It was initially supposed to be a OS with a part of it but Ayra (-HoneyBunch-) made me re-live my trip to Italy and Greece earlier this year so I decided to make it a three short dedicated to her with three different dedications.

AsYa TS:Wish Upon AWishing Fountain

Part 1

This Chapter to dedicated to Ayra (-HoneyBunch-) for being a wonder reader, giving very encouraging comments, noticing pieces in my work that no-one does, spamming at times too and more than that loving my work.

He finally reached the caf he went to every morning though late than usual. Yes, he was late; very late. In fact his entire group had reached and usually he would reach an hour before them. But of course not before 'her'.

He walked towards his table and his group waved to him. His group was people who he could take a bullet in the chest for. His younger brother Ayaan who was also 'her' best friend. Humeira, his brother's girlfriend and 'her' cousin. Then there were his two cousins Najma and Nikhat and their respective boyfriends Imran and Farhan. And there was 'her', the love of his life; Zoya. Everyone except Zoya knew that she meant everything to him.

The second he took his seat, she asked him "Is everything ok? You alright?" Concern was evident in her voice and he could also sense that she had been missing him.

"Yah! Mom and dad wanted me to run some errands. And on the way I stopped to help Mr. Goode in getting his puppy down from the tree," he explained his plight.

"It must have been 'Snowy'. He is the cutest and the naughtiest of the lot. I wonder how he manages to climb the tree though," was the reply that he got.

He was about to say something but was interrupted by Mrs. Goode, the caf owner shouting, "Zoya, could you please hurry up with the order. I need a little help here."

"I'll be there in a jiffy," Zoya replied back to Mrs. Goode. She worked part time at her caf. Not that she wasn't rich. In fact, his parents and Zoya's brother-in-law were business partners. But Zoya and her sister had been self-dependent ever since their parents died in a car crash. They seldom had taken help from their Uncle and Aunt i.e. Humeira's parents. Zoya's self-reliance made him fall for her all the more.

"Asad, I'll get your usual black sugarless coffee first and then whatever else you need. The others have already placed the order," saying so Zoya left the table.

He smiled at her back and then looked at Ayaan who was grinning. He groaned inwardly. He knew that his group was going to force him to join them on the last college trip to Italy and Greece. They all had finished their M.B.A and would now move on with their lives. But he didn't want to go as Zoya would not go. She would not take money from her brother-in-law for the trip at any instance nor would she take their help.

She had finally finished helping Mrs. Goode. She adored her and her husband. They didn't have their own kids and the old couple had always aided her and her elder sister, Zeenat. She now was making Asad's coffee while her co-workers worked on other's orders. She blushed a little thinking about how Asad preferred coffee only made by her. Well she wasn't complaining as she loved it because it was for the person she was head over heels in love with.

She walked over to the table carrying everyone's order after it was ready. She could see that Asad was frowning and sense that the others of course were trying to get him to do something he didn't want to. She could easily read him and he knew her more than anyone else. Maybe that was why his parents and her family wanted them to get married.

As she set the order, she questioned in a scolding tone, "Why are you guys after Asad's life?"

"Because he is refusing to join us for the trip," Humeira answered for everyone.

Before Asad could reply, Ayaan added, "Apparently he can't manage without his coffee made by you."

Zoya noticed that Asad was embarrassed by hearing this and gave a warning look to her best friend. Ayaan was the only one who was aware of her feelings for Asad. He said that his bhaijaan was truly, madly and deeply in love with her but somehow she couldn't believe it. Asad had never professed his love for her though it was obvious in his eyes. Her heart didn't want to get her hopes high as Asad, the perfectionist falling for her, the charity case as some called was so just a fantasy.

"Asad, I promise that I would make you coffee every morning during our trip if you'd come," she replied with a grin watching everyone except Ayaan's shocked expressions.

"I thought you weren't coming," Nikhat commented and Zoya could see confusion on her face.

"Zoya had taken part in an online computer based contest and our technology queen won the first position yesterday night which was a cash prize. And I had convinced her before participating that if she won she would come for the trip," Ayaan excitedly told everyone.

Najma jumped in joy and said, "Great let's go fill out your form now. It's the last day today."

"We are two steps ahead. Zoya and I did that already today morning," Ayaan replied in an I-am-so-smart tone to which she rolled her eyes.

She watched Asad get up from his seat at this and ask Mrs. Goode, "Can I take the coffee mug along with me? Something important has come up and I promise I'll return it."

"Surely, you can," she heard Mrs. Goode reply and wondered what had gotten into Asad suddenly.

"Bhaijaan, if you are going to fill the form then don't bother as I have already submitted it. I got mom to take your signatures yesterday" Ayaan shouted as Asad was about to leave making him stop in his tracks.

She chuckled as Asad sat back on his place and stared at his coffee refusing to meet anyone's eye especially her. Everyone started planning the trip and she went back to her work.

The day of the trip was here.

Zoya's jiju Anwar and appi Zeenat had insisted on seeing her off. Zeenat gave her last minute instructions as they walked inside the airport as this was the first time Zoya was going to be away from her for so long. Zoya tried to calm her appi down but it was a futile attempt.

Asad was standing with his group sans Zoya and listening to their plans. His parents had come to see him off as well and so had the other's family. His face lit up as he saw Zoya walk in.

Asad walked up to Anwar and said, "Salaam!" Asad then turned to wish Zeenat but she was busy arguing with Zoya. Asad looked at Anwar who just shrugged indicating that it was all he had heard on his way here.

Zoya had not noticed Asad till her appi turned her attention to him. "Asad, you better take care of Zoya and I am letting her go in your care only," she heard her appi say.

"I'll take care of her more than my life," Asad assured Zeenat who smiled and went to talk to his parents. He turned to Zoya and saw just in time that she was hiding her blush. He looked right into her eyes which she acknowledged by looking back.

"Zoya, I needed to talk to you about something very important," Anwar said breaking the eye lock between the couple.

"I'll take Zoya's luggage up to where everyone's is," Asad said excusing himself.

"I'd like you to stay. I'll need help convincing Zoya to take a credit card for emergency," Anwar said stopping Asad.

Zoya's eyes widened at this and she argued, "Jiju, I have enough cash with me."

"Zoya, you won't take money from us in need but your jiju is your family," Asad reasoned with Zoya.

"Or do you not consider me your family? Plus when you come back you'll start earning and I promise I'll take the money back," Anwar spoke to Zoya.

Zoya nodded and took the credit card and walked to join the rest and greeted them.

"Enjoy yourself, Zoya. It's your first trip so have a lot of fun," Asad's mother Dilshad said while kissing Zoya's forehead.

Rashid, Asad's father instructed him, "Asad, everyone is almost the same age but you are the eldest in your group so take care of everyone."

The kids bade farewell and moved to check-in.

Zoya settled in her seat which was next to Asad. All her group members were sitting with their partners so she sat with Asad. She asked for the window seat which Asad gave her happily. It was her first time in the plane and she was admiring it.

Asad watched the hyper Zoya sitting next to him. He was more than happy to be with her on the trip. Maybe he would get to know what Zoya feels about him. He was startled as Zoya held his hand tightly. He looked to see her eyes closed in fear. The plane was taking off and it was evident that she was shocked with sudden speed.

As the plane reached in air, Zoya calmed down but didn't let go of Asad's hand. She looked at him and he gave her look that said I-am-with-you-no-matter-what.

Zoya looked out of the window enjoying the feel and felt loved. Maybe Asad did feel something for her after all. 'Wish upon a wishing fountain' was all she needed to know what he actually felt.
