Continuation - Part 2/

Daddy's Little Princess read huge lime green letters above the crib. The walls were painted in a light yellow coloring, with multi - colored balloons drawn on it. There was a shelf just a little above the floor, flowing through the whole room, stacked with various toys, dolls and teddy bears. A changing station with a closed in a playpen sat at the right side of the door. The windows were decorated with pink frills, while the door held white board with things written on it by khushi and Arnav themselves. A dresser was placed right at the opposite end of the crib and held various necessities khushi would need. At the corner was a rocking chair, along with a huge stuffed Winnie the pooh bear with her name written on its red shirt 'Zoya Singh Raizada. And a huge picture frame hung on the side wall, with Arnav Khushi and their daughter in the middle wrapped in a pink blanket, taken on the night she was born.

Zoya was gloriously sleeping away peacefully avid to the concerns of the rest of the world. Her soft breathing vibrating through the room, tiny hands curled into strong fists. Adorning a light green dress with the word, Adorable written across it, little white hand sewn boots clad feet twisted together, stuffed beneath a pink fluffy blanket.

She was Arnav's princess to be exact, she had his attitude because only when she came into his arms, would her whaling stop. And she inherited her mother's infectious laugh, along with those big huge saucer like twinkling eyes that declared what a true beauty she was.

It had been a 3 days since Zoya had entered this world. But it felt as if her parents had been awaiting her arrival for centuries forth. Arnav and Khushi had found heaven on earth, their own little beautiful sacred heaven from the others. They both were content with the happiness they had, lost among these new valuable and irreplaceable emotions withering through them.

They both had long before discussed what it would mean to have a child, but now those discussions seemed momentary with nothing coming beyond what they felt at this moment, with Zoya breathing right in front of them. It was still a yet to be sunk in feeling but they were already coated with the joy of it.

''Arnav how long are you going to stare at Zoya, for?'' Khushi, shadows drawn under her eyes, hair in a messy bun, dressed in a casual yet still very much appealing suit. She had been starring off at her husband watching their daughter sleep.

But he had been doing that for the past hour or so and now it was irking her. She wanted some of his attention also, '' Arnavvv...'' she whined slightly whispering into his ear, desperate for some kind of reply from him.

''hmm...'' he said dismissively, not turning around to face her, too lost in his little wonder. It was still a feeling, he couldn't describe. No, amount of words could explain, exactly how he felt when he saw her. Zoya was sleeping right before his eyes, it gave words to his deepest fears and most undeniable feelings, he had kept within himself. His eyes roamed over her beautiful little face, hands on the crib, gaze never leaving her. Having her this little angel, had definitely put put life into perspective for the Arnav Singh Raizada. His time knew no other being than her and Khushi.

''seems like Baba has found his new khushi, Zoya'' laughing at her own little joke.Khushi stared at the father, daughter duo, thanking the heavens above for this much happiness in her life.

''funny'' Arnav groaned out, before he swung a accusing glaze at Khushi

deciding, he was not going to budge, Khushi gave in and leaned onto his shoulder, '' what are you thinking?'' she questioned soothingly, playing around with his hand.

''khushi, do you see how her nose is so tiny?'' he asked in a daze, very much aware of the new responsibility on his shoulders. Could he live up to such a big responsibility, could he be the father, his daughter needed? Would he measure up? Insecurities filtered through him, driving every fear he had hidden within, out and about now.

suddenly very much concerned by where his words were going, Khushi straightened up,

''i can't tell if she is breathing. her nose is so tiny. How does air go in and out? '' he expressed in the most sincerest voice, leaving khushi in a awe of her husband. She released a bated breath, shaking her head, '' she is breathing, Baba dearest. Don't worry'' Khushi said to pacify him.

peering over at Zoya, Arnav with his eyes motioned khushi to look towards their daughter, '' i can't believe they let me have her with some sort of certificate'' his voice nearly reaching disillusionment, he extended his hand towards Zoya's little face to check if there was air really coming in and out of her tiny little nose, only to have khushi pull it back,

'' Arnav ! '' she said astonished at his words, '' calm down'' stroking his arm lightly, she pulled herself up and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek softly holding on to his arm as support.

''we shouldn't have brought her home this early, Khushi what do we know about being parents? your a klutz and i am ---'' Pure, unadulterated fear ran through him.

but before Arnav could complete his words, Khushi cut in '' you are going to be wonderful father. you already are Arnav, Zoya loves you. Don't you see how she smiles, every time you pick her up'' Arnav's gaze collided with hers, and in an instant he fell in love with the women before him, yet again. it was no wonder, every time he saw her, as his wife, as a mother to their daughter, all he knew was without Khushi, life would not be complete.

''Arnav being a parent isn't about being perfect, its a learning process. You and me, both will make mistakes, i am not saying we won't but as long we learn from them and raise our daughter to be a kind - hearted woman, i am happy'' Arnav felt his whole world breath in front of him. All his life, he had yearned for this kind of love, need, support, and Khushi had came along with so much more, she was the half to his whole.

If by being his wife, a wife to the one of the most complicated man on earth was not enough, she had given him another happiness; their daughter. She was always giving, it made him wonder, how did she harbor so much love within her. She gave without any expectations. While it took so much for him to return an ounce of the love, she showered upon him.

''i love you'' he gave in, wilting and leaning over Khushi's shoulder, pressing a soft kiss on the crook of her neck, '' don't ever leave me''

shock ran through her and than a rush to soothe his fears took over. Slowly entangling from him, her eyes reached his moist ones '' arnav, what are you talking? I will always be here, right by your side''

''your too good for me. sometimes i feel as if i don't deserve you'' expressing his emotions in a dazzled voice, his arms found way around her waist, pulling her into a warm, soft hug.

''And you bad, but still nobody deserves to be with me, other than you'' khushi completed, drawn into the lazy moment of fulfillment.Wrapped in the strength of his arms, trapping her frail body in his never ending warmth. His lukewarm breath, mingling with hers.

tilting his head, watching her his lips arched into a smirk, ''your stuck''

''Sadly! me and Zoya both know that'' with a light stroke, Khushi broke away from his hold, settling back as she leaned her head on his chest, Whilst arnavs arm wrapped around her protectively. Leaning down, his lips grazed the top of her head in a subtle kiss. Both watching their little angel sleeping before them, soon sleep took over them also.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Already used to waking up beside one person, whom she wanted forever with, Khushi found concern wash over her, when she didn't find her husband beside her. She was sure she had fallen asleep tangled within his arms, but when she awoke, he was no where in sight. Her eyes automatically found the crib and assured her, Zoya was still in deep slumber. The doctor had told her, about the sleeping cycles and how it would take some time for the baby to adjust along with the parents, of course. Oddly enough, Khushi had found no pains in waking up in the middle of the night for a feeding session or middle of the day for a diaper change. Or maybe it was because, Arnav had taken it upon himself to tend to most of Zoya's needs.

But suddenly now with too much time to herself, she wondered what her ruthless piece was up too. In a stride, she took in a sleeping zoya making sure she was in the greatest comforts, along with a need to cuddle her, arose within her. But pushing away the emotional need, she walked out of the nursery, with the baby monitor in her hand very much aware it was middle of the night. Everyone in the raizada house were in deep sleep, so where was her laad governor?

it was only when she neared towards the lounge, the sweet, delicious aroma of something sticky and sweet filled her. 'Jalebi', her mind screamed, already water piling up in her mouth, nerves kicking in and her hormones yelling for a sweet endeavor. In quick steps, Khushi landed right up at the kitchen door and what she saw, struck her heart.

Arnav Singh Raizada
, draped in a apron like thing, flour caked on various parts of his face making him look all the more adorable. Hands working away with a spatula in a frying pan, which was infilled with messy circular forms, and her heart melted that instant. All concentration on his creation, not realizing khushi was stand right in front of him. He picked up the jalebi like, thing and dipped it in a sweet syrup, which had khushi's stomach growling. She slowly tip - toed forward, not wanting to make any noise. When she reached him, her arms wove around his waist, and leaning in, she whispered, '' thank you''

''what are you doing here?'' surprised, his voice asked in a bare breath not wanting to wake anyone up.

Arnav turned around to take in his fill of his wife standing before him, it occurred to him that she might have sniffed out jalebi's far as the nursery, but her twitching smile, gained his attention, '''whats so funny?''

coming forward, khushi dabbed his face slightly with her hand, taking off the excess flour, '' nothing, its just you look, extra handsome tonight'' blushing and grinning were never a good combination in her mind so, taking a step back, she focused on the stacks of jalebi's, '' are those for me?''

When Arnav nodded, she rushed past him and stopped short before the plate, '' what are they?'' scratching her head in confusion, she spun around to meet her husband.

''very funny! they are orange, sweet and sticky. thats all i could manage''

''are they safe to eat?''

fist clenched, with a forced smile and khushi knew it was time to stop, '''accha, let me have a taste'' breaking the orange, circular thing in half, khushi took a bite and sighed in a sensation. The sweetness of the jalebi, swirled her senses and she moaned out a content breath.

''And the verdict is -------''

walking towards Arnav, in slow and measured steps khushi smiled, '' thank you. they are delicious'' her lips grazed his, on her toes, plate still clutched tightly in her hand. Arnav caught her at the waist, deepening the kiss, their breathless lips pressed together again and again, taking them to another world of their own, unaware of the rest. Ragged breathings started pouring out, as arnav took the plate away from her, placing it on the counter.Simultaneously, Khushi's arm snaked up and closed around his neck.Their desire burning into fiery heat as both released the pent up emotions into this one kiss. The kiss that spoke of promises, love, care, respect, and most of all a forever with each other.

they had only stared to lean back, when little stifling sounds of cries, came through the baby monitor, breaking the moment. Both flushed; with a grinning Arnav and blushing khushi, their attention turned towards the rectangular like box sitting near the fridge counter, telling them, their daughter was wide awake just like them.

''I'll take her'' both had in a echo of each others voice.

Arnav took khushi's wrist in his hand and led her up the stairs, with the plate filled with jalebi in one hand. He nudged her towards their room with the plate in tow '' Go, I'll see zoya. You need rest'' he spoke into her ear and made his own way towards his little angel.
