Chapter 1

It was a bright sunny day and a beautiful girl was draped in a pleasant blue dress. She was not happy and was faking happiness as she is going to get engaged to the richest business magnet of Jodhpur Shaurya Goenka.

Little did she know that he had other plans and she is going to get crushed in a major problem?

But what has destiny in store for her?

She was sitting near the Kaylana lake and lost in her thoughts of her past.

10 years back

Taani and Reyaansh were best friends in living in neighborhood. They both had to attend an engagement ceremony which was in taani's house which was her uncle's engagement. Both of them were equally important in both of their houses.

When little taani saw the engagement ring of her would be aunt

T: mumma, mujhe bhi ring chahiye!

TM: gudiya, aapko bhi milega jab aap bade ho jaogey!

T: nahi mujhe ring abhi chahiye!!!

TM: beta jab aap badey ho jaaogey na tab aapki bhi sagayi hogi and aapko bhi ring milega!

T: par mujhe abhi chahiye!!

Saying so she left that place and was sad in the whole ceremony; our rey noticed this and that evening he followed taani.

Taani went to the lake and sat by the lake watching the sunset. Rey sat beside her and

R: gudiya, kya hua?

T: golu dekho na, mujhe ring chahiye aur koi nahi de rahe hai mujhe!

T: toh ye le,

He put a ring around her ring finger which was made of tiny beads.

T: golu, ye bohot sundar hai,

R: meri mumma ne banaya hai!

T: golu, chacha ne chachi ke haath me ring pehnaya, toh unki sagayi ho gayi, matlab hamari bhi sagayi ho gayi?

R: nahi buddhu sagayi toh tab hoti hai jab tum bhi mujhe ring pehnaoge!

Taani's face fell.

She saw a iron ring near her which is used to link beads in chains. She took the ring and made rey wear it in his ring finger.

T: hamari sagayi ho gayi!

~flash back ends~

Taani saw the ring around her finger and

T: kaha ho tum golu?

Meanwhile

S: hey beautiful!

T: shaurya ji? Aap iss waqt yaha?

S: main apne hone waali biwi se thodi der baithke baat nahi kar saqta kya?

T: ji wo mera matlab wo nahi tha!

S: relax taani! Chalo andhera ho gaya hai tumhaare ghar chod dunga.

T: nahi shaurya ji! Main chali jaungi!

S: come on taani, tumhe mujhpe vishwaas nahi hai?

T: nahi, mera wo matlab nahi tha.

S: toh firr chalo!

They both were walking and taani sat in Shaurya's car. Soon after they reached a distance theyre was a lot of pollution and spray which was released into the air and taani started to cough badly. Shaurya handled her a bottle of water and taani drank it.

Soon she fell asleep in the car as shaurya mixed something in the water. He drove to his outhouse which was in the outskirts of jodhpur and took taani to the bedroom there tying her hands and legs with a rope.

Later when she was conscious, she opened her eyes and saw that she was in an unknown place. Soon shaurya entered there and

S: awww, my beautiful would be wife. Kya karu? Tumne mujhe majboor kar diya, I had to sell you as I couldn't lose such a big amount my friend offered me.

T: kya? Aap mujhe bhej rahe hai? Aap kya bol rahe ho?

S: meri darling ko samajh nahi aaya abhi bhi?

T: please mujhe jaane dijiye, maine aapka kya bigada hai? Please chod dijiye mujhe!

Soon shaurya phone rang and it was his partner Raj

Ra: shaurya, maal ready hai ki nahi?

S: ya, ready hai, bass tum bolo kab aa rahe ho khareedne?

R: wo sab baad me yaar! Hamare singhania industries ke saath jo deal hai na, uske liye RS humse milna chahte hai asap!

S: what?

Ra: haa yaar!!!

S: ghar pet oh renovation hai, ek kaam karo hum outhouse bula lete hai.

Ra: outhouse? Waha uss ladki ka kya karogey?

S: yaar deal baat karne ke liye bula rahe hai na, outhouse thodi dekhega wo!

Ra: okay if you are sure then hum kal lunch ke liye outhouse invite karengey and waha deal ki baat ho jaane ke baad uss ladki ka kaam niptadengey!

S: done!

He went towards taani who was sweating badly and nervously. She literally wanted to die the very moment when she came to know that she has been betrayed and she will be sold as a prostitute!

T: Krishna ji! Ya toh mujhe iss jaanwar se bacha lo ya toh mujhe marne ka raasta dikhao!

S: meri pyaari si fianc ko ek aur din wait karna parega! Uske baad tumhe bohot mazaa aane waala hai!

Saying so shaurya left the place and taani started to cry hard remembering her past.

Flashback

Taani was running in the garden and she was chased by rey. Soon she slipped and fell down and a sharp rock cut her forehead and her wound started to bleed. Rey reached her and tied a handkerchief around her head and she fainted.

She sprinkled some water on her face and both of them headed home. After leaving taani at home he went to his room in his house and started to bang his head strongly to the wall.

He blames himself for taani's wound and he is hurting himself for that, the next day both got their wounds stitched and sat on their beds in the hospital which were adjacent to each other.

Both had feelings for each other when they were just 10 years old but the elders took just as their friendship.

After 2 years when both are 12 years

Rey left Jodhpur to London for his high school studies and higher studies. Rey had to leave not willing to leave and taani cried for almost 1 week after he left. Rey promised himself that he will return and make taani his.

Flash back ends

Taani woke up when strong and sharp sunrays were penetrating into the room. She saw that it was 12 in the noon and she slept for 10 hours. She started weeping silently.

Meanwhile

S: Please come sir! We are honored to have you here!

A handsome hunk entered wearing a 3 piece black suit and saw the whole hall in which they are going to be seated.

Ra: sir, what would you like to take Champagne or wine?

R: no thanks, I don't drink; anything non - alcoholic?

S: sure sir! I will get it!

Rey was feeling something very fishy, how come there is no one in this outhouse? How come no maids or servants even today? When a guest is going to arrive?

He was in his thoughts and he was going to pick a magazine from the table and a glass of wine spilled on his which was neatly arranged in the tray.

Ra: sir, please come with me I will show you the washroom.

R: it okay I will manage. Where is the washroom?

Ra: go straight and take left sir!

When he went to the washroom and coming back he heard a few sobs, he felt strange and thought of opening the door. He opened a found a girl who was weeping bitterly and her hands and legs were tied with ropes.

He was getting pulled to her and reached near her. She lifted her gaze and saw the person in front of her.

T: please mujhe leke mat jayiye, mujhe chorr dijiye! Mujhe ghar jaana hai! Mumma papa mere intezaar kar rahe hongey!

And she started crying even harder when rey noticed the mark of the stitches on her forehead. He was shocked and to his confirmation he checked her left hand. He saw the mole which was near her elbow and then his gaze went to the ring on the ring finger. It was the same ring which was given by him to taani 10 years ago!!!
