Here is the interpretation to Part 37.

As Gaurav with utter glee announced, please welcome Smt.Devyani Raizada and NK, for the first performance of the evening, his voice was drowned by the loud cheer and thunderous applause by the audience. Ganesh and Anamika were a bit taken aback and Ganesh wondered, whether Naniji could dance. Anamika too expressed her reservation by saying, at her age? While they were discussing it, the stage was darkened, the announcement by Devayani Raizada put to rest all the speculations. She told that,

"Badtameezee ek bimari hai,
Ek aisi bimari
Jo dheere dheere waqt ke saath
Budhaape mein badal jaati hai.
Main kehta hoon jab tak budhaapa nahi aata
Thodi badtameezee hi kar lete hai..."

Insolence is an ailment,

One such ailment,

That along with the time turns slowly into old age,

I say till the old age doesn't set in

A little bit of insolent/arrogant is what I will be.

Her introduction held Ganesh and Anamika in surprise. They were introduced to another facet of the Raizada Matriarch, the one they had not even thought of, even in their wildest of their imaginations! Arnav, who was used to his Nani and her ways looked at the stage and hid his smile behind cupped palm. Khushi taking hold of his hand in excitement asked him, to laugh unrestrained.

On stage, Nani appeared in a male attire, while NK had draped a saree astonishing the crowd gathered. Ganesh nearly jumped out of his skin seeing Nani wearing his clothes. It looked like Gaurav had taken the liberty of lending. Nani was in oversized clothes, with coat tails hanging below her knees, drowning her in it. NK had draped Payal's yellow sari with big green flowers in it. The outcome was quite comical.

Paan main pudeena dekha,
Naak ka nageena dekha,
Chikni chameli dekhi,
Chikna kameena dekha,
Chaand ne cheater hoke cheat kiya toh
Saare taare bole gilli gilli akhaa...

I have seen Mint in betel leaf, seen stone of nose ring,

While Nani held the audience with her gripping performance, NK was the ideal foil. He twisted and twirled his hips in the most feminine way he could manage, all the while pretending to be shy of Nani's advances.

The children in the front rows of the gathering were so full of glee, that they too started to dance to the beat along with the pair on the stage.

Nani was quite blatant about it. Anamika placing her hand on her heart to calm its rapid beat on seeing this facet of Nani, looked at Ganesh, only to see a stunned expression on it! Unable to control herself, seeing his disbelief that bordered on comical side she burst out laughing. NK arranging his pallu with finesse to cover his exposed waist and sang pointing at Naniji.

Ispe bhoot koi chadha hai
Theharna jaane naa...
Ab toh kya buraa, kyaa bhalaa hai
Fark pehchaane naa...
Zidd pakad ke khadaa hai kambakht,

He's ridden by madness, doesn't know to stop..

This maverick, holding on to obstinacy is insisting, not willing to leave..

NK's antics had Khushi rolling with laughter. Arnav, Ganesh and Anamika chuckled uncontrollably, Babuji, Amma, Akash and Payal laughed. Buaji guffawed in between a "Hai Re Nandkisore!" Mami caught hold of Mamaji and swung him around in time to the music. Gaurav laughed and Scooby barked in excitement. The crowd clapped in time to the music.

Khushi clasping Arnav's hand tightly within both her hands, looked at him with a broad smile on her face. He was smiling at her. His caramel eyes had a tender loving expression that showed his love for her unadulterated zest and his Nani's performance. Seeing his eyes on her, the smile stuck on her face and as she leaned towards him her bosom rubbed against his arm making Arnav tense. Unaware of what she was doing to him, she whispered in his ear, not to smile like that. His retort whisper, like what, was answered with, like Scooby smiling at a peda, had Arnav in boisterous mirth.

Anamika looked at Ganesh's happy face. Feeling her eyes on him, he smiled and told her, that Naniji is really a wonder wasn't she?He had a hearty laugh. Anamika in a teasing tone asked him, never to underestimate the power of a woman. Ganesh agreed with her and with a laughter said, Never. Never after this day. He was so taken by her zest, vibrant dance at her age that he wanted to know the name of her health drink!

This update is about enthusiastic enjoyment. It is about vitality. In a word, GUSTO.

The program opened with the performance from Nani and NK that was greeted by thunderous applause that showed the enthusiasm of the audience. To the disbelief of all, Nani was going to perform to the tune of Badtameezee ek bimari hai, a song that spoke about how being insolent or arrogant was not just a part of youth, but a part of all who consider themselves as youth. For youth is not a time of life. It is a state of mind, it is a temper of will, a quality of imagination. It is a vigour of emotions, a predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over love of ease.

Hearing Nani's announcement Anamika and Ganesh were astonished. They had never thought that the staid Matriarch of Raizada clan would possess such zest, imagination as well as vigour.

Arnav could not help covering his smile with cupped fingers. Seeing him doing so, Khushi invited him, not to hide his mirth, but to have a belly laugh. Her aim was for him to experience pure, unrestrained enjoyment.

When Nani appeared in Ganesh's oversized clothes, though it looked comical she carried it off with great panache and sparkling enthusiasm. She showed such enthusiasm that, it did much to invirogate the audience. She showed, nobody grows old by merely living the number of years. You grow old by deserting your ideals. NK in Payal's sari played ideal foil as female to her male part with such verve and joy that they had the audience eating out of their hand. Their performance had the kids sitting in the front join their dance downstage. Whether sixty or sixteen, there is in every being's heart a love of wonder, the sweet amazement for the star and star like things and thoughts, an unfailing child-like appetite for what next, and the joy and the game of life. Seeing Nani enact as a brawny man and pumping the fist as the solution to disagreement, Anamika and Ganesh were stunned. They were in for a day of surprises. The surprising show had popped up from unexpected quarters. NK too had the audience in splits with his imitation of a lady who was brushing off the advance of a Beau.

While the entire audience had their eyes glued on to the stage, Arnav along with watching Nani and NK was overjoyed to see the expression on the face of Khushi that had child-like quality. When seeing the quality of his smile, that made her heart flip, she asked Arnav not to smile the way Scooby smiles at a peda and he dissolves into laughter. While bending towards him, her bosom had rubbed against his arm making him hitch his breath. The song that said, This is the situation, a question and really amazing

Praising Naniji, Ganesh told Anamika that Naniji was one of a kind. Concurring with his statement, Anamika teased him saying never underestimate the power of a woman. Agreeing with the wise one, he laughed and said, he wanted to know the secret of Nani's energy. Which drink revitalizes her so much.

Throughout this update we see the entire crowd, along with the performers are filled with zest, vigour and in an enthusiastic happy mood. They have lapped up every thing that was dished out so far with great gusto.

That is why I have titled it GUSTO.
