Excerpt from Chapter 16
After dipping the cotton cloth in cold water and squeezing it I placed it on his burning forehead.The very next second his eyes were closed in relief.I continued the process for three-four times and then started wiping his face with cold wet cloth.His eyes were still closed in peace.
To cool down his chest too I started unbuttoning his shirt but the next second his eyes popped open.
Taani:"Don't worry I'll not take advantage of your helpless situation"
I said perfectly rolling my eyes.His eyes opened wide on my words and then a faint blush appeared on his cheeks.
"Yeeeshhh...he is blushing"
I thought and smiled but he tried to hide his blush and controlling himself he closed his eyes again.
I opened his shirt buttons fumbling just once or twice.I tried to remove his shirt and he helped me with it by getting up his upper body away from bed.
After discarding his shirt on bed I took the cloth and after dipping it in ice cold water started wiping his chest.His chest was well built.His perfect abs,steel hard chest,board shoulders.Everything was fueling my desire.
It was hard to believe that I was touching his bare chest with my own hands and that too in my full conscious state.
My hands were burning when I was touching him.
"Its just because of fever,Taani.Nothing else"
I chided myself and tried really hard to concentrate on work in hand.But it was just simply impossible.I continued my work in dazed state.
Rey:"Are you trying to seduce me?"
I heard his husky voice and came out from my dazed state.A smirk was playing on his lips but his eyes were closed in pleasure.
"Pleasure?What pleasure?Ahhh...get a grip,Taani"
I snatched my hands away and gave him an angry glare.Though his eyes were closed but I could not help but glare him for my own satisfaction.
Taani:"Stop your chit-chat and sleep"
I said again dipping the cloth in water and wiping his neck and face.
He held my wrist and looked into my eyes.
Rey:"Its not good for you to stay awake till so late.I am feeling much better now.You too, sleep now"
He kept the water bowl and cloth on side table and lied down on bed and closed his eyes.
I sighed and opened the knot of robe which was covering my bare existed night gown.I slid it down from my body all the time keeping my eyes on him.
I discarded it on bed beside his shirt and saw him smiling teasingly at me,eyes still closed.
"Does he have a third eye like Shiv Ji?"
I thought and then smiled over my own silly mind.
Tourning off the lights I lied down beside him.
After few minutes I felt him moving towards me.He rested his head on my bosoms and kept his hand on baby bump.His breathing was even so I knew he was asleep.
I gave a peck on his head and the closed my eyes in contentment.Smiling to myself I started drifting to sleep to have beautiful dreams with Him and OUR baby.
I got the answer of his question.
I care for him because I've started falling for him all over again.
