[MEMBERSONLY]
[NOCOPY]

Smita,😊

Here is the interpretation to Section 1 of Part 28.

Anamika with a puzzled frown on her face phoned Ganesh. When he greeted her with, Anamika.., she told him that she had received a call from Khushi. Apparently, Anjali was holding a satsang in her house that evening and wanted them to attend. Khushi had told that she would be inviting him too. Ganesh with a wisp of a smile told her, that she had invited him and asked would she like to attend it. Anamika without replying to his query told him, that Khushi had told her that her family too would be attending it and there would be no other guests. Ganesh being endowed with patience waited for her to come to a decision and was silent. She told him that maybe they could go. When Ganesh asked what about Gaurav, she explained that when she had asked him, he had refused to use a wheelchair and apparently NK was scheduled to come over for a game of chess that evening. Hearing it Ganesh asked, when they could leave. Anamika with a frown asked him, why should he traverse through just to get her? Ganesh without taking in what she said asked her, at what time and Anamika sighed and said, at five you relentless, mulish man. Her dictum made him smile.

The Raizadas' and the Guptas' were waiting for Anamika and Ganesh. As soon as Hari Prakash opened the door, Khushi ran and hugged Anamika. Anjali and Payal followed, with Buaji, Amma, Mami and Nani bringing up the rear. ASR, Akash and Mamaji too joined the ladies in welcoming them. While entering into the house Anamika observed the interior. RM had been beautifully decorated with flowers and diyas, purohit was seated by the havan kunda, checking out the materials for the pooja. Thick mats were rolled out on the ground for the devout and the guests were led towards it. Payal and Nani sat near Khushi's Babuji and Amma. Khushi and Anjali made sure that Anamika was seated between them, and Buaji and Mami sat on either sides of Ganesh. Arnav met Akash's anxious eyes, and sat down by Mamaji.

While the pooja was going on, Khushi whispered to Anamika, that Anamikaji had no idea how happy she was. She was extremely happy that Anamikaji could join them for the havan, making Anamika smile. Anjali added her bit by saying she was scared that Anamika would have prior engagement, making Anamika say that she was free that evening. Anjali asked her, wasn't it great that Ganeshji too was able to make it? Without letting her reply, Khushi told Anjali that Ganeshji would cancel his appointments for Anamikaji and Gaurav, making Anamika and Anjali stare at her. She asked Anjali, whether she knew that Ganeshji regards both Anamikaji and Gaurav highly and holds them dear. Anjali taking cue from Khushi asked her, is it so? And Gaurav loves Ganeshji like a father, was she not correct, Anamikaji? was Khushi's next statement followed by the query. Anamika agreed with her and said, Yes. Anjali's question was, how old was Ganeshji? Anamika though taken aback, collecting her thoughts replied, that he would be 45 years in the coming December. Anjali's next question was on his marital status. She asked, was he married and when Anamika said he was not, she answered with a sigh, what a pity, he must be lonely! Khushi taking over told Anamika, that Ganeshji should be leading a happy life at this age running after his kids, his own Chunnu and Munnu and fighting with his wife in between! She said it was Gods Grace that he had her and Gaurav in his life. These words penetrated her and made her stare at Khushi. Anamika who had never given a thought in that direction was made to ponder.

Seeing Khushi in constant chatter, purohit showed his annoyance for daring to chatter while the pooja was on, by rolling his eyes. Khushi with a silent promise to him by placing her forefinger pursed her lips.

While Khushi went silent, Buaji, with a pleasant smile enquired with Ganesh, whether he was married? Ganesh's stammered No, earned a very good from Mami and was asked why doesn't he marry their Anamika Bitiyaa? Ganesh was too dumbfounded to answer. All he could do was stare at her multicolored eyelids. Buaji took up from there and told him Poor thing! Anamika Bitiyaa was cutting and stitching clothes all day long! What kind of a life was it? Dressing up brides' when she herself should be the bride, was Mami's addition to it. Buaji bemoaned, Poor Gaurav Bitwaa! growing up without a father's protection! making Ganesh look at them cautiously. Arnav taking a deep breath, thought with a sigh, that Anamika and Ganesh stepping into RM again was under a cloud.

This update is about the push that acts as a stimulus or boost to an activity. It's a spur and it is FILLIP.

When Anamika called Ganesh to ask whether he too was invited for the satsang by Khushi organized by Anjali he confirmed that he was invited and asked whether she wanted to attend it. As there would be no to her guests just the two families that she was used to Anamika agreed. Ganesh with his patience and silence let her come to the decision. The decision taken by Nani to confine it to both the families, Guptas' and Raizadas' other than Ganesh and Anamika was the stimulus for Anamika to decide to attend the satsang. Socialising with the Gupta and Raizada ladies prior to this and also their open-hearted acceptance of, her as she was, Gaurav and Ganesh were the incentives that tilted the scale towards attending the satsang.

"No person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow"

~ Alice Walker

For Ganesh her acceptance to attend the satsang willingly after coming to know her past was a happy occasion that showed to him, she was opening up. She was taking a nascent step towards socializing though it was with a small group. For 20 long years that he had known her she had been a recluse and now for the first time she was seeking his company to attend a function. It was an incentive for him that showed she thought of him accompanying her. He was determined to pick her up eventhough it was out of his way and Anamika relented.

"It will never rain roses: when we want to have more roses, we must plant more roses"

~ George Eliot

When they entered RM they were welcomed warmly by both the families and every thing was set for the pooja. The ladies set themselves also in position with. Khushi and Anjali seating beside Anamika, Buaji and Mami flanking Ganesh. First it was Khushi who opened the talk by telling that she was happy that Anamikaji could attend. Then it was Anjali who too expressed her pleasure. When Khushi started to push Anamika's thoughts towards how Ganesh thinks the world of Anamika and Gaurav and Gaurav liking Ganeshji like a father, Anjali asked Anamika about Ganeshji's age. Once she was told, Anjali told her how lonely it must be for him and Khushi added on saying at the age when he should have been happy with a family of his own, he is lonely but was lucky to have Anamikaji and Gaurav with him. This was a thought to ponder over for Anamika. This was a flick that opened her eyes for the first time, to the fact that Ganesh may not be as self-sufficient as he seemed to project. He might be missing a lot in life. This was also the stimulus for her to think if Ganesh thought so what would be her life without him in it.

"Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life"

~ Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now

When Ganesh was subjected to two pronged attack on his marital status by Buaji and Mami with a direct query, why doesn't he marry Anamika Bitiyaa and get her out of her rut, make her wear the bridal dress and pitying Gaurav to grow up without a father he was nonplussed. He was wary of their intentions. These querries were meant to spur his actions ahead.

"A gift consists not in what is done or given, but in the intention of the giver or doer"

~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

While the Ladies were busy providing incentive to Anamika and Ganesh and gently nudging them to accept their feelings for each other and come out in open, it was also spurring Arnav Singh Raizada to go ballistic at the blatant matchmaking, wondering what repercussions that had to be faced by such an act!

"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow"

~ Orison Swett Marden

That is why it was titled FILLIP!
