Padma was making tea for everyone when Anjali entered with a serious face

anjali-hi mom kya kar rahi hai

anjali-no thanks..aa mom i wanted to ask you something

padma-haan bolo na beta

anjali-apko to pata hai kal Karvachauth hai aur yeh preparations bhi

anjali-pati ka matlab pata hai usey...hamesha se to disappoint hee karti ayi hai Armaan ko..

padma-kya kehna chah rahi ho tum

anjali-Mom..I dont think armaan aur shilpa ke beech kabhi kuch ho sakt ahai..

anjali-aur nai to kya...yeh ladki armaan aur is shaadi ko kabhi accept nahi karne wali..uski wajah se armaan itne saal dur raha taakey usey adjust karne mein koi problem na ho aur ab he is back to she hardly pays him attention...usey to shaadi ka matlab bhi nahi pata hoga phir pati ko kaise samjhegi

padma-anjali..beta har rishtey ko waqt ki zarurat hoti hai aur phir armaan tha hee kahan jo Shilpa usey samajh payegi..dkeho jaise usne humare gharko humsab ko apna liy ahai to usey bhi apna legi have some patience..

anjali-I dont know mom lein jo ladki itna sab kuch ho jane ke baad bhi apne pati ko samajh nahi sakti..uske sacrifice ko value nahi karti..infact ek kamre mein theek hai but ek bed bhi share nahi karna chahti for its all not worth it! main yehi chahti hun ke mera bhai ek normal married life jiye akhir kab tak dusre ke liye jiyega..

The whole conversation was heard by her and a lone tear escaped her eye.She tried to gathe rherself and remember the words:they were harsh but not wrong.All this time armaan,his family tried their best to make her feel comfortable but what abt her?She only took help from them and most importantly now not even giving their son the happiness,the rights which he deserve.She will take this relationship forward at any cost.


At night Shashank was reading a file when Padma thought to discuss this matter with him.

Padma-armaan kal se office join kar raha hai?

shashank-haan akhir kab tak ghar pe baetha rahega...he only suggested to join

padma-yeh bhi sahi hai...kal karvachauth hai apko pata hai na...

padma-shashank aap...aap bachchon ko kahin ghoomne kyun nahi bhej dete hai..unki shaadi ke baad halat kaise thay yeh to pata hee hai na apko..ek dusre ke saath waqt bitayenge to hee samajh payenge

shashank-woh sab to theek hai Padma lekin achanak se is baat ka zikar kyun..kuch kaha armaan ya shilpa ne

padma-kuch baaten aisi bhi hoti hai jo samajhni parti hai...aaj Anjali ki baaten sunke mujhe ehsaas hua hai ke akhir kab tak sab aisa chalta rahega dar lagta hai kahin armaan ki zindagi

shashank-padmaa...itne saal beet gaye aur Shilpa humari bahu se beti ban gayi...jahan tak armaan ki baat hai to he is our son...ussey samajhne ke liye humein kisi au rki zarurat nahi hai..padma arrange marriages mein saalon lag jate hai ek dusre ko samajhne ke liye phir humare bachche ko adjust ho rahe hai dheere dheere...ab armaan laut ay ahai to dekhna all will be fine sooon!

shashank-arey anjali ki baaton pe kyun itna dhyan de rahi ho tum..woh bohot zyada short tempered hai..kuch bhi bol deti hai..jo khud apne pati ko aise treat karti hai woh kya samjhegi ek suljhe huay rishtey ko..try in understand Padma..armaan aur shilpa ka rishta zaroor kamyab hoga trust me atleast


It was 4 in the morning and armaan was sleeping in the couch.Shilpa was tossing on the bed still lost in anjali's words.It struck her that it was time for the sargi and she should go for puja now.

She gt up and changed in a simple salwaar kameez.Before closing he door carefully she glanced at her husband:he looked very uncomfortable in such position and she was to be blamed for this.

Padma was drinking milk when she saw Shilpa and smiled at her.

padma-uth gayi..yeh lo tumhari sargi ready hai..beta u sure tum vrat rakh paogi agar tabiyat kharab ho gayi to..

shilpa-ma..main pehli baar thori rakh rahi hun aap har sal yehii poochti ho..

She was eating fruits now

shilpa-aa ma mujhe apse kuch poochna tha..

shilpa-woh..main..

padma-kya ho gaya..armaan ne phirse kuch

shilpa-arey nahi...woh main kal hospital nahi ja rahi ghar pe hee rahungi aur apke saath puja ki saari tayiyariya karungi

padma-kyun bhai..yahan sab ho jayega fikar mat karo..tum jao aise time ep chutti logi to baad mein dikkat ho jayegi...

shilpa-nahi mom maine baat kar li hai problem nahi hogi pleaseee..kalka din main kuch special karna chahti hun and..I need your help

Padma caressed her head affectionately



Armaan woke up early and saw that Shilpa was still sleeping.

armaan-yeh ab tak so rahi hai..hospital nahi jana kya

He thought to go for a jog first and then get ready as he will be joining office today so he must be on time.

After taking a jog with breezer he came bak and saw Padma,shashank on the breakfast table

armaan-morning dad,mom

shashank-gud morning..so ready for some work?

armaan-yess..main pak gaya hun ghar pe baethe baethe..

shashank-great then see you at office,and dont be late!

armaan-mm mom baki sab kahan hai..aap to aaj kuch nahi khaogi aur anjali vrat rakhne se rahi

padma-haan woh ab tak so rahi hai..atul kuch kaam se bahar gaya hua hai aur

armaan-aurr..apki bahu rani gayi?aaj bohot der tak soyi shayad

padma-bechari ko subha uthna para tha na isliye maine hee kaha so jaye der tak waise bhi aaj ghar pe rahegi

Padma was told by Shilpa not to tell anything to armaan but she cursed her big nouth for blurting it out

armaan-kya aaj usey hospital nahi jana...sab theek to hai?

padma-aaa haan woh main gas pe kuch rakhke ayi hun haan

armaan-ajeeb hai..zaroor vrat ki wajah se bukhar agay hoga

After having breakfast armaan took shower and got ready in his formals.Shilpa woke up in the mean time but he didnt get any chance to ask or say anything to her.

He was trying to fix his tie

armaan-godd..kuch din office kya nahi gaya in sab ki adat hee chali gayi..ab iska kya karun..

He was trying to tie the knot when a pair of soft hands took the charge.He couldnt believe she was standing there in front of him and that also fixing his tie like a typical wife.At first he thought to stop her but then his heart melted at the sight :how he craved for such thing in years,every morning he would experience this and a small kiss or romantic session..but this seems to be abit impossible now..wait why was she here suddenly?not attending hospital and doing all this?

armaan-aaa tum hospital nahi gayi aaj?aur yeh kis liye..I mean its ok mujhe adat hai yeh karne ki

shilpa-pehle kis sawal ka jawab dun?

armaan-haan?

shilpa-tumne do sawaal kiye..aur main pooch rahi hun pehle kis sawaal ka jawaab dun?

After fixing his tie properly she looked at his eyes which were giving her confused yet nervous looks to her

shilpa-main hospital kyun nahi gayi yeh to nahi bata sakti aur rahi baat yeh karne ki..to jab tum kabhi bari se bari baat pe mera saath dene se peeche nahi hat te tabh aise chote mote kaam pe to main tumhari help kar hee sakti hun...

She took his coat and helped him with that also..after which she gave a sweeet smile to him...

shilpa-armaan its high time we need to talk...aaj shaam jaldi aoge na?main tumhara intezaar karungi...byee have a nice day!

She left him in such a state that he couldnt figure out what she meant..

armaan-yeh isey ho kya gaya hai aaj...

The whole Mallik Mansion was decorated with lights and flowers..it was evening time and the guests started coming.

Padma invited her few friends and relatives as she wanted them to see how her son and daughter-in-law are celebrating this function and she does not want them to be in any misconception.

Anjali-mom dad kab tak ayenge uneh pata hai na aaj karvachauth hai?

padma-arey haan baba..woh atey hee honge...time kya hai?armaan ko bhi aaj hee office jana tha...I just hope maine jitni madat kii hai bachchi ki bas woh safal ho jae

This is the first time she was excited and nervous on this day.Every year she used to keep this fast and pray seeing his picture but this time she will pray in front of him...break her fast with his hands..and also try to give him everything what he deserved all these years..but was she all sure about this?she was still confused:is she doing the right thing?

She was wearing a maroon lehenga with the dupatta fixed properly on one side and a maroon set of jewelerry complementing her.Her hands were adorned with mehndi like a new bride and the simple makeup made her look like a divine beauty.

shilpa-I just hope yeh sab armaan ko..pasand aye..Mom ne to kaha ke theek lag rahi hun per yeh..ek kaam karti hun baal khule rakhti hun..nai Mom ne mana kiya hai...yeh phool reh jaye bas...

Her hair was tied in a bun with flower as per Padma's instructions.

Arey chand nikal aya hai chalo chalo sab...

She saw everyone rushing to the terrace and checked the time

shilpa-chand bhi nikal gaya yeh armaan kahan reh gaya...

He got closer to her and sucked the tear from her cheek making her gasp at his touch.Her whole body was not in her control anymore..she was getting restless today as if not able to hold her emotions at the moment.HE caressed her face and then opened the clip revealing her long silky hair.

You failed me today Shilpa..I..I never thought you will think of taking this step...rishta dill se shuru hokar jism tak pohochta hai aur agar dill mein uske liye koi jagah hi na ho to jism pe bhi uska koi huq nahi hota hai...
