The Dreamer’s Dilemma

The dreamer wakes, but stays in bed,
The world outside, a path ahead.
But dreams are fragile, they slip away
They cannot stay, they cannot stay.

And yet the dreamer holds them tight,
For dreams are what make darkness light.
They fade with dawn, but leave their trace
A world untouched, a boundless space.
