Arnavji do you want a baby girl or boy? She asked excitedly placing his hand on her belly.

''Girl or boy nothing make any difference, khushi..all what's matter it a part of yours and everything related to you is most precious gift for me'' She feel touched by his words.

''Still I want to know..you have to choose one..'' she asked with desperation

'Why cannot we have both..lets make twins..'' Her mouth went in an o-shape and he came near her as if he would make love to her right now. She pushed him away being retaliated.

''I am not going to melt by your mushy talks this time..understand..i know you don't love you''. She complained

''My seeds growing in your worm and you still think I don't love you''! she gulped. Her cheeks get red as he spoke in a slight loud voice and the kids behind them giggled hearing his words. She hide herself inside his coat feeling extremely shy.

In a little while arnav and khushi went for a walk. Seeing ice cream in roadside, khushi jumped in excitement and insisted him to bought for her and when he denied she made a face. Looking at her sad face, he gave up and went to buy her favorite chocolate ice cream while she stood opposite to him few distance away playing with her mobile. He guide her to sit inside the car but she began pacing feeling little worn out checking her phone.

Asr where were you..i am trying your number since so long? Lavanya began panicking quotioning him when he received the call.

What happen why you looking so worried?

Forgot about me..where is khushi? Is she with you..take care of her and don't leave her side for a second. He looked on confused by her sudden queries.

She scooped into his arms tiptoes her feet and began sobbing wetting his shirt.

''Where you gone..i died every second without you''.He barked and began kissing her face like a maniac and then realize she was silent and is not responding to his touch. Looking at her fearful face he can assume something had definitely happen.

''Arnavji hamara bachha..hum isse aj kho dete''! (Arnavji our baby...today we almost lost it..'') He wanted to ask her but by seeing her condition he prefer to keep silent.

Nothing will happen..i won't let anything happen to both of you..do you trust me nah? she nodded weakly and gripped his shirt tightly. She is not leaving him for second and clutches him tightly feeling highly distraught and in next moment he felt her loosen hands. Looking back at her, he saw her fainted into his arms. His breathe swallowed and then he noticed some slight brushes on her hands and kissed it up soothing her pain. Lifting her off the ground he placed her in the suv and immediately rushed toward hospital.

A man come out from darkness and looked at them going away.

'Not every-time you would be able to escape khushi..you will get punishment cheating on me.'' He followed them and get hold of the address where they were living and smirked glaring at the lifeless khushi in arnav's arm.

Getting assurance from doctor, arnav took khushi back home and inform lavanya about their arrival at home. Kissing her temple, he glance at her with teary eyes while lavanya came and supported him.

Its all my fault...I failed to protect her..you are right I am an irresponsible husband...my khushi gone through so much and i..! He spoke painfully kissing her palm softly.

''I think she is gaining conscious..asr I am leaving now and I have gathered security everywhere outside your house..i am damn sure he will seek inside your house..yah?''

''I don't need any security...i alone is enough to deal with him''

I knew it much well but I don't want to take any risk this time..atleast for khushi, please asr? He nodded in assurance and she moved off.

Khushi slowly opened her eyes and wriggled a little touching her stomach. He quickly wipe his tears before she noticed it.

As soon eyes their eyes met he can't gasped uncontrollably and hugged her stomach intently. He removed all his pain and grief in a hug and she ruffled his hairs recognizing how he is feeling at present seeing her in such vulnerable state.

Arnavji!! She called his name adorably but he is not ready to looked at her and moved little up snuggled his head on her chest like a small baby.

''Hum sach mein theek hain...apka pyaar itna kamzoor nahi hain ki ek andhi aye aur hame uda ke le jaye...aap is pyaar ne hame himmat di hain saare mushkilo se ladne ki aur dekhiye hum aa gaye na apne arnavji ke pas''! ''Beta...papa loves you a lot and now don't trouble mumma much and come to this world sooner and then we both together made a team against mumma''! he got down and look at the calender date. An unknown desperation rushed throw his veins realizing only some weeks left for their baby arrival. A soft hand wrapped around his waist and she hugged him from behind.

When you went to take ice-cream I was just roaming here and there to get some fresh air but then I feel someone following me. Then I get a shadow of someone keeping a sharp knife in his hand'' her grip get tight while speaking.

I get highly scared and don't gather courage to look behind. The only thought that cross my mind was to save our baby anyhow..i started running and wanted to reach you but you seems no where to be seen..i get highly afraid arnavji...for some moments I thought I will never be able to see your face. Everything is beyond endurance. I don't know what to do. I keep running aimlessly and in this process my leg slips but I somehow manage myself from falling but get hurt my hand and hide myself behind one car. I only seen his legs..i don't know why he wanted to kill me. My head getting heavy, tears falling and hand bleeding..my mind get blank..i wanted to feel your warmth but then realized I went little far but then finally I saw you searching me. I pushed that person whose back facing me and then got you. She concluded brimming tears in her eyes.

He wiped her tears and embraced her in his arms.

''I will never let anything happen to you..forget everything''! he hold her in his arms and spread duvet on her.

''Arnavji..i am hungry''! She pouted touching her belly.

Wait I will make something for you. He kissed her temple and went to kitchen while she closed her eyes taking his pillow. She bite her lips troubling him at this time of night.

''Arnavji you are the best husband in the entire world''! She closed he eyes calmly but then heard broken window voice and narrowed her eyes horrified seeing the same shadow in front of her. She get trembled. Her body is continuously shivering. Words stuck in her mouth. She heard someone nearing her. Her breath get irregular.
