Part - 31

Prem 'Ms.Heer, where is Sanjana?'

Heer is shocked 'Preemmm'.

Prem gave an angry look to Heer 'why are you calling me Prem. I'm your boss. Is this the way you call your boss?'

Heer with tears 'I'm your wife, Prem.'

Prem 'are you joking? I just proposed Sanjana and when we were returning, a car hit us from the back.'

Heer 'we are in India. Not in Canada. We got married before 2 years.'

Prem 'Ms. Heer, stop your nonsence. Call Sanjana.'

Heer ran outside and cried. Gaya3, Lalit and Preet came inside, while Megher stayed outside with Heer. 'Dad, why is Ms.Heer talking rubbish?'

Preet 'PB, she is Heer Bhabi, your wife.'

Prem interrupted 'you too become mad.'

Gaya3 sat next to him and caresseing his hair 'Perm she is your wife. Don't you remember her?'

Prem shouted 'Ma. What are you talking? I know her as my PS. You all become mad.' He shouted at them. Doctor came in. he sensed the situation. He gave him injection and called others to his room.

In Doctor room, 'did ever Mr. Prem met with an accident before?'

Heer with tears '2 years back, a week before we came to India. He and Sanjana met with an accident. Nothing happened to Sanjana. She left without informing. I received a call from Hospital. Prem was in hospital for oneday without conscious. I stayed with him during that time.'

Doctor 'may be he lost the memory. I can confirm the level of loss only after checking him.'

Doctor checked Prem. scan taken and the group of doctors discussed together.

Doctor called Juneja's inside his cabin. 'Mr. Lalit, I'm sorry your son has lost his memory. He forgot all the incidents, may be happened after that accident in Canada.' Everyone shocked. Heer thought 'Prem forgot me and Chahat. How can he forget me like this?'

Doctor 'His memory cells are not dead but damaged in the accident.' Heer shattered. She cried silently thinking her fate. 'I'm the most unlucky in this world. I always lose my happiness when it comes to me closer.'

Doctor 'there is a chance for him to regain his memory. But everything is in God's hand. Take him to his familiar places. Don't lose your faith.'

Heer cried aloud 'Prem won't remember me and Chahat. We came to his life after that.' she fell to the ground and cried 'I did the mistake. I should have died the day I left him. Prem should have happy now.' she started hitting her head with his hand. Megher ran to Heer and hugged her.

Gaya3 with tears and anger 'stop it Heer. Prem cannot forget you. You are his life. He lived thinking about you all these days. How can he forget his life?'

Heer 'He is asking for Sanjana.' Others shocked. Heer cried 'I lost everything.' Only Preet know the truth about Sanjana. He went to Heer 'Bhabi, don't worry.' He struggled with tears.

When Heer again went to Prem, he turned his face to other side. He refused to take anything from her hand. Heer with a smile 'think me as your PS.' Prem gave a satisfied look and ate from her hand. He couldn't remove his eyes from her lips. 'cute smile.'

Prem sleeping and Heer is sitting next to him. She is staring his face. Her heart felt heavy thinking 'what I'm going to do now? Soon Sanjana will land here and take my Prem away.'

She wiped her tears 'its better to leave Prem. he will be happy with Sanjana.' Her thought switched to the days she spent with Prem 'no. Prem cannot live happily with Sanjana. She is behind his money.' She got up and restlessly moved to the window. After thinking many events happened around Prem she decided 'I won't leave Prem at any situation. I'll bring Prem's memory back.' she thought Prem's word 'your smile bring my memory back.' she wiped her tears 'you cannot forget me Prem. I'm your life. Chahat is our shadow.' With confidence she thought 'I won't repeat the mistake again. I won't leave you alone.'

Prem opened his eyes and saw Heer standing near the window and staring outside. Heer quickly turned to him. She picked some medicine and gave to him. She helped him to sit on the bed. When her face came near to his face, his heart urged him to touch her. He finds himself hard to control his feeling towards her. He enjoyed her fingers on him.

He pulled her face close to his and cupped her face. sudden pull by him mad her weak. He touched her cheek with his palm. She closed her eyes. He nuzzled his nose on her cheek closing his eyes. he kissed her cheek. He pushed her face away and turned to other side. She got hurt but managed the situation thinking 'he may getting attracted to me.' she moved away to prepare a juice for him. He is confused about his move towards Heer.

In the night Prem struggled to sleep. Heer noticed his uncomfortable feeling. She sat next to him on the bed. She pulled his head on to her lap. Prem felt weak and couldn't protest. She stroked his hair gently. He slept within few seconds. she kissed his forehead. 'you didn't forget me. soon you will regain your memory.' she decided to allow him to go on his own way.

Prem woke up in the middle of the night and saw Heer still stroking his hair. He thought 'how is it possible for an unrelated girl to take care of me like this? There should be some relationship should exist between us.' he moved his head away form his lap. 'Ms. Heer, thanks. you take rest for sometime.' Heer nodded and moved to the couch in that room. Prem just stared at her face 'is she really my wife?'

Prem looked around the room. His eyes fell on the calendar hanging at a distance. He got shocked when he noticed the year. '2 year passed. What happened to during this 2 years. How Heer came to my life? She was my PS. But she always took care of me very well. She understood me very well even though its hardly one month of her entry as my PS. When did I came to India?' he felt a pain in his head and decided to wait for few more days to find mystery.

Lalit instructed everyone that they should not reveal the truth about Prem's memory loss to anybody. Prem too agreed as it will give a struggle in the business. As Heer is the only one who knows about the business so she helped Preet.

Prem returned home after few days in the hospital. He saw Megher standing with Chahat. 'Preet, your kid is so sweet.'

Preet 'PB, she is not my daughter.' Prem looked at him with a questioning face.

Preet 'your daughter, Chahat.' Chahat is happy to see her father after a long time and she jumped out of Megher and ran to Prem. 'pa pa' he climbed on to him. He picked her up in his hands. He kissed her cheek.

Prem 'when did I married Sanjana? Where is she?'

Preet 'you married Heer Bhabi not Sanjana.'

Prem dropped Chahat immediately down. He shouted 'why all of you are telling the same lie. She is my PS only. I love Sanjana only.' Chahat started crying. Heer with tears quickly grabbed Chahat and about to move away from that place. Prem started getting headache. Preet helped him to go to his room. Heer stood there with tears.

When Heer entered their room with Chahat, Prem is lying on the bed staring the roof. He quickly got up 'I don't want to share this room with you'. He walked out to next room. Prem walked to the adjusant room. Heer stood silently there.

After a while, Heer went to Prem room with food. He pushed the tray down and started blasting her.'Why are trying to snatch Sanjana's place? Where is Sanjana?'

Heer in calm voice 'she is in Canada.' Prem picked up the phone and dialled her number. He got busy message. He tried several times and got the same message. Prem in anger 'Ms. Heer, thanks for your help. You better leave the house. I don't want you help. I'll meet you in the office.'

Heer with tears 'where will I go? This is my house and you are my hus' Prem slapped her hard on her face. 'how dare you say that. You are not my wife.' Heer with tears ran out to her room.

Prem felt heaviness in his heart when he said 'you are not my wife.' He confused and hit his head 'what is happening around me? who will give the correct picture about my past?'

Heer packed her things. She came down with Chahat. Lalit, Gaya3, Preet and Megher shocked. Prem is sitting in the couch in the living room. Prem wanted to stop Heer as he felt emptiness in his heart when he saw her ready to move out of his life and the mansion forever.

Part - 32

Heer packed her things.she took all the memories she had with Prem. she looked at Chahat, who is siting on the bed. She is playing with Prem picture calling 'Papa.' Heer hugged her tightely 'you won't get your Papa's love anymore.' He took Prem picture from Chahat. She looked at the picture 'you won't find me again once I leave this house. We are leaving you forever.' He picked up chahat in one hand and took her belongings in another.

Heer came down with Chahat. Lalit, Gaya3, Preet and Megher shocked. Prem is sitting in the couch in the living room. Prem wanted to stop Heer as he felt emptiness in his heart when he saw her coming down. In his heart he said 'Heer, don't go away from me.' Chahat jumped out of Heer hand and ran to Prem. she climbed on to his lap.

Heer called Chahat to come. She shook her head and wrapped her hands around his neck. She kissed his cheek. Prem kissed her back. Heer again called Chahat. She increased her grib around Prem's neck. Prem too finds hard to move out of Chahat. He doesn't want to leave Chahat. He is confused about his feeling towards Chahat and Heer. Prem thought 'why I'm getting attached too much to this kid.'

Everyone noticed Prem's struggle, which is visble in his face. Lalit looked at Preet. Preet nodded sensing Lalit's plan. Lalit knows that now Chahat is the only person who can bring Prem's memory back. He fell down holding his chest. Heer dropped her suitcase and ran to him. 'Dad'. Everyone rushed to Lalit. Preet picked up Lalit to his room.

Lalit in pain 'Heer. Don't go.' Lalit continue to whisper.

Preet came to Prem. 'PB, don't get angry. I want to tell you something. Dad sake you have listen to me.' Prem nodded. Preet continued 'Dad is very much attached to Heer Bhabi and Chahat. Please let them stay here for Dad.' Prem agreed 'but I don't I want her to interfere in my personal matters.' Preet agreed giving a pleading look to Heer. Heer is happy that Chahat's presence will help Prem to get his memory back.

In the night, Heer again went to Prem room give him medicine. Prem is about to open his mouth to shout.

Heer interrupted 'this house has many servants. Think me as one.' She handed the medicine to him. His heart felt heavy when she said 'servant'. Without a word he gulped the medicine. He helped him to lay down properly on the bed and covered him with blanket. She 'Good night.' she switched off the light and closed the door behind. He just stared the door.

Prem is rolling on the bed. He is not able to sleep. Till he was in the hospital, he slept on Heer's lap. He wanted to keep his head on her lap. He confused 'why I'm always wants to feel her touch?' He got up from the bed and walked to the window. '2 years. What happed in this 2 years? Did I married Heer? Is Chahat my daughter.' his head started spinning in confusion. He held his head.

Heer came in and saw Prem standing near the window holding his head. She quickly helped him to lay down on the bed. He kept his head on her lap and he slept peacefully. She kept him properly on the bed and left the room silently.

Next morning, Prem opened his eyes and searched for Heer but she is not there. He saw his kurta ready on the bed. He picked up his dress and went to washroom.

Heer went to Prem room to check him up. He is not in his bed. She heard a noise from the washroom. She slowly pushed the door open. She saw Prem sitting on the floor and vomiting. He don't have strength to stand on his knees. His dress all wet. She quickly went in and cleaned him. She wrapped her hand around his shoulder and helped him to sit on the bed. She quickly closed the door and changed his dress. He felt a pleasant feeling when her fingers touched his body. He is trying hard to hold his feeling even in his current state. She went down to get drink for him.

Prem staring at the door. He is confused about his feeling towards Heer. Heer came back with glass of juice for him. he didn't respond when she handed the glass to him. she held the glass near his mouth. He drank without any hesitation. She kept the glass down 'you take rest for sometime.' she turned to leave.

He held her wrist. She turned to him and he pulled her down to sit next to him. She sat on the bed 'do you want anything?' he nodded. Heer 'what you' he pulled her face closer to him and by keeping his hand behind her head and rubbed his lips on hers. She closed her eyes. He pushed her away. Heer disappointed but walked away silently. He touched his lips with his fingers 'she is so sweet' and smiled.

Sanjana is surprised to see many missed calls from Prem. she is happy when Prem told her to come to India. Sanjana came to Juneja mansion to stay. She jumped towards Prem and hugged him. He didn't like the way she kissed her. Prem noticed a difference in his feeling for her. 'why I'm not at all getting any attraction towards Sanjana?'

Heer face changed when she saw Sanjana hugging Prem. she quickly moved away from there. Heer hopes about Prem's regaining memory vanished when Sanjana entered the house as his girlfriend.

Sanjana held his hand tightely and gave a cheep smile to Heer. Suddenly she sensed Prem pushing away her hand from his. Prem bent down to pick up who is standing in front of him with stretched arms. Prem picked her up and kissed her cheek. 'Say halo to aunty'. Chahat turned to other side and pointed him to take her to other direction.

Sanjana is angry on Chahat for pushing her away. 'what is your name?' she kept her hand on Prem's shoulder. Chahat pushed her hand away and laughed. Sanjana thought she is playing but when Sanjana again kept the hand on his shoulder, Chahat pushed her hand again and gave an angry look. Prem proudly 'Chahat, loving child.' he took her to the table. Sanjana had no other option and followed thinking 'she is not a loving child. Danger signal to me.'

Prem 'Ms. Heer, help Sanjana to settle in this house.' others got angry. Gaya3 gave a angry look to Sanjana and moved away. Heer came with a smile 'Ms. Sanjana come with me.' Heer showed her the room which is downstairs.

Sanjana clapped in front of Heer, when she turned to leave the room 'poor Anjali, you challenged me. Now, the fate is pushing you out of his life. You are acting as Heer but Prem don't even remember anything about Heer.' She laughed. Heer with tears moved out without a word.

Sanjana tried to hang around Prem, since he is alone in the house. Heer and Preet left to office. Megher is busy in the kitchen. Chahat is always sticking with Prem. Gaya3 is taking care of Lalit and breaking her head to send Sanjana out. Lalit told Gaya3 and Megher to keep an eye on Prem, so that he won't fall into Sanjana's trap.

Sanjana came to Prem who is lost in his thoughts. Chahat is sitting on his lap and playing with his hand. Prem came to world hearing 'Papa.' Prem started playing with Chahat. Sanjana sat next to them at a distance fearing Chahat will push her away again. Prem asked Sanjana 'why you left me?'

Sanjana 'I didn't leave you. You came to India with Heer for a business trip. But your family thought she is you wife. They chased me out. Heer stayed here with you. Oneday, she suddenly dissappeard. Everyone thought she is dead. But after 20 months he came back to you with this kid. You don't have any other option and allowed her to stay with you for your father.'

Prem believed her words. Sanjana is happy. 'I'm happy Prem.' she moved closer to him. She placed her hands on his shoulder and about to lean on his shoulder. He felt uncomfortable by her touch on him. He gently pushed her away 'Sanjana, I'm feeling tired. Please leave me alone for sometime.' Sanjana is angry but want to play carefully this time. She sensed the Prem's confusion about Heer is good sign for her. She moved out of the room. Prem slept hugging Chahat.

In the night, Prem is staring the roof and thinking about Sanjana's statement about Heer. 'but I didn't feel for Sanjana the same way I'm feeling for Heer.' Heer came in with medicine. When she adjusted pillow under his head by holding his head, his face touched hers. He grabbed her waist by his hand and pushed her on to the bed. He rolled over her. He started kissing her on her throat lovingly. She didn't protest. Her fingers are caressing his hair. Suddenly he pushed her away. She is upset. She got up and covered him with a blanket and moved out without a word.

In the morning when Prem woke up he saw his dresses are ready on the other edge of his bed. He got up took a fresh shower and wore the dress. He went down to breakfast. Heer is busy with Chahat. Others are concentrating on their breakfast. Chahat is the first one to jump out of Heer's lap and ran to Prem. Prem picked her up and kissed her cheek. She kissed him back on his cheek. He fed her as he ate. Heer watched with tears. She quickly moved away to kitchen to avoid conflict with Prem.

Prem and Sanjana were chatting in the breakfast table. Others didn't give any attention to their talk. Sanjana is not happy about Chahat and Prem's relationship.'Prem, I like to go out with you that will give you some freshness.' Prem agreed. Sanjana gave victory look to Heer as Prem gives importance to her.

Prem and Sanjana got ready to go out for lunch. Prem is waiting for Sanjana to come. Chahat is as usual playing with Prem. Sanjana came and called Prem. Prem got up to leave. Chahat 'Papa'. He picked her up. 'I'll be back in few hours. you go and play with Chachi.' He kissed her cheek. She wrapped her hands around his neck and kept her head on his shoulder. Her eyes started shedding tears. Prem felt weak when he saw her tears. 'Chahat Beta' he wiped her tears. 'okay, I'll take you with me. come.' He stepped forward to move out.

Sanjana threw her purse on the couch. Prem looked at her with a shock. 'Sanjana, come we will go.'

Sanjana in anger 'we are going out after a long time. You want this devil to accompany us.'

Prem got angry 'how dare you call a kid as devil? You spoiled my mood and I'm not coming out now.' he went to his room with chahat. Sanjana with anger went to her room. Megher and Gaya3 watching this from the kitchen happy and gave a victory smile.

Part - 34

Sanjana started brainwash Prem that Chahat is not his daughter. 'Prem, Heer came back to you after 20 months with a one year kid. How can we believe that Chahat is your daughter?'

Prem gave a confusiong look to her 'you only said I lived with her.'

Sanjana 'you lived with her for your father. But you never accepted her as your wife. Then how it is possible for Heer to deliver your child?'

Prem 'she says so.'

Sanjana 'we met even after you strated living with Heer. But you never told anything good about Heer presence with you. You are always annoyed and wanted to stay with me.'

Prem started beleiving her statement. Sanjan saw his face believing her words 'you never cross your limits. You never try to touch me even after we fall in love with each other.'

Prem is confused thinking 'I'm getting attracted to Heer than Sanjana. I kissed Heer many times after losing my memory.'

Sanjana didn't notice his face change 'Prem, Heer is planning to take your property through Chahat. So we have to prove that Chahat is not your daughter.' She urged Prem to do DNA test thinking 'Heer will not accept for this because she is Anjali not Heer. Now her true identity will come to light'. Sanjana satisfied about her work and left him alone to think.

She walked away from him thinking 'he completely believes me. Anjali, your days are counted in this mansion.'

Prem alone and thinking Sanjana's statement. 'I'm not a guy going behind girls. But I always got attracted towards Heer. Whenever I touch Chahat, I feel a fatherly love towards her.' he couldn't find any proof for Sanjana's statement that he always stayed away from Heer. 'Not even for a second I missed thinking about Heer. I took every opportunity to spend time with Chahat.'

He went to window 'Chahat is too much attached with me. How it is possible for a less than two year old kid to act? Unless she is familiar with me she cannot stick to me like this.'

Prem thought went to court scene 'she cried like a baby. How much she expected me to change my words. She didn't tell anything but her face showed everthing.'

After a long struggle, Prem finally came to conclusion 'may be this will help to get some clue about Heer and Chahat. I'll be happy if Chahat is my daughter.'

Next morning, Prem declared his decision during breakfast. Prem with fear 'Dad, I have decided to go for DNA test to find whether Chahat is my daughter or not.' Heer shocked. Sanjana gave a victory smile, which gave Heer a clear indication that she is behind Prem's decision.

Lalit in anger 'is your brain dead? How can a leading businessman Mr. Prem Juneja think like this?'

Prem calmly 'Dad, just to clarify the doubt.'

Gaya3 'what doubt? we all are telling that Chahat is your daughter and Heer is your wife. You are not believing us.' she threw an angry look to Sanjana. 'you are giving importance to stupid people.'

Prem 'this will help that stupid people to close the chapter, if Chahat is my daughter.' Sanjana got angry for Prem mentioning her as stupid indirectly. Heer is almost in tears thinking 'Prem suspects my character.' She didn't look up. She just stared down at her plate.

Preet 'PB, you are the one who introduced Bhabi and Chahat to us. Now you are suspecting Bhabi.'

Prem noticed tears in Heer's eyes. He quickly 'when did I say I'm suspecting Heer. May be it will be useful in the future.'

Sanjana thought 'you go for DNA test first, rest I'll take care. Do you think I'm stupid?'

Gaya3 'what is the need for DNA test now?'

Heer is silent all thorugh their conversation 'Dad, I have no objection.' Sanjana is the one who got surprised. She thought 'Boldly she is accepting. This means she is planning to change the report.' She smiled 'Heer I won't allow you to win over me this time.'

Prem felt sad for making Heer upset. 'Heer, I'm not.'

Heer stood up 'its okay Prem. I can understand your feeling. I'll be ready with Chahat. When do you want to go to the hospital?' she didn't look anyone.

Prem with heavy heart 'now.' Heer thought 'this will prove Prem that we are his life.'

Chahat is happy that she is going out with her dad. She jumped to him. Prem picked her up 'Papa is taking you out today.' He kissed her cheek lovingly.

Preet angrily 'PB, you are telling her to call you papa but you have doubt. What's all this?' Prem didn't give any reply. Sanjana watching this with a victory smile. Heer came down wearing a green salwar. Prem thought 'everything suits her very well. She looks cute.' But sadness in her face gave him pain.

Sanjana too accompanied them, which gave a Prem little bit uncomfortable. He thought he can talk to Heer on the way to hospital. But now Sanjana will not allow them to talk freely.

Prem and Heer moved out with Chahat and rest of the Juneja's dispersed to their room with unhappiness. Sanjana sat in the front passenger seat. Heer got into back seat with Chahat behind Prem. Prem looking Heer through the mirror didn't fail to notice her eyes, which is filled with tears. she is quiet. Chahat is talking on her own pointing outside. She is tapping Prem's shoulder inbetween and calling him 'papa' and pointing something. Prem shakes his to her talks and smiles. Sanjana try to distract Prem's baby conversation with Chahat. 'Prem, after going to Hospital.'

Prem interrupted 'Sanjana, will you please be quiet for sometime.' Sanjana is angry but she wanted to play carefully. So she kept herself quiet.

Prem parked the vehicle inside Hospital campus. Sanjana quickly jumped out happily. Prem opened the door for Heer to come out. She didn't move. He calmly called 'Heer'. She looked up. Chahat stretched her hand out to Prem. Prem picked her up in his hands. 'Heer, come.'

Heer with a breaking voice 'you go with Chahat. I'll wait for you in the car.'

Prem can understand her feelings. He nodded. He went in with Chahat. Sanjana followed them. Heer shed all her tears out. She was holding it for a longer time. Her mind is blank 'why Prem? Why are you suspecting me?' this is the only question travels in her mind.

Inside the hospital Prem met a doctor 'Doctor, for some legal procdure I need to produce DNA result of my daughter.' Doctor agreed and pointed him to proceed for the DNA test. Sanjana is little bit sad about the way Prem said the reason. On the way to the lab, Sanjana slowly asked 'Prem, why you didn't say the actual reason behind?' Prem gave her a angry look. Sanjana quickly kept her mouth shut murmuring to herself 'he is suspicious creature.'

A Nurse took blood from Prem. When the nurse took blood sample from Chahat, she cried. Prem comforted her and kissed her cheek 'is it paining? Papa will give nurse aunty a nice beating later for hurting you.' she smiled and leaned on to his shoulder. Nurse smiled seeing their affection.

Prem 'when will I get the report?'

Nurse 't'row morning.' Prem thanked her and moved out with Chahat.

Heer saw them coming back. She quickly wiped her face. Prem opened the door and handed Chahat to her. He noticed her swollen face.Prem and Heer were quiet and Chahat fell asleep. Sanjana is humming a song. Prem got irritated and looked angrily at her twice. She kept quiet.

Heer walked away with Chahat quietly, when they reached mansion. She didn't talk to anybody. She quickly went to office. she thought 'that will help her to come out of this shock.'

Prem on the other hand felt bad for hurting Heer. Lalit and Gaya3 didn't talk to him. They stayed inside their room.

Prem came down and saw Chahat playing with Megher. Chahat ran to Prem. He sat keeping her on his lap. She showed him a doll and talking to Prem. Megher watching this 'Bhaiya, you love Chahat more than anyone. But why you did like this?'

Prem calmly 'everything will be for good.' Prem took Chahat in his hand walked out to garden. Megher stood there confused looking him walking away.

In the evening, Heer is arranging Prem shirts in his closet. Prem came inside 'Heer, where is Chahat?'

Heer is still busy arranging his cloths. 'Ma and Megher are gone to temple with Chahat. Preet has taken Dad to hospital for check up. And' she pressed 'your girlfriend Sanjana is gone to meet her friend.' she closed the closet 'do you want any more details Mr. Prem.'

Prem clenched his fist in anger without his conscious but calmly 'so we are alone here now.'

Heer turned to him 'no. you are alone. I came here to keep your shirts.' She turned to leave the room. He closed the room door and blocked her way. Heer moved backward. He stepped forward.

Heer looked down 'I have some work. Will you please excuse me?' she is about to move sideways. Prem grabbed her waist and made her look into his eyes. He pushed her down on the bed and fall flat on her top. She tried to get up. 'Preemmm. What are you doing?' she tried to push him away 'Prem, please leave me.'

Prem 'angry on me?' he moved his face closer to hers. She didn't reply but tears slipped out of her eyes. Prem felt sad 'Heer, I didn't mean to hurt you. Just to give my mind that Chahat is my daughter.'

Heer 'for that you needed DNA test. Can't you hear you inner heart, which you always did?'

Prem 'I don't remember a single second spend with you. This may help me to think forward.'
