CHAPTER 24
Arnav drove back home he enter RM he saw everyone gathered in Hall. Oh Chotte you came back, everything is ready Mummy ji and Dad are coming its good you are here. Go freshen up i need to talk to you and khushi in nani's room by the way where is khushi. Arnav's eyes grew in shock.
Didn't she came back home yet? where can she go? she left long back?
Chotte i am asking you something where is she???
She left in TAxi di.
WHAT have you gone mad chotte how could you steep so low you let her travel by taxi. Have you gone mad its so late and she is travelling in taxi and that too all alone. Have you seen its stormy rain outside chotte. Go and bring her home soon GO NOW!!!
Arnav turn and walk to door, he open the door and saw Khushi standing infront of him. Khushi He held Khushi from her shoulders and shook her little, where the hell have you been? Do you even had an idea what i was been through. Khushi gave him cold stares and calmly shrug his hands off her shoulder.
Anjali came running behind her Where were you khushi? Oh God see you are completely drenched. What if you catch cold? if something has happened then.
Di Khushi tried to spoke but was cut in by Payal.
Di is right Chutki where were you and why are you drenched.
Khushi smiled. And cupped both of their faces with her hands. When i have such a loving sisters how can something happens. Its just i had to go to mandir to get blessing for my little nephew jiji. I want nephew ok and that reminds me did you had your medicines on time. Juice and fruits. Oh yes i talked to Amma she said tell jiji to have Almonds milk this will make your bones strong and baby will be healthy. Pd ayal smiled at her Ok meri ma aur kuch. She smiled and sneezed.
See i knew it you will catch the cold go and change your clothes quickly i already placed the dress on your bed go i'll send Khada. Khushi nodded and left from there.
Its hard to maintain smiling facade on her face for khushi but she had to do it for her jiji, for this family. She went to room to get change. She went inside her room and locked it. She hit her back with door and put her hand on her mouth to stifle her sobs. She drop down on cold floor to cry at her vulnerable state. Every attempt of her to get back her husband felt useless today. His kissing scene memories puched her guts today. She hated herself more for believing in everyone she can get her husband back. She hated herself for even tring to get him back. More over she hated himself for letting him kiss her, Her rage level rose by every moment she think she was getting attract towards him.
She wipe her tears she compose herself in strong facade she walk inside bathroom to change into dress Anjali gave her. She heard knock on her door she quickly wipe her tears and turn around and found Arnav and Anjali standing there. Khushi was surprise for a second. Did he told her??? no he can't do that.
Anjali and Arnav came inside. Anjali looked at Arnav then spoke i need to talk to you both please its quiet important please. I hope you both understand. Actually Karan's family is coming here. Papa need to settle their place before wedding. For few days they will stay here with us and we need guest rooms to be empty. More over they don't know about your and chotte's... and i don't want them to know i hope you understand. Khushi look at her what you want di Khushi quietly asked her.

Anything for you di. Actually i talked to Amma and i wanted to go to lucknow i never went there after wedding. She knew all this but not completely. I was planning to live there for long time but Karan bhai's family is coming i'll tell her i can't come for now.
When they shift to their house you can go and visit your family. Infact chotte should also go along with you. He never went to his in-laws house. Anjali said teasingly to Arnav with cheeky smile. Arnav smiled getting embarrassed.
No di he don't need to go. Khushi's words wipe off siblings smile. I mean i know he isn't comfortable going to other's house. He don't need to accompany me. I will go on my own he don't need to bother infact he has very important meetings lined up in office with fashion shows too. He must be very busy.
Anjali felt something odd but she chose to stay quiet. Well we'll see this when time arrive. For now you need to come down for dinner. Oh you wore the dress sorry i didn't looked at you. This suits you perfectly. Pink and grey shaded complement your skin.

Khushi smiled at her completely ignoring her husband. Thankyou di. Chotte go and bring your things back to your room. Anjali left the room. Arnav step ahead to talk to Khushi but Khushi quickly walked out of room.
They were down in living area. Door bell Rang. HP open the door and Karan's mother and father entered. Anjali and everyone went to welcome them. Everyone met them nani hugged Shalani. She blessed Yash (karan's mom dad).
Finally Shalani met Anjali they hugged eachother. Anjali bend to take blessing of yash. He stop her mid way, Daughters don't touch feets. Anjali smiled, Shalini turn to ANjali,beta won't you introduce your bhabi's to us. Ofcourse mummyji.
Elder bahu of our house and wife of Chotte. Khushi ji. Khushi came forward and took their blessings and hugged shalani. This is our Akash's Wife Payal ji. Payal did same.
Both are sister am i right? Shalani asked Yes anjali said. I must say she put her fingers under khushi's chin and lovingly spoke, Arnav is lucky one to have her she very beautiful. You know what ANjali from the time Karan went back to Canada he praises khushi alot. My sister did this, My sister did that Infact chutki felt so jealous of khushi at time.
They were seated in dining Room for dinner.
Khushi was serving everyone. She didn't let Payal to work she stern tell her to sit she asked Akash and Anjali to be on her side for this. Who smiled and told payal to eat. Arnav asked Khushi to give him some Sabzi she don't want to create problem for Anjali, first time her saasuralis visiting here. She quietly went near him and put sabzi in his bowl, Arnavji ap daal lay gaye.
Arnav looked at her surprise, Akash choke on his water. Payal quickly started patting his back. Anjali hide her smirk. Khushi beta why don't you come and sit down beside your husband and have your dinner.
Khushi turn to look at Shalani she gets nervous, she cannot refuse her nor she want to go. She looked at Anjali and then nani who were waiting for her she quiet walk to kitchen and brought kheer put iton table and sat beside Arnav. She started having her dinner. Arnav looked at her from cornor of his eyes but she react.
After dinner everyone retired for night.
Khushi took her extra sweet time to go to bed tonight She don't want to face him. She tried very hard to stay back but Anjali forced her to go back and sleep rest of the work she can see it in morning. Khushi had to walk back to her room dejectedly.
Please make him sleep before i enter the room, please please please!!! idon't want to face him plzzz. She was nervous to stay back in one room with him.Officially this was their first night together after their wedding.
Khushi open the door and her eyes turn wide with horror, her mouth went dry HE WAS WIDE AWAKE AND WORKING ON HIS LAPTOP. Sh*t!!!, he is awake, God i didn't knew now a days you are grudgingly against me.

Arnav was pacing in his room, He was waiting for Khushi. He expected her to show some reaction to fight with him but she never gave one. He never expected her to agree so soon for living in one room but she amazed him once again. She agree to live in this room with him. When Anjali came to his room he was already feeling strange... Might be guilty for evening...he don't know why he felt like this. Getting physical with girls wasn't new for him he was desperate to have s*x as he was going through alot much now a days.
He wanted to get physical with the girl who roam around with tag of his wife but when he realize how she was forcefully thrusted into his life he wanted to do something which hurt her more. He hated her with all his might in that moment when he realise how much helpless he felt at the time of his wedding. He wanted to strangle the girl who agree to marry him.
He don't know why but he was waiting or her to come inside room. She was strangely behaving normal wid everyone and especially with him. Arnav singh Raizada never waits for anyone. He tried to reason and dragged himself towards recliner he sat down and opened his laptop to work but her tear streak face came infront of her. He shut his eyes. Concentrate Arnav. He tried to focus. He saw it was 10:00 pm normally she slept by 9:30 pm whats taking him this long or she purposely not coming in room.
He was getting frustrated upon himself for being such an idiot nd confused soul. He shook his head and open his emails to check. That's when khushi open the door. She gave him single look then ignored him and walk straight to closet. She took out her night cotton suit and walk to bathroom. Arnav kept looking at her.
She looked at him saw him looking back at her but then continue walking towards closet ignoring him at all. She took her night suit and walked inside washroom. She was angry on him yet she dont want feel it. She promised one thing to herself today. She will not do anything to save this forced knot. She can't put her self respect more on stake for this person who care less. Even if she gives her life that will also not effect him. So why run after those who don't care.
Yes she loved her husband from day one like every new bride does she has many dreams about her husband about her married life. How her husband will love her, how she will be his obedient wife. She will have three kids from him. Two sons and one daughter she want. They will stay happily.
Her life after wedding was totally opposite of what she expected. Her husband hated her, he left her alone, he don't want to be with her, he lust around... Khushi wash her face and came out.
She quite took her blanket and pillow, she had extra duvet in room which she brought here secretly without any one's notice she spread duvet on floor and laid down.

Arnav shut his laptop with rage walked to her, Khushi what you want to prove by sleeping on floor and too in winter. When khushi didn't spoke he turn to his side of bed. Who cares, get sick and die that's only way i don't have to see your face everyday and spoil my day.
Khushi Whose face was covered in blanket bit her punished her lower lip brutally her blood oozed out. Her tears betrayed her. Her heart clenched in pain but she didn't let him satisfy that he successfully hurted her. Arnav laid on his side of bed and shut off the light and slept. Leaving a painful soul to burn in her agonies.
Next morning
Arnav woke up, he stretch his arms he immediately turn his left side to see duvet on floor or not. she wasn't there. Arnav stood up and saw his clothes were laid out with shoes , his wallet, his mobile, his laptop bag and laptop was laid neatly at coffee and recliner. Arnav was amazed for moment. He stood up and went to pool side hoping she would be there but no. He checked bathroom but she wasn't there as well. He took shower got ready and came down for breakfast THERE SHE WAS.
She was surving breakfast to everyone. Shalani, Yash and everyone were seated there for breakfast. Here comes Arnav. Yash spoke with chirpy voice. Arnav gave him small smile Khushi looked at him and spoke Arnavji come and have your breakfast you're already late for office you have Meeting in 45 minutes. I already laid your toast and juice. Khushi was almost amused everyone with this nani, Anjali, were happy things are getting improved. Payal gave suspicious looks to Khushi. Khushi looked at Payal she decided to fight her war on her own now she don't want anyone to interfere now.
She looked in Payal's eye confidently. What jiji why are you looking at me like this i just offered Breakfast to my husband i am not romancing with him. Everyone laughed at her. Payal shook her head and smiled Pagali kahi ke.
Arnav was most confused person on table. Why is khushi behaving like this. What's wrong with her. Why is she hell bent to show everything is ok between us. He was lost in his thought when Khushi shook him little Arnavji eat your breakfast we need to leave.
Khushi ate her breakfast. When shalani spoke. Arnav i must say you are very lucky person to have wife like Khushi. Arnav looked at Shalani and then towards Khushi. Khushi looked at him, he looked back at Shalani and gave her a slight nod.
Khushi i am waiting outside come quickly. Arnav spoke and left. Khushi went to kitchen and gave Hp and OP long list to food that is to be made in lunch and then in dinner. She told him to make kheer for everyone and do take out sugar free one for Arnav. She cameout and told Payal to take her medicines on time and do have fruit and juices in between.
Di don't forget to apply oil on your leg its already winter your limp should increase with pain. Anjali nodded with smile. Nani ji You too before going to mandir do have glass of milk. Mamji glass of orange juice is good for your health and your diet.
Khushiji Don't get worried for everyone do take care of your self and Chotte as well Anjali winked. Khushi gave a small smiled and nodded. She left To go for office. She came to car proch Arnav was standing there he flare his nose in anger. I am not your driver that i will wait for...He saw khushi walk past him straight outside of gate. He took deep breath in anger sat in his SUV and followed her out. He saw her standing at side he came near her but she was already successful to stop taxi she sat in taxi and went away leaving fuming Arnav behind.
