Chapter 143

It was around 5.15pm when they left the park and went to their next destination of, "Parco di Trenno, which was another public park.

"Arnavji, why we are going to another park?, asked Khushi from the back seat of the cab.

"They have a play area for small kids, so I thought to take Arush there. I am sure he will enjoy that, said Arnav turned to face her.

"Is he sleepy?, asked Arnav looking at Arush who was munching on chips.

"I think not, said Khushi as she ruffles Arush's hair, who extended a chip to her and Khushi take it in her mouth making Arush smile.

Arnav smiled as well looking at their interaction, "Good then, he will enjoy there. And will sleep better when he gets all tired.

Khushi agreed as well, all babies tend to sleep well and for long when they are tired and enjoyed their playtime. After 30 minute drive they reached the park and Arnav took Khushi and Arush straight to the playarea.

"Wow, that so cool, said Khushi as she looked around the area and kids playing.

First Khushi take Arush to the jumping castle. She jumped like a kid along with Arush. Arnav was standing outside, making their video.

Then Arush went to a boxed play area filled with plastic balls. There was many toddlers play things which Arush enjoyed with his mama.

Arnav was impressed with Khushi's stamina. He saw many parents who were just standing at few distance and their kids were playing on their own but Khushi was with Arush on every step.

After some time Arush started to get tired and Khushi knew that now he wants his sleep. Arnav guided them back to the entrance.

"Arnavji, Khushi tug on his arms and pointed towards a stall selling cupcake. Khushi make puppy eyes at him and he chuckles knowing well that his wife is craving something sweet.

"You go and get the cab, I will be back., said Arnav.

Khushi nodded and move out of entrance shouting back, "Buy 3, different flavors ok.

Arnav shakes his head as he went to stall and buy 3 large cupcakes and a bottle of juice for himself.

They hailed the cab and went back to their hotel. Arush had slept in the cab on the way back, he was tried after playing so much. Khushi ate two of the cupcakes, enjoying them every much.

They reach their hotel around 7.45pm. Arnav placed Arush on bed and Khushi changed his diaper and took off his jacket. She adjusted the pillow on his sides and put his blanket on him.

She looks towards the living room and found Arnav talking on phone. She went to washroom to freshen up and then join Arnav, who had just cut the call.

"Everything ok, asked Khushi as she sits on the sofa next to Arnav.

"Yeah, it was Aman, said Arnav as he wound his arm around Khushi, "He was just telling me that the designers went for outing today and they will be leaving for Dehli early morning tomorrow.

"And what about the fashion show?, asked Khushi, "Did we get good reviews?

"Good? It was more than good. We got excellent reviews, said Arnav with a big smile and Khushi beamed up at him, "Really? That's wonderful.

"Yeah ... Aman was sure that AR will be getting the award this year too and I will have another business man of the year award in my pocket, said Arnav.

"Wow, that's so wonderful Arnavji, congratulations, said Khushi happily.

"Save it sweetheart, I didn't get the award yet, said Arnav.

"And no one else will be getting it as well. I am damn sure that you will be getting it this year too, said Khushi confidentially.

"Hmm we will see, said Arnav.

"Yes, you will see and the world will see how you have taken AR to the highest of hights, said Khushi proudly.

Arnav smile at her and pull her close and give a peck on her lips. Khushi closes her eyes expecting full deep kiss but after few seconds when she didn't get any she opens her eyes and look straight into his molten ones.

Blush creep on her cheeks realizing that what she was doing and how Arnav was staring at her unabashedly.

"That ... I love that blush when it adorns you cheeks, said Arnav intensely as he runs his fingers over her one cheek.

Khushi lower her eyes shyly.

Arnav put his finger under her chin and raise her face so that she looks into his eyes.

"Khushi ..., her name a whisper on his lips. He move closer that now his lips hover upon hers ... but not meeting all the way.

Desperate for connection, Khushi clutch the lapel of Arnav's jacket and tug him closer mashing her lips with his. Arnav groaned as he deepens the kiss and lays Khushi back on the couch, coming over her.

Soon they were lost in each other and hurriedly remove their clothes, impatient to feel each other bodies and touches.

They went out for dinner at "Navigli Lombardi, a vibrant neighborhood with a lot of different restaurants and bars. This place interconnects with five canals.

They had dinner at one of the restaurants which also serve fast food along with Italian because Khushi was in the mood of eating a burger. She had been eating Italian food from past week and wasn't in the mood to eat more of that.

After dinner they got on a boat, from a nearby stop and went on a boat ride towards "Navigil Grande past the cafes, restaurants, shops & stalls leading towards the 13th C. Romanesque/Gothic style twin church with bell tower before returning along the same route. Arush and Khushi both enjoyed the ride and as usual Arnav enjoyed their antics.

After that Arnav took Khushi to Milan's another famous square, "Quadrilatero d'Oro, Milan's most exclusive shopping district but one of the world's most important centers for fashion as well. The "Golden Quadrilateral encompasses several city blocks, most of which are ornamented with Neoclassical architecture. Via Sant'Andrea features some of the brightest luminaries of the fashion world, including Herms, Armani, Chanel and Michael Kors.

Khushi made a face at Arnav and told him in no nonsense tone that she will not be buying anything but agreed in next minute when Arnav asked her to buy something for him and Arush. Arnav was amused looking at his wife happily buying stuff for him and Arush, it made his heart warm. Because in the past the women he interacted with, mostly care about their own self and never backed out from luxury shopping spree. He loves that Khushi is different from all those women.

Next day (Saturday) they had an early breakfast in the room as they want to leave early so that they come back to hotel by evening ... they will be needing time to pack their things and don't want to get late in sleeping.
They left the hotel around 10.00am and went to "Santa Maria delle Grazie, a church and Dominican convent in Milan, which is best known for its most famous artifact: The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. Despite a 21-year-long restoration process completed in 1999, the painting gives only hints of its original glory, yet its artistry is so great that viewing it, is still a powerful and moving experience for many visitors.

Only 25 visitors are allowed to view the masterpiece at a time, making reservations mandatory for the must-see masterpiece. So Arnav has written his name down and they had to wait almost half an hour for their turn to see the famous painting. And it was worth the wait, because seeing that masterpiece by yourself is truly a magical experience.

Meanwhile waiting for their turn, they went towards the church section to explore the place. It was indeed beautiful with all the wall paintings and artistic features all around.

Next they went to "Sforzesco Castle, which was just a 5 min drive away from the church. This castle was Built as fortress during the 14th century, the structure became a showcase of power and prestige. Among the castle's most famous inhabitants were Ludovico il Moro and Beatrice d'Este, a couple who filled the Sforzesco with fine art and furnishings.

Today, the castle is home to the Museo d'Arte Antica, which features the Piet Rondanini, Michelangelo's final masterpiece. An extensive display of Egyptian art is on display in the castle's former ducal apartments.

This castle was at one end of the Milan's another large park, "Sempinone Park, which also houses a sport arena, a museum and an aquarium. Arnav was not in the mood to visit another museum so they went to the Aquarium after exploring the castle.

Arush exclaimed happily looking at the fish and extended his hands up to Arnav, "Papa pash.

Arnav smiles and pick him up from pram and held him close to his chest as they move around the aquarium and Arnav, just like before, told him about fishes as Arush keep on asking, "yeh ka ha?.

After spending some time in the aquarium they went to the opposite direction towards, "Arco della Pace, a landmark triumphal arch also known as Arch of Peace. It dates back to 19^th century, although its origin can be traced back to a gate of Roman walls of Milan.

Arnav told Khushi about a caf nearby, which serves Indian buffet and Khushi quickly told him that they should go there. Khushi wants to eat some Indian food. They walk to caf called, "Bhangra Bar and have an early lunch buffet. Khushi like the flashy interior and was happy eating some home food. They got to know that every alternate night a band perform bhangra dance in the bar that's why caf is named "Bhangra Bar.

After resting for some time in the caf they walk ahead to "China Town, an important commercial district. It is the oldest and largest Chinese community in Italy.

They look around the area and explore some shops. Khushi bought a cute china doll, as a souvenir, from one of the shops. They also watch a dragon show, for few minutes, at one corner of the area. They didn't go in deep of China Town and came out after few minutes of looking here and there.

Arnav halied a cab and sit in the front seat. He showed the driver something on his cell phone and said in low voice about the place he wants to go. Khushi asked him, but he hushes her saying that it's a surprise for both her and Arush.

Khushi was giddy with excitement when their cab stopped outside Acquatica Park, after half hour drive. She waited for Arnav to pay the driver and then hug him tight, "Thank you ... that's so sweet of you.

Arnav quickly move back, "Don't pinch my cheeks.

Khushi giggle seeing his expression and then held Arush's hand, "Come on Arush, lets play with water.

They went inside and Arnav put the pram at the collection counter where people can store their stuff. He got the slip and put it in his wallet. The best thing about this place was that they had a separate slide area and pool for smaller kids.

Khushi's excitement got poofed when the guide asked them to change into their swimming suites as its not allowed to go in pool fully clothed.

"Arnavji, Khushi looked worriedly at Arnav.

"Khushi, no one knows you here and I am sure they have one piece swimming suite for ladies, said Arnav as he guided Khushi towards the locker room where they can rent swim clothes.

"Arnavji, I won't feel comfortable in it, said Khushi as she eyed the swim suit in her hand.

"Khushi like I said no one knows you here and they don't care what you wear. I am sure you have seen many women are wearing much less than that, said Arnav as he changed Arush's clothes.

Khushi looked at the swim suite and then outside at the slide, she really really wanted to go on them. It will be her first time but she wants to experience those slides. She stomped her foot and went to change.

Meanwhile Arnav rented a locker and put his clothes, Arush's clothes and their backpack in the locker.

He was about to call Khushi when she came out wearing the suite, making him speechless.

Khushi tugged on the edges on her hips and look shyly at Arnav whose eyes were moving up and down on her. He came out of trance when Arush run to Khushi.

"Mama chalo ... pani mein chalo, said Arush as he tug on Khushi's hand.

Khushi nodded and pick him up, using him as shield to cover her front.

"Chalain?, Khushi said in low voice coming close to Arnav.

"yeah, lets go, they came out and Arnav wear the key around his neck and then went to the counter and paid for a VIP ticket, by his platinum card, which allowed them to access all rides in this aquatic park.

"Khushi wear this, said Arnav as he put a purple thread around her neck with a chip attached with words VIP on it, "You go to that slide, its for kids of Arush's age, I will join you after putting my wallet into the locker. Khushi nodded, avoiding looking at his bare chest, and went towards the slide area.

Khushi was glad that they had water heating system, for winters, to make the slides and swimming comfortable. She was still tugging on her swim suite when Arnav joined her. She gasped feeling his hands over hers, "Relax Khushi ... if you keep on fidgeting it will make other watch you. Just relax and don't think, other won't notice you, which was not that true as he watched a young man nearby watching Khushi.

The dark blue swim suit was highly complimenting her skin and her flushed cheeks were making her adorable. Arnav leaned in and peck her lips and eyed the man, who quickly turned away, telling him and other that she is only his.

Unknown to whats happening around Khushi went in water with Arush.

Arnav followed them, holding the swim wings, he rented for Arush. Khushi climbed the steps, with Arush in her arms, and stopped on the top in front of yellow slide. Arnav was standing down at its other end.

"Ready?, asked Khushi and Arnav nodded. Khushi lower Arush on the slide and then after few second left his arms. Arush shout in delight as Arnav catch him on the other end. "Phir see, shouted Arush happily and they did the same thing for 5 times more.

Then they went to the sand area, just next to the kids pool, where small kids were playing with toys. Arnav and Khushi spend some time there, playing with Arush and then they took Arush to the big swimming pool which had straight big slides at one end.

Arnav and Khushi went in the pool with Arush. Arnav strap the wings in Arush's arm, which will help him float on water. They spend some time playing in the water. Arnav asked Khushi if she wants to go on slide, to which she agreed. They went in the line and had to wait for some minutes when their turn came. First Khushi went and splash in the water pool then Arnav lays Arush in his lap and went down on slide. Arush shout happily as they splash in the water.

The park was huge, with patches of grass, where one can rest or lay down for a while. There were lots of rides, huge, thrilled and some kids friendly. They opted out of thrilled slide and went for the ones where they can take Arush with them. Khushi's hesitation was gone after she started enjoying the slides and water splashes. The ride she enjoyed most was the floating tube slide, where one sit in the big tube and it slides down the circular slide and then splash in the circular pool. She went on it 3 times, one of them was with Arush.

Surprisingly, Arnav enjoyed too, not only with Khushi but also with Arush. Every time Arush exclaimed happily or went to him for support, trusting Arnav, that he will take care of him, Arnav heart melted each time. He could see the trust and love in his son's eyes for him and that made him guilty of not spending time with him like this before. He made a decision that he will become more active in his son's life from now on.

When it's started to get dark, Arnav and Khushi went to locker room and changed back into their clothes. They were surprise to realize that they had spent nearly 2.5 hours enjoying around. They had snacks and juice at the caf in the park and then went back to their hotel.

Arush slept in the car again and Khushi put him to bed after changing his clothes and diaper. Arnav and Khushi also lay on bed, after changing, for some rest.

Next day, Sunday, they wake up early morning. They packed their luggage and left for airport after having a breakfast to catch their 11am flight back to Dehli.

Khushi adjusted the blanket on Arush and peck his head. She went back to her seat which was parallel to Arush's in another aisle on plane. They were sitting in the business class and there are always a few seats vacant as not many people travel business class. She looks to her side and saw Arnav eyes closed and a lock of hair was falling on his forehead. Her hand moves on it's on accord and move away his hair. Arnav's eyes opened feeling her touch.

"Sorry ...", said Khushi pulling her hand back but Arnav grab it and kiss her knuckles.

"Arush asleep?", asked Arnav. Khushi nodded her head, "You also go back to sleep. I didn't mean to wake you up".

Arnav shakes his head, "You know I can't sleep without you beside me, he said softly and Khushi smiled warmly at him ... its the same case with her too.

Khushi glance at Arush and then turn to her side, facing Arnav who quickly remove the hand rest between them and scooted close to her and Khushi snuggled up to him.

"I don't want to go back yet. I wanted to take you to Rome, to Venice ... Greece and ..., Arnav stopped and sighed.

"And who is stopping you? You can take me there whenever you want to, said Khushi.

"Really who stopped me?, said Arnav and then he mimicked her "Arnavji i want to celebrate Diwali with family.

Khushi pouted and smacked his chest lightly, "Arnavji it's my first Diwali as your wife and with our family. I want to experience every first properly like you told me you wanted to experience your firsts with me.

"Yeah so? You are here and I am here. We don't need others to celebrate things together, Arnav said with a naughty glint in his eyes.

Khushi blush a little, understanding his meaning, "And you would have celebrated Diwali in Rome with me haan? Making rangolli and lighting firework sticks?

Arnav made a face and Khushi shakes her head, "I said I want to do it properly and these occasion are celebrated with family ... only then we can enjoy it in the real sense.

"Fine, said Arnav as he turn away from her and look up the plane's ceiling.

"Arnavji, Khushi places her hand over his cheek and make him turn to her, "I am not denying from going away with you ... lets celebrate Diwali with our family and spend 2-3 days with them ... then we will go where ever you want and I won't even ask for how many days.

Arnav's eye lit up at that, "Really you won't ask?".

"Yes, said Khushi and tweak his nose ... a gesture which usually he does to her.

"Ok then, let's get over with Diwali ... then we will go to Greece, said Arnav with a smile.

"Ok done, now let's sleep. We still have 5 hours to land, said Khushi and was about turn when Arnav stopped her and loom over her. Khushi realize what he wanted to do.

"Arnavji no, said Khushi worriedly as her eyes glance towards the aisle.

"You know I can't go to sleep without kissing you, he said huskily and capture her lips in a soft ...sweet kiss.

Khushi tried to protest but when have her heart ever listen to her in regards of Arnav? Soon she was lost in the sensation of their kiss.

When they parted after few minutes Khushi smack his chest, "You are so bad. You don't see the place and that someone will see and you ... you do that", said Khushi ... her cheeks adorning the blush which Arnav love to see.

"You are my wife and I have every right on you. I can kiss you whenever and wherever I want, "said Arnav arrogantly, "No one will dare stop me.

Khushi shakes her head thinking that even if someone dares to stop him. Arnav never cares ... he does what he wants always.
