Her home was decorated beautifully.She entered the home.

"Sanyu beta..you have come..!"and her mother hugged her.

She hugged her back."Where is dad and bhai..? "she asked dryly.

"They are out for some shopping.Beta both of them are so glad about your marriage."

Sanyukta smiled.She has accepted this proposal just because of her father.For his reputation..

"sorry beta we could not come at the graduation ceremony..we all were too busy.."

"I understand mumma..it is fine.."

"My sweet girl" her mother kissed her cheek.."Ok now go to your room..you have just 1 week here and then you will be gone from here.."tears were trickling from her eyes...

"stop worrying mumma..I will visit you..and I love you so much.." she said and they boith hugged.

After 2 hours

Sanyukta was in her room thinking of her past..the present..and the future..

"DESTINY is something..but it is not everything..you can change it"he was remembering Vardhan sir's words. "Yes ! I will fight..."she was motivating herself...:I will let Sameer understand my point of view of joining a job..and then everything will be fine.." she reassured herself.

Finally a week was over.But this week has changed everything.The house was looking beautiful..everyone praised the preparations by Mre. Aggarwal..but Sanyukta..she was all alone since a week..she ate less..wore a simple dress and did not even bother to get ready..looking at her no one could believe it was her marriage.

"sanyu beta open the gate.."it was her mother's voice.

She opened the gate and her mother was terrified to see her state.."Sanyu..why are you looking so messy and tired..?IT is your wedding beta..how will dad feel when he sees you..? Get ready..haldi is about to start.."

She went staright to the washroom and looked at her face.There were large dark circles beneath her eyes..she was pale and her eyes has lost the shine they used to have.Hurriedly she washed her face and got ready.

Haldi ceremony :

All the ladies of the family were applying haldi on her.Then someone came with a gift."Look Sanyukta beta! It has come from your IN-Laws house.They want you to wear it today."said one of her aunts.It was a beautiful necklace."She is so lucky" she heard someone whispering.But deep inside whe was crying in pain.She could not show anyone her real situation..this was thje irony of her life.

After 5 hours:

The bus form Mumbai has arrived.The news spread like a forest fire in the aggarwal mansion.Everyone prepared to receive the In-laws of Sanyukta.

Randhir's Uncle and aunt were welcomed by Sanyukta's mum and dad.

"Mrs. Aggarwal you got the gift for bahu..?" enquired chachi jee.

"Yes..She loved it.."said Mrs.Aggarwal smilingly.

Randhir had also arrived but sameer was nowhere to be seen."He will come at evening..has some urgent work"said someone.

"Have not seen Farzi since so many days.."and he went to her room.the gate was slightly opened.He peeked him.

Sanyukta was sitting on the bed..She was no longer the charming Sanyukta..but she was looking lifeless.

"good punishment for her.." and a smile came on his face..

In the evening.Sanyukta was surrounded by ladies who were preparing her."she is looking like a doll.."One of them complimented."she is my doll!"Her mother kissed her.She tried to smile.

Suddenly there was someone on the door."Mrs. aggarwal please go to the living room..it is urgent.."

"What is the matter..?"ask someone else.

"You all stay here please.."

MRs aggarwal went to the living room.

MR. aggarwal..and Randhir's uncle aunt were present there."we got a call from Sameer and he said that he is cancelling this marriage..he Is in USA now.."said her uncle sadly..

Mrs. Aggarwal was on the verge of tears.."and What about Sanyukta..?Our family is disgraced..."

"Look Mrs. Aggarwal..Sanyukta is our responsibility too.."His aunt tried to comfort her/.."So we have decided Randhir will marry her.."

"Have you asked him..?"asked MR. Aggarwal.

"I assure you he will agree.."said uncle."But please don't tell about this to anyone..it may create a chaos here.."

Time 9 P.M. Marriage hall

Sanyukta arrived in the hall..she was looking beautiful according to everyone else but the one who knew her closely could see that there was no smile on her face.She sath beside the groom.She did not even care to look who he was.She just did what was directed with her eyes lowering.

It ws the bidai ceremony..Everyone had tears in her eyes but she had a cold look in hers.

"God bless you Sanyukta.."his dad hugged her..she smiled.

"visit us soon beta.."said her mother.."yes I will mom.."she said.

She was in the car now.So finally everything is over And she turned her face to see Sameer.

"What the heck..Randhir you..?"she shouted

"Calm ..now you are Mrs. Shekhawat.." and he gave a smirk.

"DESTINY..It is my destiny..."she wanted to cry bitterly but could not..She did not want to show Randhir that she is weak.
