Babuji Amma said to bring these household things on your way back home. Khushi handed him list of things. Shashi nodded and left house.

He was shopping in vegetable market walking to other side he went inside grocery store. 

Shashi was walking counting returned money in his hands satisfy with amount he shove them in his pocket. He arranged bags in his hands reading list once again to recheck things out of no where a masked man pop with knife he attack him tearing his forearm badly. Shashi scream in sudden pain. Masked man flew away before anyone could catch him. Shashi slump down with pain. People gathered around him. He was immediately taken to hospital.

His mobile rang Gupta house number flash on it. He smiled punching green button before he could speak he heard cry from other side. 

Ar...nav betwa... Garima spoke crying uncontrollably.

Garima's stuttering weak pain filled helpless tone alerted him. In matter of few second all wrong thought across his mind. 

Arn...av betwa she sobbed.

What happen aunty are you ok? What happen... Your not hurt right? Khushi Shashi uncle buaji are they ok? He asked curioisly

Arnav betwa... Shashi ji is not fine someone attack him in market. 

Aunty don't worry i'll be there in a while. Arnav spoke.

Ending call he turned to Aman. I have to leave some one attacked Shashi uncle. Find it out who.

Arnav rush down to his suv he drove towards Gomti sadan.

Arnav betwa now you tell him won't we panic if he'll come home injured with clothes soaked in bloods and bandage on arm. What does he expect is to do? Garima spoke angrily glaring Shashi who was sighing every now a then. His family ladies were beyond crazy, the moment he enter house they acted like someone actually died. 

His doll his Khushi was glued to his side cry since then. murmuring something which he couldn't catch much except DM, babuji, Raksha...

His jiji was hyperventilated since he was back. She was rolling chilles infront of his face, she went for special pooja for his safety. 

His wife was scolding, crying actually she was very scared. She was hell after to get her hands on man who attacked him and kill him with her bare hands.

What actually surprised him was his Damad looked hell worried and pale since he came here. He was quietly hearing everyone and consoling Garima. He asked Shashi about his health and inquired about incident in full detail. 

What left everyone stun was his decision.

Khushi threw daggars at him. She quickly step down from bed and stood infront of him. 

At least today you should have felt some shame, you are trying to take advantage of our situation. She spatted 

I am not taking advantage Khushi. Either you like it or not i will remove you all from here. Arnav replied stubbornly.

Dream on Arnavji. We won't go along with you do whatever you want. She acted all stubborn. 

Khushi try to understand. He tried to reason.

No mean No. She spatted angrily.

Arnav betwa its ok we understand your concern but it wont look nice if you'll take us along. Garima spoke apologetically. 

Arnav nodded and quietly left the house. Garima scolded Khushi for insulting him she felt he left because of her rude attitude. Shashi surprisingly stayed quiet.

Door bell was continuously ringing. Buaji yelled from inside. Wait i am coming.

The moment door open few men entered the house holding guns in their hands. Within seconds Gomti sadan went quiet...

Market which market?? He spoke out of curosity.

White Suv stopped right infront of Khushi scaring the day light out of her. She was already scared with news of her family disappearance she heard just few minutes before. A sense of relief wash over her looking at familiar figure. 

Khushi... Arnav called. ThankGod i found you here... He spoke but she cut in.

Arnavji lets go home first Amma Babuji, Buaji someone kidnapped them. Lalita Maussi just called she said few people entered our house.

Ermmm i kidnapped them they were my people... Arnav gave her sheepish look. He observed her changing looks, from shock to somewhat relief to anger to fury. 

She dropped her satchel on floor and slapped him with all her mights. HOW DARE YOU??? DO YOU EVEN REALISE WHAT I WENT THROUGH WHEN I GET THE NEWS SOMEONE KIDNAPPED MY FAMILY? YOU THINK ITS JOKE ARNAVJI. WHY DID YOU TRY THIS CHEAP ACT. WHAT IF WE DIDN'T AGREE TO STAY WITH YOU THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'LL FORCE US TO FOLLOW YOU. YOU HAVE MONEY THAT DOESN'T MEAN WORLD REVOLVE AROUND YOU, PEOPLE WILL MOVE ON YOUR WISHES. 

DIDN'T AMMA CLEARED IT TO YOU LAST NIGHT WE DON'T WANT TO BE WITH YOU. THEN WHAT WAS THIS TO PROVE HOW STRONGER YOU ARE HOW STUBBORN YOU ARE. HOW WEAK AND HELPLESS WE ARE? 

Arnav's jaws clenched in fury but he didn't spoke a word. He saw a huge crowd of people gathered around them. 

Dammit Khushi we need to leave before any damage but No you have to be drama queen and need to create scene here in middle of road. He spoke angrily and equally embarrassed. 

Behanji (sister), is he trying to molest you? A man intervene from crowd.

Sister if he is teasing you for no reason we'll teach him a good lesson let go brothers and lets just give him tight punches so he learn though he is rich but our sisters and daughters are not his shoes that whenever he needs one he can use them. Another jumped in to fight.

A group of boys started gathering infront of Arnav. 

You people are no one to jump between us. Biwi hai yeh meri. (she is my wife) Arnav spoke loudly making people whisper and moving away. 

He turned to her. Drama Queen if you are done with your How-innocent-you-are-and-How-cruel-i-am then lets go. We shouldn't stand here for long lets go. 

Arnav held her hand and started walking he felt pull turning back he found her standing stubbornly at same spot. 

Tch Khushi we can continue this at home we should leave from here. Arnav tried to reason.

No i want to go back home no where else. Not At All With You. Send my family back as well we don't need... Ahhh are you Mad. Arnav pushed her behind her before she could register something she heard loud bullet voice a splash of blood fell on her face covering her vermilion with Arnav's blood.

Khushi was arguing with him she doesn't want to go to his home, Arnav saw a pointer of red laser... Laser gun immediately his mind clicked. He followed its direction and found the man pointing it towards Khushi's head. Arnav quickly pulled Khushi who fell on ground. His targeted area was missed and bullet hit Arnav's left side. He saw his blood on Khushi's face before falling on road with thud. 

ARNAVJIII Khushi Screamed.
