Chapter 6

Part one
"O Rangreza...iss rang dariyan mein,
(O Colourfulman! In this stream of colour,)
Doobna hai bas tera baanke.
(I want to drown in it being all yours.)
Nahin rehna Duja baanke.
(I don't want to be separated from you.)
Ek bhi sans,
(Not a single breathe,)
Ab alag nahin leni.
(I don't want to inhale)
Khench lena pran iss tan se...nahin rehna duja baanke..."
(Don't care if my life leaves this body...I don't want to be separated from you.)
How long it has been?? She doesn't know. But she does know she hasn't seen him for a long time. How would he be looked? She doesn't know. She is longing for his one glimpse!! How would he be sounded? She doesn't know. She is dying for his heavy, deep voice!! How would he be felt on her skin? She doesn't know. She is craving for his warm yet calming touch!! How would it be with him? She doesn't know. She is yearning for him!! She is wanting him, only Him!!! Without him this festival of colours, this Holi, the Spring-Festivals nothing matters to her now. He has left her and she can't feel to breathe without him. "Why?" she asks sadly. Tears are threatening to spill. "As if you are soul in this flesh, you are the life in this body. How could you hold such an effect on me?" she asks herself rather sarcastically.
He arrives there little late but doesn't expect that he won't find her nowhere near of the festivities. A cold feeling slowly settles in his gut. "Where the hell is she?" he asks himself angrily. "Why I have to be so late? On Today?" he curses himself and searches for her everywhere and finally finds her standing beside the Thandai Stall drinking Thandai. He smiles assuredly and approaches towards her stealthily. After reaching to her, he wraps his long, strong masculine hand around her waist and drags her to him. she seems upset. So he grins crookedly at her which he always saves only for her.
"How are you doing, My Lady?" he asks. She pouts but doesn't answer. The Thandaiwala look at them with knowing grin and replies, "Bhaiya, Didi has Bhaang. Bhaang ka Rang nahin chhutega abhi. Aapko unko manane ke liye intezar karna hoga.(Brother, Sister has Bhaang. The colour of Bhaang is too strong to be faded. You have to wait to cajole her.)"
In reply he just smiles and asks him for what she has consumed. The Bhaangwala smilingly hands him a large glass of Thandai Sharwat with Bhaang. He drinks it all in one- go and returns the glass to him. Then he carefully tugs her with his side and walks away.
