bet to La and she asked me to propose Payal that too in her room at midnight?"

Arnav just nodded as he also gets up and joined Aakash as if he was mentally encouraging his friend to go on and speak his heart out.

" That day I was so happy. I knew that it was only for a bet buy I dunno why it was feeling so right to me. I went to her home along with you. But Uncle came there and you know we cancelled the proposing thing", said Aakash sadly.

"On that very day the fear of loosing Payal came to my mind. What if she rejects my love? What if she only see me as a friend? What if I loose my best friend and the love of my life? These questions were haunted me since that day".

" Aakash you love Payal since childhood.I never saw you this restless. Are you hiding something from me?", Arnav asked Aakash as he held his hand and makes him on the couch again.

"Arnie, yesterday while rehearsing I asked Payal about the qualities she wants in her Prince Charming. Then she suddenly remembered that sudden visit of us and asked me the reason. When I told her the reason I saw various emotions playing on her face at the same time. She was happy to know that I came to propose her and she gets surprised followed confusion and hurt", Aakash sadly said while remembering yesterdays encounter with Payal.

Just then they heard a voice from the door. Khushi who witnessed the confession of his best friend for one of her best friend comes forward and kneels infront of Aakash.

Taking Aakash's hands in hers Khushi said, " Aakash you know both of you are indeed very lucky. Payal will be blessed having you as her life partner. We have seen love for you in her eyes. Just we have to make her realize after her feelings for you".

" But Khushi I don't want to loose her and'", said Aakash but soon interrupted by Khushi. " Aakash you love her no, you have to make her realize that she also loves you and rest leave to us", Khushi said while giving an evil smirk to the boys.

" Khushi what are you planning?", Arnav asked Khushi as he pulled Khushi from the floor and makes her sit between him and Aakash.

"Oh!! Cummon jerks! After two days we are going to organize a Pre Fest in our college. As we all know the theme is traditional",Khushi said dreamily while clapping her hands.

Both the boys were extremely confusedwith Khushi's behaviour.

"Khushi are planning to break the suspense on your next birthday?", Aakash angrily asked as Arnav laughed out loud earning a quick slap from Khushi.

" Are you boys always this much dumbos or there is a special occasion?", Khushi joked as both the boys glared at her.

"Okh lemme make it short and simple. We gals never worn sarees so we don't have any saree in our wardrobe. As the theme is traditional so we all will be wearing sarees. So Aakash you should gift Payal a saree for the Pre- Fest. And at the party we should have a partner so its better you go and ask Payal to come with you as a Couple", Khushi said while fanning herself.

" But Khushi what if she asks why I want to go with her? I mean La and you are also there so why only her", Aakash said while eyeing towards Arnav for help.

" Okh just tell her that I am going with Khushi and NK with La. Then she wont ask any further questions. Problem solved!", Arnav said as he mocks Khushi by fanning himself.

"Cool! Payal is not here today. So lets go and shop for her. You guyz be ready within an hour, I will ask La whether she wants to join us or not. You know nah in Sundays she only loves to sleep", Khushi said while getting up from the couch.

Aakash gets up and hugged Arnav and Khushi. Khushi and Arnav hugged him back.

After one and half hours the trio left for shopping. La didnot joined them as she chose to sleep. After driving half an hour they reached a shopping mall. Arnav parked the car and joined Khushi and Aakash. They entered a branded saree showroom. Aakash and Khushi started to choose the best saree for Payal. Mean while Arnav started to explore the showroom. Just then a girl came to Arnav and said "hello sir its one of the gorgeous collections of our showroom".

Arnav smiled at her and asked her name while a red designer heavy saree caught his attention. "My name is Aarti and the saree you are looking at is one of the exclusive design of ours", said the girl as she brought the red saree to Arnav.

The only thing that comes to his mind was that Khushi will look outstanding gorgeous in this saree. He knows Khushi also don't have any saree to wear at Pre Fest. His heart just want to see Khushi wearing this saree ,walking with him as his partner.

His thoughts were interrupted by Aarti as she said," Red is the colour of love. You know my Bankelaal ji also gifted me a red saree ,as his first ever gift of love for me".

"Aarti please pack this saree and wrap it nicely. It's a special gift to someone very special to me", Arnav said as he smiled at his own words.

After the shopping Arnav, Khushi and Aakash left for their apartment. Here Khushi was planning how to make Payal realize her love for Aakash. On the other hand Arnav was planning to surprise khushi by the red saree, his gift for Khushi.

Little they know that cupid is ready to play his games of love with Arnav and Khushi'
