Chapter 9

Arnav comes out of his thoughts with the knock on the door, he looked up and saw Akash coming in, "Bhai are you free?", asked Akash.

"Yeah, whats up?", said Arnav. "I need to discuss this report with you.", said Akash standing near the table.

"Ok come", said Arnav .

Akash sits on the chair in front of Arnav and starts discussing the report, after few minutes Aman comes too, to discuss something.

In the mean while, Khushi almost finished her design, she looked at the time on her watch, its 4.20pm ... she had 10 mins left. She hurriedly colored the chunri of the lehnga, and done with it in 5 mins. She looked at her design, it was not excellent but it was good, she could have done more to it if given more time , but that arrogant man didn't gave her much time, she thought. She gathers her stuff and moves towards Arnav's Cabin.

"Is Arnav sir in there?", Khushi asked Annie.

"Yes, but he is busy with Akash Sir" ... "Well he wanted me to meet him at 4.30 so I am going to meet him at 4.30", with that Khushi moves towards the door. Before Annie could stop her Khushi knocked twice on the door and went inside.

Arnav was saying something when the door opened, "What the ... !" he said and looked up at Khushi. Akash and Aman also turns towards the door and saw her coming in.

"Exact at 4.30, not a minute late ... SIR (emphasizing on the word 'sir')", said Khushi while showing her wrist watch to Arnav.

Arnav looked at her amused and watch the time on the clock on his table which exactly showing 4.30pm.

He then raise an eyebrow like asking her "can't you see I am busy?", its like Khushi just read the question in his eyes she said, "I will wait there (she pointed towards the sofa on her right) while you finish Sir."

With that she moves towards the Sofa and sits down and opens her folder pretending to see but in actually she was nervous of stares Arnav, Akash and Aman throwing towards her. Akash thought Arnav would scold her any minute now for disturbing him but to his utter surprise Arnav just starts to discuss where he left off. Akash gave a surprise look to Aman asking "what was that", Aman who also couldn't figure out Arnav's behavior just shrugged his shoulder and focus towards the discussion. The discussion went on, 15 mins passed and Khushi was getting bore, so she found an empty page on her folder and started to sketch, one of the things which she always does whenever gets bored and got nothing else to do.

After 40-45 mins Arnav got finish with the discussion, Akash and Aman got up and turn towards the door, Aman left the cabin and Akash was about to but his eyes caught Khushi and a smile played on his lips, Arnav saw that and look where Akash was looking.

Khushi was sitting on the floor bend over her folder, her bag lay open and few colors were scatter beside it and she was coloring something, her hair was on her left shoulder and few bangs of hair coming down on her face, her tongue was out touching the upper lip on left side and she looked totally lost in her drawing. "Akash .." Arnav said and looked at him questioningly, Akash stammers seeing his brother's serious look, "Oh bhai I ..i was .. just going" he said quickly and went out of the cabin.

Arnav walked towards Khushi and stand right in front of her. 2 mins passed but Khushi still didn't realize that Arnav was standing in front of her. Arnav was amused at her concentration, he looked at what she was drawing and its look like a western men wear, Khushi extend her hand to pick up a color and it slips from her hand and roll towards Arnav's shoes, when Khushi moves her eyes toward the color to see where it rolled to and saw a pair of black polished shoes she immediately look up and saw Arnav staring down at her. Her mouth shaped into a perfect "O", which Arnav find her very cute at the moment.

She suddenly stood up, "umm , wo mm .. I .." she stammers and then quickly bend down and put all her colors and pencils in bag and quickly pick up her folder and brush away her bangs from her face and look at Arnav, "wo .. actually I was getting bore so I was .. I was just ..." before Khushi could finish Arnav extends his hand forward gesturing her to give her folder to him, but Khushi quickly take out a page and hand it to Arnav. Arnav was expecting her to give her folder to him but she didn't, he took the page and then pulls the folder from her hand too. Khushi got nervous and put per right index finger between her lips and starts to chew on it. Arnav look at the page first.

It was a simple yet pretty design of lehnga in baby pink and dark green color, the color combination itself was very luscious. The blouse was of dark green color, all plain but has a silver line at its border. The lehnga skirt was in strips of green and baby pink color. Slim green strips with wide baby pink strips going down toward the border and there was a design pattern at the end of each strip. The dupatta was of baby pink color with dark green border and have silver lines running along its length. Arnav was impressed that Khushi had made that piece of design in just one hour, which mostly young designers were failed to do so.

He then look at her folder and see the design which she was doing just few minutes ago. He saw a men wear, black faded jeans with red color shirt and a grey jacket on top, a scarf was also there but it was not filled with color. Maybe that's what she was going to color when she realize I was here, thought Arnav. The one thing which ASR appreciates heartily is "talent" and he knows that girl standing in front of him surely got talent. But he doesn't want to show it as his ego comes in-between. "Its ok ..." he said and handed back the folder to her without any expression on his face.

Khushi felt dejected that he didn't like the design, Arnav could read the disappointment on her face, he don't know why but he didn't like that look on her pretty face so he said, "You can work but I still think that you cannot handle the pressure of the work here".

Khushi looked at him surprise and said, "How would you know? You haven't try me yet".

"oh my does she know what she had just said have a double meaning", Arnav thought ... oh he would love to try her to devour her .. wait .. what are you thinking .. Stupid ASR.. You are not a teenager, he mentally chided himself. Why his thoughts are going in other direction with her in front of him?

"So let's try you then", Said Arnav smirking, Now Khushi realized what she had said and what it could be perceived, "umm .. whaa ... what", she stammered clearly not expecting that answer in return.

"Come back tomorrow, I will assign you some tasks, will test you for a week, if by the end of it you were able to handle everything I will give you the job" said Arnav in a clipped voice.

"Oh thank you so much Sir ..." Khushi jumped a little with excitement, Arnav was little surprise at her sudden change of expression.

"I assure you I will give my best" Khushi said smilingly.

"We will see to that", said Arnav and turn towards her table.

"umm mm good bye Sir" ,with that Khushi moves toward the door.

"Sharp at 9 Ms. Gupta ... I don't like late beings", Said Arnav.

Khushi nodded her head and said "Have a nice day Sir" and give her full smile and left the cabin.

Arnav was mesmerized by her smile, so innocent yet so sensual ... F**K whats happening to me, Arnav runs his hand through his hair and went towards the adjacent room instead of his table.

Arnav was surely going to have a sleepless night as it was already 2 a.m and all he did till now was tossing and turning on his huge king sized bed. His mind then travel back to 3 years ago ...

...when the show ended he had asked Aman to look for the model in that pink gown, so that he can talk to her, he had no idea why he was so affected by her, that too in just 2 small meets. But Aman couldn't find that model as it was told that she went to home early. Arnav then asked the dean to send the designer who designed that dress along with model to his office tomorrow. The truth is that Arnav was not interested in the dress or designer. He only wanted to meet the girl he met. He was curious because of her action. Here other girls want to touch him, or to say more clearly just to jump on him, try to seduce him, but that girl whom he met, had pushed him away. He wanted to know why that mere girl is affecting him so much. But the model who came tomorrow with the designer was not her, he asked the designer Riya that she is not the model, where is the actual model. But Riya asked him that how could he have known that she was not the model as the model was wearing the mask. Arnav couldn't tell her that what he did in the green room. So he left the topic, reluctantly giving the internship to Riya, because he got no other choice. He doesn't know her name so he can't even do investigation about her. He had then spend many many nights thinking about her, her eyes, her glowy skin, feel of her soft body ... not to forget her unique fragrance ...

Then that incident with Tania happened and he kind of forget about her but now seeing her after 3 years, he couldn't help but think about her. He had been among with so many beautiful women, worked with them, dated them but somehow no one has affected him before like this girl did. The feeling of just to touch her, kiss her, taste her skin ... The feeling just to have her whole, she had an amazing figure with all the curves on the right places. This feeling never came with any other women before. It scared him a little bit that he is losing control of his feelings for the first time in his life. But at the same time he was elated to see her again, he couldn't believe it that she is here and will be here, around him, in his office, now he will not let her go easily. And the way she accepted his challenge and completed it in time, impressed him very much, now he wanted to know if she really is that bold the way she appear or not. If she is able to handle his temper or more is she able to handle HIM ...

And more importantly he wanted to know if he can affect her the same way as she does, she also has to pay for those many sleepless nights he have spent thinking about her in past. NOW WE WLL SEE Miss Khushi Gupta ...!! ... was his last thought when sleep took over him.
