When Arnav came over to Gupta House, Khushi told him that she wanted to invite Anamikaji and Ganeshiji for their Sagai that was to take place on Monday. Arnav beaming his rather rare smile, asked her why not? After all she was not getting betrothed again and it was once in a lifetime event for her. Khushi in her exuberance, jumped in joy. She was extremely happy and conveyed her fondness towards them saying that it would be all the more joyous with Anamikaji, Ganeshji, and Gaurav with them. Seeing that she wanted them to attend the sagai, Arnav told her that it was a good thing that Buaji and Nani had scheduled it to be held at RM as there was more space and Babuji would be comfortable in familiar surroundings.

Khushi beaming like a full moon, her eyes radiant with the happiness, asked him whether he knew that Babuji had moved his fingers the previous week. Arnav nodded and told her that he had received this information from Babuji's physiotherapist and was told there was a huge improvement in Babuji's movements. Khushi chuckling at her thoughts, told him that she thought it must be because he did not have to worry about her anymore! Arnav asserted that Babuji's sanka devi was now his with a smile. When Khushi in jest cautioned him to think once more whether he was ready to take such a huge responsibility, she received a murmur, that it was a responsibility that he couldn't do without. Taking steps towards her silently, he brushed his lips in a gentle kiss on her cheek, making Khushi blush wide eyed. She clutched his shoulders with trembling fingers, nails leaving its mark on his skin through his clothes. His lips trailing their tingling way towards her parted lips, he whispered, Khushi, only to hear Buaji's bellow drift in, asking Arnav Babua to drink his ginger tea that was specially brewed for him. Arnav with a sigh asked Khushi, whether there was really any necessity for all the peripheral functions like sagai, mehendi, sangeet and haldi. Wouldn't it be prudent to have just the wedding? His frustration made Khushi giggle and say, the fruit of patience is always sweet, leading Arnav come with an immediate riposte, that it would definitely be sweet, he would make sure of that. Running his fingers down her rosy cheek, he countered, just like the present, will she be laughing on their suhaag raat too? making her blush and eyes skitter away.

Ganesh who was patience personified, told Anamika that they needed to take things slowly. The only thing of importance was how comfortable she was with whatever they decide upon. He did not want to throw her off balance and wanted everything to be done only within her comfort zone. Anamika's eyes shone with the trust she reposed in him and nodded. His query, whether she was comfortable in touching him brought out a firm, yes. It made Ganesh tell her, to touch him whenever and wherever she wants. Ganesh giving her a free rein told her to get used to the feel of it and make herself comfortable with it, that made her ascertain whenever she wants to? Confirming to her whenever she wanted, he promised that he would not touch her. Ganesh solemn words made her nod and agree.

He reminded her that the most essential part of it was to let Gaurav know that they intend to marry at the earliest. Agreeing once again she told him that Gaurav would be thrilled by the prospect. Ganesh with a smile told her that Khushi, ASR and their family too needed to be informed or else they could find themselves fending off the barrage of requests to marry. Anamika with a smile added or they could find themselves locked in a room with the keys thrown away, making Ganesh chuckle and say or get invited to a function at their house, with a purohit and a mandap arranged for marriage. Anamika took it further and said Buaji would say, with the purohit and mandap in place, Bitwaa! Why don't you marry Anamika Bitiyaa now, Nandkisore! Ganesh thinking what would be Mami's reaction, told her with a guffaw that it would be Hello Hi Bye Bye! Bhy baste (waste) a good mandap? Continuing in the same vein, Anamika between her chuckles told that Khushi would be prancing around with joy and encouraging them to take the final plunge. Ganesh choking with laughter managed to blurt that ASR would be looking as though he had been let into an asylum by accident and caught in a maze. By that time, both Anamika and Ganesh were howling with uncontrollable laughter that had them in stitches.

When Anamika and Ganesh approached Gaurav, he was playing with Scooby throwing a stick with his one good arm. With a brightened face he addressed, Ganesh as Papa, and corrected himself as Ganesh Uncle! Anamika with a laugh let him know that he could call him Papa and added that he would forget most of the time to call him Ganesh Uncle anyway. Gaurav who was embarrassed at being caught out, with what he had thought to be a secret between Ganesh and him, reddened and asked her, whether she doesn't mind. Hiding the sorrow within herself she told him that she doesn't mind. Gaurav's smile told her, that she had given him the most precious gift that he had thought to be unattainable and it had given him joy beyond explanation. Anamika trying to broach the subject of wanting to marry Ganesh told Gaurav, that she was thinking.. and paused. At Gaurav's prompt to continue, she stammered out, that she liked Ganesh and was thinking and again paused unable to continue, wondering how Gaurav would take the news. It made Gaurav frown at her not getting the point. Seeing her fumbling attempts, Ganesh stepped in and told him that what his mother wants to know was, would Gaurav be amenable to the thought of her getting married to him? Staring at them stunned for a moment, he asked Marry? unable to trust his ears. Looking from the pale face of Anamika to Ganesh's waiting one, he asked really Papa? When Ganesh confirmed with a nod Gaurav let out a whoopee, hopping on a good foot, he hugged them and said he was overjoyed to hear what he had always wished for and they have no idea how much he had longed for them to be a family. Understanding his unvoiced emotions Ganesh patted him soothingly and Anamika kissed his forehead and wiped away his tears of joy.

Ganesh called Buaji and told her that, he called to tell her, that Anamika and he had decided to get married. Smiling at Anamika who was standing by him, listening to the conversation, he heard pin drop silence from the other end and that was shattered by the exclamation, Hai Re Nandkisore! That was such good news, Bitwaa! It made both smile and Anamika slipped her hand into his, while held it gently allowing her the option to withdraw if wanted to. Buaji's question, What did Gaurav bitwaa do when he heard the news? Dance around on his bad leg, Nandkisore? had them chuckling. Ganesh managed to tell her, that it was nearly so and he was really happy. Blessing them she asked when was the wedding? At Ganesh's confession, that they were yet to fix a date, had Buaji tell him not to worry as their Buaji she would help them out. She told him, first let her talk to Devyaniji, Manoramaji, and Anjali Bitiyaa. They would arrange everything. Both of them had wasted so much time, now that they had decided to tie the knot, they would get the two married as soon as possible or else if left to them, it would be in the next century only! Buaji told so firmly and it made Ganesh and Anamika burst out in laughter and Anamika say, that they want it to be done as early as possible. Their urgency made Buaji laugh out and say that finally their brain seems to have found its balance, though it took twenty years to wake up. Buaji hollering out to Khushi, who was preparing kheer as, Titliyaa, had Ganesh and Anamika wince amidst smile. Buaji yelled that her crazy plan had worked and now Ganesh Bitwaa and Anamika Bitiyaa are planning their marriage!

The ladle in Khushi's hand fell into the kheer. Overcoming a momentary shock, rushing over, she snatched the phone from Buaji's hand. With tears of joy gushing out of her eyes she choked and said, Anamikaji, Anamikaji. Anamika with her heartfelt love, and gratitude, called out, Khushi. Khushi's broken she is so happy and unable to express it was acknowledged. Laughing through her tears, Khushi stated, Gaurav must be on cloud nine and even with a bad leg must be prancing around out of sheer joy, had Anamika acknowledge once again. Wiping away her tears, she told Anamika that she would talk to her later as she had to go to Devi Maiyya's temple and offer a kg of her jalebi's that she had promised when her wish of them getting married was fulfilled, making them both smile. Her next sentence that she needed to call Arnavji and shock him with the news and he would look quite funny agape at the turn of events had her giggling imagining the scene and Ganesh and Anamika chuckle.

This update is about the informing or telling. Hence the title, APPRISE.

When Khushi said she intends to invite Anamikaji, Ganeshji and Gaurav for their engagement, Arnav was all for it saying it was once in a lifetime event for them. It was his way of telling her he intends to keep her by his side for their lifetime. And since it was being held at RM space was not a problem at all.

Khushi was very happy to tell Arnav about the improvement in her Babuji with the physiotherapy and in jest she says that it might be due to the fact of relegating the responsibility of her to Arnav. Her asking Arnav whether he was ready to shoulder such a responsibility elicits a response as that was a responsibility that he would love to take up. When he tells his intention of keeping up his promise of keeping Khushi happy he is interrupted by Buaji calling him to have his ginger tea. This constant interruption during his moments with Khushi makes him tell whether all the other rituals were really mandatory. Would not just wedding suffice? Her answer, while giggling at his frustration, that fruit of patience is always sweet makes him ask whether she would be sporting similar smile during their first night. He informs her that he would definitely make it sweet and better be ready, making her into a mass of jelly!

Ganesh informing Anamika to get acquainted of touching him and promising not to make her uncomfortable by reciprocating gives her a carte blanche to give in to her desire without any fear. This is the unconditional love that had sustained him for the last twenty years.

The result of them informing Gaurav of their intention to marry, has him hopping in delight, showing them that it was a correct decision not only for them but also for Gaurav.

When they inform Buaji they realized that Buaji and the Raizada ladies would stand in the place of elders and family members when they get married and were all set to arrange it for them. They are once again acquainted with the love, that these people shower on them, making them part of their extended family.

When Buaji informs Khushi that her matchmaking was a success, they realize that Khushi had orchestrated things leading them to come out in open with their feelings. They get acquainted with the fact that for their sake, she had vowed to offer her special jalebi's to Devi Maiyya. Khushi wanting to apprize Arnav of their marriage and the funny picture she paints of what his expression would be makes them get acquainted with the fact that for Khushi, her Arnavji is the first person she wants to share her happiness with, though to the world he might be arrogant and unfeeling, for her he is the world.
