Chapter 62

Vaidya and his wife comes running with birju. Shambhavi was screaming in pain. Shrijana sent Rudra out of the room. He don't want to left her but she makes him understand so he reluctantly goes outside. Vaidya's wife examines her. She touched her stomach and becomes relieved. She then gives her some medicine due to which shambhavi immediately got relief. Vaidya's wife nods looking at shrijana with a slight smile on her face indicating that baby is fine. Shrijana too becomes relieved. Shambhavi looks at shrijana.

Shrijana: the baby is fine.

She closes her eyes in relief and caresses her abdomen. Shrijana goes outside the room to inform others. Rudra asks her impatientely.

Rudra: how is she? Is she ok?what happened to her?

Shrijana: she is fine and the baby too. There is nothing to worry about.

Vaidya's wife comes outside and says.

Vaidya's wife: she has taken too much stress that why she got such severe pain. You have to make sure it never happens again. Its dangerous for the baby. Try to keep her happy as much as you can. She is sleeping right now.

Shrijana: but what happens suddenly?

Rudra turns around and looks at sameeksha angrily. He goes near her. She gets scared

Rudra: what the hell you were thinking? What was the need to tell her about last night? Have you lost your Mind? Don't you know about her delicate condition.

She didn't say anything and starts crying. Birju intervenes. He pats on his shoulder and says.

Birju: calm down Rudra..she is ok now. Go to her,she needs you

He gives her a disgusted look and goes inside the room. He sits beside her. He saw her one hand on her stomach. He keeps his hand on hers.

Next day

Shambhavi was standing in the balcony. she was thinking about something and getting happy, Rudra comes he was also happy. There was something special about that day. Something special happened a year back which changed his and shambhavi's life. He hugs her from behind and says..

Rudra: do you remember what day is today?

Shambhavi: yes..today we met for the first time. Last year you tried to kidnap me.

Rudra becomes surprised to know that she remembers everything.

Rudra: so you remember. I wanted to confess something today. When I saw you for the first time I got so lost in your beauty that for a moment I forgot my aim of kidnapping you.

Shambhavi: how can I forget? Even I was bowled over by your charisma.

She turns towards him. He looks at her with all the love he has for her. She embrace him.

Rudra: so much changed in a year. Before you came into my life I never even think of getting married. You have changed my life. You have made me a better man. I love you..

He cupped her face and kissed her forehead.

Shambhavi: I love you too. You know I always think that there isno man in this world who can win my love. I never think that I can fall in love with someone so deeply and madly. I fall for the man who tried to kidnap me.

She taunts him and he narrowed his eyes.

Rudra : you should thank me for that. If I didn't came to kidnap you then we would have never met.

Shambhavi: and I love you for that. Now I can say that trying yo kidnap me was one of the best thing you ever did.

Rudra: I saved your life and you slapped me.

Shambhavi: I did the right thing. You were a stranger for me back then. You were a kidnapper for me.

Rudra: that one act changed my life. Now I have the most beautiful girl in this world as my wife, whom I love more than anything else and who is soon going to be the mother of my child.

Shambhavi blushes. He gently holds her chin and placed a soft kiss on her lips.

At night

Shambhavi was sleeping cuddling Rudra. He was awake and was caressing her stomach. He smiles when she gets more closer to him. Watching her sleep has always been his favourite thing to do. After sometimes he too fell asleep. When he woke up in the morning he saw another burn mark on her shoulder. She was moaning in pain. His heart crushed watching her like this. Every night she had nightmares and every time she sees that hooded man. Birju searched the whole kingdom but he couldn't find anything about that mysterious hooded man. Rudra tightens the security of the palace and appoints two soldiers outside his room. No one was allowed to enter and leave the palace without his consent. For next 4 months everything went normal. Shambhavi stopped getting nightmares and No unusual activity happened with her but Rudra was not leaving any stone unturn to find out about those weird things happening to her. Shambhavi's baby bump started to show. Rudra starts taking care of even more. He don't even let her do small works. He was treating her more like a baby and she was enjoying this special treatment though sometimes he becomes way too protective but she knew that its his love for her. One day Rudra got some urgent work. He wasn't ready to go leaving shambhavi alone but it was necessary for him to go. He strictly denied going anywhere. Shambhavi makes him understand.

Shambhavi: you are the king. You have some responsibility towards our kingdom. I'll be fine. There are so many people to take care of me.

She convinced him to go and he reluctantly agreed. He told birju to take care of her in his absence to which he agreed.

Rudra: only for few hours. I'll be back soon. Last time when i left you.

Shambhavi: Rudra..i am not going anywhere. I'll stay here untill you'll return.

He kissed her forehead,he caresses her baby bump and kissed on it.

Rudra: daddy will come soon...

She smiles and he left. After he went shrijana comes to take care of her. Suddenly shambhavi started feeling very sleepy.shrijana makes her lay on bed. She stays with her all the time. Few hours later shrijana saw her stirring on the bed. She was asleep and frowning. She fists her fingers. Shrijana tried to calm her down. She realises that she is having nightmare. She even tried to wake her up but she didn't awake. Tears were rolling down from her closed eyes. She was grasping and soon got drenched in sweat. Shrijana panicks and immediately calls birju and he rushed to call Vaidya. Shrijana was trying hard to wake her up but she wasn't opening her eyes instead she started screaming. Everyone comes running and becomes horrified to see the scene. Birju brings Vaidya. He got confused at first watching her like this. He too tried to wake her up and gave her some medicines but no use. It looks like someone is stopping her from getting awake. She wasn't able to hear anyone's voice. She clentched her fists and dug her fingernails in her palms so hard that they start bleeding.

Here jwala was chanting some mantras. He has a woodoo doll with shambhavi's piece of cloth on it.

Her screams were getting louder. Rudra comes and heard her screams. He runs towards her. He got shocked and terrified to see the scene. Shrijana was crying badly. Rudra goes near her. He holds her hand.

Rudra: what's happening?

Vaidya: I have tried everything but she is not waking up. We have to wake her up as soon as possible or else anything can happen.she is not responding to anyone's voice.

Shrijana: don't know what happened...everything was going well since last 4 months and now it all started again.

Rudra caresses her cheek. Her loud screams were breaking his heart into,thousand pieces. Watching her in so much pain was becoming unbearable for him.

Rudra: she'll hear my voice. She will,listen to,me. I request you all to plz go outside.

Everyone goes outside. Rudra tried to open her fists. Her Hands were bleeding badly. He cries.

Rudra: Shama..i know you can hear me. You have to listen to me.plz wake up..open your eyes Shama..

She still doesn't open her eyes.

Rudra: remember when we met..remember when we came closer to each other...remember when I kissed you for the first time...when I came to your palace to win your love.

In between her nightmare..she started seeing the memories of Rudra..how he saved her life, how he confessed his love for her.

She loosen her grip and calmed down a bit but still remained unawake.

Rudra: when we get married,when we made love,when you got to know that you are pregnant.

Jwala becomes shocked watching his spell getting ineffective. Shambhavi calls down,she stopped screaming and her eyes got popped open. She gasps and looks at Rudra. Rudra becomes relieved but he was getting devastated to see her being suffered. She cries miserably and hugs him. He comforts her.

Rudra: its ok..i am here now...ssshhh...relax... I am sorry..i am not able to do anything..you are going through so much pain and I..i am so so sorry.

Jwala becomes infuriated watching his spell failed. He killed one of his men. He yells furiously.

Jwala: its impossible. My spell can't be failed. No one one can challenge my powers. That king..no matter how hard he try but be will never be able to save his wife...never..

She broke the hug and looks at him painfully and helplessly. He needed no words. He shook his head in no and kissed her forehead.he hugs her again, she sobs in his arms. His tears were falling on the top of her head. He calls Vaidya. He comes and applies medicines on her hands. Watching Rudra crying shambhavi smiles and tried to be strong. She signals him not to cry. She decided not to weak at any cost. She'll be strong for Rudra and for their baby no matter what happens to her. He applied bandage on her hands. Birju signals Rudra to come outside. He goes with him.

Rudra: what happen ?

Birju: i think you should inform Radha maa and Gopal baba..this is getting serious..to be very honest i don't think she is sick.

Rudra: what do you mean?

Birju: nothing just call them. I am sure they'll be able to help us.

Rudra: you are right but i don't know how are they gonna react. They'll be very angry coz i didn't inform them. The only reason i didn't tell them about her is because i don't want them to get worried.

Birju: i can understand but the situation is getting out of control. Even after so many months we couldn't find anything so its best to call them.

Rudra nods in yes and sent some soldiers to kalpi to bring them.

At night

Radha maa and Gopal reached the palace. Rudra becomes elated to see the. They bless him and before he could say anything Radha maa says..

Radha maa: what happen? Why did you called us so urgently? Is everything ok? Is shambhavi fine?

Rudra didn't say anything. Gopal asks birju and he tells them everything. They became shocked But at the same time they were hurt coz Rudra didn't inform them. Radha maa slaps Rudra angrily.

Radha maa: why didn't you called us before? Now i understand we are nothing to you..is it?

Rudra: no Radha maa its not like this..i just don't want you two to get worried.

Radha maa: where is shambhavi?

She is resting. Radha maa goes to meet her. Gopal pats on his shoulder and gives him a consoling look. She opens the door and was taken aback seeing shambhavi not because of her condition but because she knew the reason of her worsening health. She got horrified and instead of going inside she steps back and goes from there.she comes running and colapse with Rudra and Gopal. She looks at Gopal worriedly and he understood that something is terribly wrong coz never saw her so much freaked out. Rudra asks.

Rudra: what happened Radha maa?

Radha maa:shambhavi..she...why didn't you called me earlier? You should have called me sooner.

Rudra: why? what happened? Do you know what happen to her? Plz tell me i'll do anything to save her from,all these miseries.

Radha maa: you can't do anything untill you find the person who is doing all this.

Rudra: what do you mean? I don't understand.

Radha maa: she is under a spell. Some one is doing black magic on her.

Rudra becomes stunned hearing this. He looks at her in disbelief.

Rudra: black magic? But why would anyone do black magic on her? No I,don't believe.

Radha maa: you have to believe. You saw her. Deep,inside you also know thats its something else and not just sickness. The place from where we belong these things are very common and very dangerous. The moment I saw her I get know that she is in grave danger.

Rudra becomes numb hearing this. He didn't respond. He was unable to believe that someone could do black magic on. She has no enemy then who it could be.he goes in thinking mode.
