Chapter 35

It was 4 PM.Arnav was in his cabin,typing on his laptop.Suddenly his phone began ringing.Private number showed on his cellphone.Arnav picked it up "Hello?" No one said anything "Hello?" he repeated.No one answered "Wrong number" he muttered and he cut the call.

He didn't know why but he didn't feel good.It was like a feeling that was telling him something was about to happen,but he couldn't tell what.He remembered what had happened the previous time he felt that and panicked.Dialing Khushi's number,he waited impatiently for her to pick up "Hello" Khushi said cheerfully.

"Khushi" he breathed.

Suddenly the line got cut but not before he heard Khushi scream.

Arnav called her again but it said her phone was switched off.He kept on trying to contact her but she never answered.He called home.Priya answered "Hello"

"N-nothing" Arnav cut the call.He didn't want to tell the family the terrifying phone call he had with Khushi.He called Khushi's driver,Mohan but he didn't answer.It said his phone wasn't reachable like Khushi's.He didn't know how many times he called their phones again and again and for how long.It was until he got a phone call from the hospital.
