Okay I know I am super duper late on this but here it is...

Chapter 39

Geet came out of the shower drying her hair with a towel smiling. She was glad to be back home where she belonged...she saw Maan sleeping peacefully on the bed with a smile...she goes near him with a smirk...she bring her wet hair to the front that was still dripping some water...she slightly sits on the bed while looking at him..she leans toward him with a smile...she takes her hair and sprinkles water on his face forcing him to wake up. She moves back as soon as Maan opened his eyes..

Maan: Geet you...(he sits on the bed reaching his arms out to catch her but Geet was prepared. She quickly got up running toward the door sticking her tongue out at him...) I will get you Geet

Geet: good luck! (she closes the door on his face...Madhuri saw Geet smiling while she came down with anger. "She is happy that she ruined my home? Well I won't let that smile last for long on her face...Dev sat across from Madhuri waiting for Geet as well. Last night he didn't get any sleeping just thinking about her..her face kept coming in front of his eyes...he won't rest until she become his whether she likes it or not...he looks at her from top to bottom as she came down the stairs. She was wearing a smile yellow sari..anything on her looks nice...)

Madhuri: Geet beta..(Geet smiles and touches her feet..) good morning beta...

Geet: Good morning mom

Madhuri: uhh Geet I hope you have forgiven me for everything that I have done...I feel really bad.

Geet (puts her hand on top of her assuring her...) don't worry mom I forgot everything..I am just happy that Maan is back home again with his family. I was feelings so guilty that he had to leave his home because of me

Madhuri: hmm its okay beta..I am glad that he is back as well...so beta tell me did you both start your relationship as husband and wife? (Geet blushes hearing her ask that question...Dev became angry seeing her blush..."No it can't be...she is mine..how dare he do that to my Geet...he gets up thinking about his another plan)

Geet: uhh mom I will go make breakfast..(she quickly leaves avoiding the question that Madhuri asked...)

Maan quickly got off the bed to get ready. He wanted to see Geet before he would be forced to go to the office with his dad but first he had to take his revenge but how? He smiles when he thought of something...Geet was so busy setting up the table that she didn't notice Maan coming down the stairs. He looked around to see if anyone was around..when finding no one he quietly goes behind her hugging her..she jumps when she felt someone hugging her..she knew who it was from his touch..she looks around to see if anyone was around..

Geet: Maan let go..anyone will come

Maan: nope you woke me up today in the morning now I need to get my revenge

Geet: Maan that was a joke please let me go...anyone will come...what will Dadima think?

Maan: Fine i will let you go but that doesn't mean am done...I will get my revenge..

Geet: I liked you better as a bramachari...at least that way you stayed away from me...

Maan: you are the one that wanted me to change...(he winks at her) remember the times you would kiss me..(she blushes) kiss me like that now

Geet: No...not now..later

Maan: when?

Geet: umm at night...not now...

Maan: nope I want it before I go to the office...

"Are Maan beta you are here already?" (Both turn around to see Dadima standing there...)

Maan: Hi Dadima yeah I am ready to go to the office...where is papa?

Dadima; he will be down..until he comes lets eat

Soon everyone joined Dadima and Maan for breakfast while Geet served. Maan kept looking at Geet signaling her for his kiss but she kept shaking her head no ignoring him...Dev and Madhuri both saw the silent interaction between the both...Ronit and Dadima couldn't be happier to get their daughter-in-law back where she belonged. After the breakfast was over..Maan looks at Geet signaling here...but she kept her head down pretending to eat...

Ronit: Maan lets go

Maan (looks at Geet one more time...) huh umm lets go dad...by Dadima..(he gives her a side hug while looking at Geet who kept ignoring him...he looks at his mom and gives her a kiss on the cheek) by mom...(he still looked her way...he becomes mad..) okay bye...(Geet gives him a sorry look but he ignores her and leaves with Ronit...Geet also gets up to go after Maan to apologize when Madhuri stops her)

Madhuri: Geet beta could you do me a favor...aahh my head is killing me...

Dadima (looks at her worried) what happened beta?

Madhuri: i don't know its starting to give me a headache...Geet please can you message me

Geet (smiles) sure mom...(Madhuri smiles at her...Geet helps her to her room to give her a message...)

After an hour Geet came to her room..she dialed Maan's cell number...Maan was in his office angry at Geet for not giving him what he wanted...he thought she would call the minute he left but no...he sat there looking at his phone hoping she would call ignoring everything...he got happy when he finally saw her phone call come in..he quickly holds the phone in his hand and was about to answer it when he stopped..

"No I won't answer her phone...she made me wait now I will make her wait..." (he smiles but then frowns) "wait what if she doesn't call me back...no no she won't do that..she will call me back...I will pick up after she calls again..yeah two rings should be enough..." He disconnects the phone call with a smirk...he leans back on the chair looking at the phone.."she will call back again..." Sure enough she did...Maan takes the phone and again disconnects the phone call..."okay now I will pick up the phone after she calls back..."

Geet dialed Maan's phone with frustration..."come on Maan pick up..." She called two times and each time he hung up the phone on her...'Maan come on am sorry..." She was about to dial again when her phone rang...she smiles...

"Maam am sorry..."

"hello Geet..." She froze..it was the same caller again..."What happened? Not too happy to hear from me?"

Geet: Who are you?

"Ohh Geet..you will know soon..but first lets catch up..tell me did you miss me? I know you are probably mad at me for not contacting you before but its okay I won't do it anymore..."

Geet: Listen you I am not afraid of you

"Good and you shouldn't be after all both of us are meant to be together."

Geet: I am meant to be with Maan...he won't spare you

(laughs) "ohh right..Maan..he is the only one between us...I will take care of him...this time I will make sure he is not alive after he gets into an accident..."

Geet (was shocked) what do you mean?

"I was the one that got him into the accident but to my bad luck he survived but not anymore...this time i will succeed"

Geet (had tears in her eyes) listen if you do anything

"Sorry Geet I wish I can talk for long but don't worry I will call again...by the way you look very nice in yellow sari..." (He hangs up the phone..Geet turns around the room to see if anyone was inside..she slowly walks toward the window with fear..her hands were shaking...)

Dev opens her door a little and smiles..."I love you Geet...now you will be in front of me forever..."

Maan was in his office angry..."she didn't call me back...fine then I won't talk to her either..." He turns his phone off in anger..Geet calls Maan back with tears but his phone was turned off...she then dials Ronit's phone number...

Ronit: hello Geet beta

Geet: papa woh he called again...he could see me...(she cries)

Ronit: What!! Geet we will be home now..(he quickly goes to Maan's office..)

Maan: papa what happened

Ronit; that guy called Geet again...she is scared..we gotta go home now..

Geet sat in the corner looking around..whenever she heard some noises she would look at that directions...Maan quickly ran upstairs opening the door..he saw Geet sitting in the corner holding her knees tightly while crying. As soon as she saw him she ran to hug him tight...

Maan (pats her back) sssh Geet..am here now

Geet (looks at him) woh he called..he could see me..(she looks around in fear..she was afraid to go near any window...Maan looks at her helpless...he makes her lie down on the bed..)

Maan: Sshh Geet no one is here..am with you now..no one can near you...(she holds his hand tightly)

Geet: don't leave me..he is here...

Maan: no one is here...(He sees Ronit standing there...) Geet I am right outside..we are going to check the house okay...

Geet: Don't leave me alone here..

Maan: Dadima will sit with you...(Ronit leaves to get Dadima...Maan kisses her cheek) sshh...no one can dare to come here...(As soon as Dadima comes Maan leaves with Ronit..Geet puts her head on Dadima's lap)

Maan and Ronit goes to the study room. .

Ronit: I want to have phones tapped..any phone calls including that of the household members to be tracked.

Maan: Why do you need to track our numbers?

Ronit: whoever he is, he is very smart...if he could see Geet then am sure he would have a way to get our cell phones...I am not taking any chances..

Maan: hmmm you are right..I wonder who that can be..I want to catch him as soon as possible

Ronit: Don't worry we will...(he dials the inspector's phone number telling them the new information...)

Maan: Dad you handle this I am going to be with Geet

Ronit: hmm okay...

Madhuri who was listening to their conversation smirked..."she was happy that Geet was being tortured by someone other then her...Good she will know the pain I went through as well...I must find who the person is..." She puts on a sad face as soon as Maan comes out the door.

Madhuri: Maan beta what happened? what is this am hearing that someone is calling Geet stalking her?

Maan: Yes mom. I don't know who that is but I will catch him whoever he is and make him pay for everything!

Madhuri: hmm hopefully there is no more problems with Geet...ever since she came...

Maan: mom lets not start that again...there is nothing wrong with Geet..its not her fault

Madhuri (laughs) I know beta...I was just saying that hopefully she doesn't have to go through a lot now

Maan: Yeah I know.. (he leaves from there)

It was night now, Maan stayed next to Geet all afternoon. He tried feeding her or even tried making her laugh but nothing seemed to work. She was just in her own little world. She had her head on his chest while her arms tightly wrapped around his waist. Maan kept patting her back to sooth her down.

Maan: Geet do you want to talk about it? (Geet shakes her head no) Geet you will feel better...talk to me

Geet (looks at him) He said that he was the one that caused your accident...he has been following us for a long time Maan..I am scared what else he can do to hurt others...he uhh (she chokes) he uhh said that you will not survive again...(she hugs him tight) I can't loose you Maan...you are my everything..

Maan; Nothing will happen to me Geet..as long as you are with me...as long as we have each other nothing will happen to the both of us...

Geet: Don't go to the office anymore...I can't loose you

Maan: okay if that makes you happy..I will be with you always...now go to sleep Geet...(he was about to turn off the lights when her phone rang...she looks at it with fear...Maan picks it up...) hello!

"So you are with her..she is mine.." (Maan listened to the disoriented voice..)

Maan: listen you! Why don't you come in front of me? Face me like a real man

(laughs) a man and you? (he laughs again..) you are a bramachari..a guy like you don't deserve Geet..she is only mine!

Maan: However I am I belong to Geet...she is only mine and belongs to me not you!

"Not for long...I am closer to her then you think..tell her she doesn't have to be scared anymore." (he hangs up the phone)

Geet (sits on the bed hugging him from behind) what did he say?

Maan: nothing..I scared him off...(he hugs her...) Lets sleep huh

Geet: okay...(soon enough Geet drifts to sleep while Maan thought about who could that be...)
