Chapter 25

Rudra was about to embrace her but shambhavi moves away. She wipes her tears and takes the plate from his hand. She said

Shambhavi: you are right. Everyone suffered because of me. Now I'll be no sadder. I'll not cry anymore. I hurt my parents, raunak and even you in my anger but not anymore. I will be the same shambhavi happy and cheerful. No more crying.

Rudra smiles hearing this.he was very happy that she decided to be happy again.he was about to go but shambhavi stops him

Shambhavi: thank you so much. you made me realize my mistake and sorry for my behavior.

Shambhu: its ok princess.

He smiles at her and she smiles back. he left from there with an expression of satisfaction. He was relieved that atlast he convinced her. When he told this about king and queen they became very happy and praised him a lot. he came in his room. Birju was there. He gives him food to eat and say.

Birju: I knew you will make her agree that's why I have already brought the food for you now eat and no excuses.

Rudra: ok, no excuses and besides I am hungry too why would I refuse

Both laugh and he eats happily. Meanwhile rananjay came back from his trip. This time he wasn't came alone.there was another man with him. He goes to meet vikramaditya but he wasn't very happy to know about the bodyguard but didn't say anything. Rudra comes there. Rananjay was watching him suspiciously. vikramaditya asks him about the man. Rananjay says

Rananjay: maharaj, this man helped me a lot. He is very intelligent. I am surprised to see his intelligence and bravery. I met him in our neighbor kingdom. He wanted to do some work so I brought him with me coz he doesn't want to live in that kingdom. His name is satyajeet.

Vikramaditya: well I have already appointed a man but if rananjay is saying then you can work here.

Shambhu and birju came. Rananjay makes a face seeing both of them and satyajeet to was looking at them in a weird way.vikramaditya introduces both of them to rananjay

Vikramaditya: rananjay you should give some work to birju too.

Rananjay looks at him disgustingly and with a fake smile agrees. He looks at rudra and says.

Rananjay: maharaj, princess is herself is a warrior. I don't think she needs a bodyguard. And besides I don't think he is fully capable of protecting princess. He only saved her once.

Vikramaditya was about to explain but shambhavi comes him and said.

Shambhavi: he is fully capable and only he is capable of being my bodyguard. Do you have any problem?

She looks at rananjay sternly who doesn't say anything. Satyajeet was continuously staring at her. He was watching her with lust but no one except rudra noticed him. His fist clenched, his anger was growing but he was controlling his anger.everyone went from there except shambhavi, rudra and satyajeet. Satyajeet was still looking at her. Shambhavi looks at him angrily and says

Shambhavi: do you have to say anything? If not then you can leave.

Satyajeet goes from there. Rudra looks at shambhavi with a surprised expression.

Shambhavi: I know what are you thinking but whatever I said today was true and I wasn't lying. You are my bodyguard and I won't allow anyone to insult my bodyguard.

She gives him a sweet smile and goes from there. Rudra too smiles when she left. Birju comes and says.

Birju: rudra don't you think that rananjay behaved weirdly and that man satyajeet I find him very very weird.

Rudra: hmm I know but right now shambhavi is more important to me.

In the night.

Shambhavi was sitting on a swing and was thinking about her meeting with rudra.shambhu come there. He asks

Shambhu: if you don't mind princess can I ask you something?

Shambhavi: yes sure

Shambhu: did you ever love someone?

Shambhavi looks at him strangely. She smiles and says

Shambhavi: love? I don't even know what is love then how can I love someone?

Shambhu: love, love is such a tender feeling we all feel in form or other.love is when you look into someone's eyes and see their heart.

Shambhavi remembers when she looked into rudra's eyes and said that she doesn't love him.

Shambhu: love doesn't always comeeasy.love Is overcoming obstacles,facing challenges,fighting to be together,holding on and never letting go and most of all love is all about trust. If there is no trust then there is no love.

Shambhavi was just listening to him quietly.

Shambhavi: wow you know so much about love. It looks like you too love someone.

Shambhu: yes I do.i love someone more than anything more than my life.

Shambhavi: then what are you doing here? You should be with the one you love.

Shambhu: I am with her

Shambhavi: what??

Shambhu: I mean she is in my heart. She stays with me all time. In my mind,my thoughts and my soul.

Shambhavi: she is very lucky to have you. You love her so much but not everyone is lucky as her.

She becomes sad. A man was hiding behind the nearby tree and was keeping an eye on them. Rudra realizes that someone is watching them he looks around but then ignored. Shambhavi gets up and started to leave but stops.she looks at shambhu and says

Shambhavi: I'll pray for you two. Hope you meet her soon. She too must be eager to meet you.

Shambhu: yes hopefully

Suddenly he saw that man behind the tree. He was going to attack shambhavi with the arrow. Shambhu shouts and pushed her aside but the arrow hits his arm. Shambhavi panicked seeing him. She ordered the soldiers to follow that man and catch him.

Shambhavi: shambhu are you ok?

Shambhu: I am fine princess don't worry.

Shambhavi: someone call vidyaji now.

Birju comes and takes him to his room. All were present in his room including king and queen.viadya ji applied medicine on his arm and wrapped it up with a bandage.

Vaidyaji: he is fine. There is Nothing to worry about.

He left from there.

Vikramaditya: another attack on shambhavi and that too in our palace.this is getting too much.rananjay i need to know who is doing all this as soon as possible and shambhu you take care.

Rananjay: of course maharaja I'll find that man as soon as possible.

He looks at shambhu and smirks. All left from there. Shambhavi looks at shambhu and she too went from there. When everyone left birju asks

Birju: rudra who was that man? Did you saw him?

Rudra: no, I didn't saw his face but I know one thing that he was an insider. With so much security no outsider can even think of entering the palace. I have to find him who he is.

Birju: you should rest now.

After an hour

Rudra was asleep but birju was awake to take care of him. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Birju gets up and opens the door. He was shocked.it was shambhavi.

Birju: princess you here, this time. Is everything fine?

Shambhavi: yes everything is fine I just came here to see shambhu.To check whether he is fine or not.

Birju: he just falls asleep and he is fine now.

She comes inside and watches him sleeping. He was shirtless. She noticed the wound mark on his chest. She remembers the same mark of wound on rudra's chest. She was shocked to see the similarity. She thinks how is it even possible but then she thinks it must be a co incidence. She gets up and was about to leave when suddenly she noticed a thing in his pocket. She goes towards him to take a better look. She was stunned to see that the thing was her anklet which she gave to rudra. She takes out the anklet and rudra awakes. He was equally shocked to see her. Shambhavi was looking him with disbelief. Birju saw all this and went from there.

Shambhavi: rudra, its you na. You are rudra.

Rudra gets up and says

Rudra: yes it's me rudra.

Shambhavi was speechless. She was unable to decide what to say. She was just looking at him.

Rudra: I wanted to tell that I am shambhu when I met you last time but I didn't get a chance. I know what you are feeling right now.

He tells her everything about her motive of coming videha. His conversation with his daimaa and baldev.shambhavi was just listening to him with tears in her eyes.she dropped the anklet and slowly walked away from there. Rudra too was in tears. He closed in eyes and says.

Rudra: you still don't believe me. Its not your fault it's my fault. Its my fault that I failed in proving my love for you. It's my fault coz I failed to convince you to trust me.i promise you'll never see me again. Tomorrow I'll go away from here.

Shambhavi comes in her room. She was standing in her room's balcony. She remembers all the moments spend with rudra but this time she was neither frustrated nor angry. She closed her eyes and thinks of his words.

"THERE IS NO LOVE WITHOUT TRUST"

A tear fell off from her eye and she smiles.
