Chapter 35

Geet woke up with a smile.she saw Maan sleeping near her..she looks at his sleeping self...she balances herself on one elbow as she traces his face with her one finger...she saw Maan's face relax a little as soon as she touched him...she bends down and gives him a kiss on the cheek..

Maan smiles...while still in his sleep he brings his hand up to touch her but Geet moves away...Maan again tries the same thing but again Geet moves away holding her laughter in...Maan slowly opens his eyes and looks at her with irritation...Geet smiles...Maan reaches for her again but again Geet moves back until she finds herself on the floor..Maan leans closer to the edge and laughs at her

Geet (looks at him with anger) its not funny..help me up

Maan: Why do you always have to fight with me?

Geet: because its fun

Maan; Then I guess its fun for me to see you like this

he laughs and lies back on the bed with his arms behind his head..Geet gets up wrapping the sheet around her body..Maan looks at her...she tried to push Maan away since he was on her side but Maan did not budge...she looks at him with anger...

Geet: Maan move..that is my side

Maan: Nope..this is my side now...go on the other side...(Geet stomps her feet and goes to the other side but before she could sit down Maan puts his leg in the middle blocking her...)

Geet: Maan...

Maan: what did I do? I am just lying here...

Geet: Fine...(she walks away and stops in front of the bed...she looks at him with a smirk..."you will regret this monkey..." she runs back and then charges toward Maan..she jumps on him with full force making him scream...she claims her side of the bed with victory..)

Maan: you chudail...

Geet: ha that is what you get! (she laughs)

Maan: Okay then watch what I do

he removes her sheet and gets on top of her...Geet stops laughing and looks at Maan...he smirks...he kisses her neck followed by a bite..she moans...she puts her hands on his chest to push him away but he holds her hands and brings them above her head...

Geet: Maan..what are you

Maan: What you got scared?

Geet: Am never scared...

Maan: Really? hmm lets see...(he sees a shirt on the floor...he picks it and ties her hands on the head board...) Are you scared now? (she shakes her head no...he covers her eyes with a dupatta) how about now? (he whispers near her right near..she again shakes her head no...) Okay...let see if you are now

He turns her head the other way so that her left side of the neck was visible...he sucks on her neck and in between biting her hard enough until she screams in pain..after he kisses her lightly soothing her pain away...

his hands slowly wanders down her neck toward her chest..he stops right on top of her curves..making her moan and gasps in pain as he rubs them harshly...he kisses both her curves latching on them like a hungry man

"Do you like that Geet?" (she nodes her head yes) "You drive me crazy you know that?"

she smiles and nodes her head yes...suddenly she felt his weight lift off of her...since her eyes were blindfolded she couldn't see him...she knew that he was in the room..she could feel him looking at her naked self..she blushes and moves her hands around to loosen the hold...she was feeling shy and wanted to cover up...she heard his footsteps going around the bed...she moves her head the same direction as his footsteps...she heard him chuckle

"looks like someone is scared..."

"No am not..."

Then everything went quiet..she didn't hear Maan, his footsteps or him laughing...she turned her head back and fourth trying to sense him, trying to see if she could feel his presence or even hear him but nothing..."Maan...Maan" She waited couple of seconds to hear his voice but nothing...not even a tiny sound came..."Maan? where are you? Okay am scared...Maan..."

She stops when she felt light feather like kisses on her stomach...she knew it was Maan's...he moves his way up to her lips..he pecks her on her lips before he opens her hands..she hugs him tight..."don't do that again...I got so scared..."

Maan: I won't...I just wanted to see if you would really miss me

Geet; You are my life..without am incomplete...Maan can you open my eyes now? (Maan smiles and removes her blindfold...she looks at him and hugs him tight...Maan turns her over so that she was on top of him...she holds him tight around his waist as she listens to his heartbeat...Maan hugs her back as both fall asleep again for couple of hours...)

Geet woke up later around 12pm..she quickly gets off the bed when she didn't see Maan...she calls his name and relaxes when she heard him respond back from the bathroom...

"I have your lunch ready outside...you can have it if you want..."

Geet; NO I will wait for you..come out soon...

"okay..."

Geet gets off the bed and wears her home clothes as she begins to clean the room..she blushes as she sees all their clothing's scattered everywhere on the floor...after she cleans the room...she goes outside to set the table for both of them..she heard the phone ring..smiling knowing it must be papa calling her..she runs toward the phone..

Geet: hello papa

"I love you Geet.." (her smile vanishes when she heard someone else on the other side of the line...)

Geet; who is this? How do you know my name?

"I know everything about you...I love you! I left something out on your door..hope you will like it...will call later"

He hangs up the phone before Geet could say anything...she puts the phone down and goes toward the door..she opens the door and saw a flower basket with a package inside..she brings it inside the house locking the door..Maan comes out and saw her holding the package..he walks toward her confused

Maan: who gave this?

Geet: I don't know..someone called and said I love you Geet and that he left a package out on the door...Maan I am scared..I don't know who he is

Maan: Its okay maybe its a prank by dad...you know how he can be sometimes...

Geet; no it wasn't dad...it wasn't his voice...

Maan sees a note on the flower basket...

"Dear Geet.."

"A beautiful present for a beautiful girl..I hope you like your present...I love you Geet..."

Geet drops the basket on the floor and looks at him with tears..Maan bends down and opens the package..it was a red sari with black sequences...he holds it in front of her..Geet hugs him tight...Maan hugs her back

Maan: Geet don't worry am sure its a prank...I am going to ask dad if he knows anything about this...(she nodes her head yes...he picks her up and brings her toward the dining table...) Now lets eat and not worry about it..am sure dad will help us (he picks up some food and brings it toward her mouth..she quietly opens her mouth as Maan feeds her..)

Geet: what if this is not a joke? I am scared Maan

Maan: Only I have the rights to scare you...no one else! I will find out the answers..don't worry (he smiles...she smiles back...both fed each other for lunch...) Geet why don't you freshen up..

Geet; NO I will clean up this mess

Maan: Geet..go...I will do this and besides I want you to know you didn't marry a useless person (he laughs..she goes inside the bedroom to freshen up..Maan calls the security guard outside the building...) Hello..someone just delivered a flower basket to our apartment..do you know who it was?

SG: No sir...but the person that was carrying the basket signed in...you can check the name if you want

Maan: hmm okay I will be there now...(he quickly leaves the apartment locking the door...he goes downstairs...he wanted to know who this person was...of if this was all a joke..and if so by whom?..he goes to the security guard, he hands him the sign in chart...he looks at the name with confusion...he had no idea who this person was..) Do you know how he looked like? Or if he was wearing something that stood out?

SG: No sir..he said that someone told him to deliver the flowers to your apartment..that is it...

Maan nodes his head and leaves for his apartment...he takes out his cell phone to call his dad..he tells Ronit everything and even he was shocked..he promised Maan that he would find out the person or if this was a joke...Maan hangs up the phone just outside the apartment..he goes inside the apartment to find Geet hugging him tightly with tears...he hugs her back...

Maan: What happened Geet?

Geet; I didn't see you when I came out of the bathroom..I got scared...don't leave me alone again

Maan: Don't worry Geet..I called dad and he said that he did this joke...(Geet looks at him shocked...Maan smiles..) Yeah he said that he told someone to call..

Geet: Are you being serious? Or lying to me?

Maan: I am serious Geet...you can call him if you don't believe me..(he hands her the phone..she puts it down...Maan sighs.he didn't want to lie to her but he had to until he finds out the truth himself...)

Geet; No its okay..I believe you (she hugs him again...)

Maan: Lets go out today..spend the whole day

Geet; yeah I will like that...

Maan and Geet laughed as they both sat together on the grass having a picnic...Maan had his head on her lap as Geet fed him grapes while they talked...

Geet: You know Maan..I love the outdoor place...my friends and I would often have picnics or fun activities outside...I had a lot of fun when I was in college

Maan; Friends? How come I haven't met them?

Geet: Well they came to the wedding but after that didn't really get a chance to call or hang out

Maan: hmmm well have them come over..I would love to meet them

Geet; okay..I will call them up and let them know...what about you?

Maan: me? Don't really have friends..have been a loner...until now..(he winks at her) You really changed my life Geet...I don't know how I can ever thank you for that...

Geet; Then don't..am luck to have you in my life Maan...(he sits up...and looks at her..he brings her closer...)

Maan; Ohh really? well then let me show you how lucky I am..

He comes closer to her to give her a kiss..Geet pushes him away and runs away sticking out her tongue...Maan gets up and runs after her...he grabs her by her waist and twirls her around...he pushes her back against the tree..Geet kept on laughing but stops when she looks at Maan...

he was looking at her lips...Maan wraps her arms around his waist as he puts all his weight on her against the tree..she looks up at him..he bends down and gives her a kiss before she could deny him...she wraps her arms around his neck to deepen the kiss...

Dev who had been following him looks at them with anger..he takes some pictures of them and imagines himself with Geet instead of Maan...he had to take him out of her life so that she can be his forever...he would leave anyone and everyone for her..."I love you Geet...you thought I was joking..now you will see how serious I am..." He laughs and walks away...

Geet stops kissing him and looks around in worry...Maan looks at her confused..

Maan: What happened?

Geet: I don't know why I had a feeling that someone is watching us

Maan; no one is here...(he makes her face him) am here nah..don't worry...(he kisses her again...Geet closes her eyes and drowns herself with Maan..)
