CHAPTER 1: Engagement
Today is the most important day in my life...its my engagement today.
Mumma i m scared...sab thik toh hoga na...( Khushi sitting in her room getting ready)
Garima: Khushi don't be scared...tum toh sanjay ko bachpan se janti ho toh dar kis baat ka (You know sanjay since childhood then why you r scared.)
Khushi: Mumma...but now we are going to engaged now...i m very nervous. Everything is happening so fast. I didn't get time to think about this relationship.
Garima: Don't be nervous...i know he will always keep you happy. After all your papa choose him. Its not we are make you married now. Its time for marriage till then you both should spend time with each other and know each other well. You already know his likes and dislikes hain na?
Khushi: But mumma we meet each other after 10 years long..he just now came from Europe and people change with time and i m sure he will also be changed and this sudden engagement. I don't know what to do?
Garima: Do u trust your father?
Khushi: Of course i trust him mumma..no doubt in it.
Garima: Then don't be nervous..your father will never took wrong decision for you. Just trust him. He loves you very much. Whatever he will do it should for your betterment and secure life.
sanjay ravat is a nice human being and his family is also lovely.I m sure he will keep you happy. He is well educated and he loves you more than anything else.
Khushi: Mumma but what about my happiness..my dreams. I never feel dhak- dhak by seeing him and doesn't feel anything when i look at him. I always thought whenever i fall in love with someone my heart beat get stop by seeing him and i become restless but nothing happen in case of sanjay. I never feel like this when i m with him.
Garima: Garima slapping slighting on her head..budhu..tu bhi na..aisa sirf filmo mein hota hain real life mein nahi.
And now come back from your dream world and get ready. All are waiting for you down. Sanjay and his family are waiting for you eagerly. Be quick. With that she leave the room leaving teary khushi.
No one understand me. With that she sobs and get ready.Khushi clutching her lehanga tighting and praying for devimaiya.
Preeto and her friends came and make her ready. In sometime..she get down.
After coming down..all gaze at khushi. Se get more nervous. 'Devi maiyaa..raksha karna'.
Don't be scared..he will not eat you. You know him since childhood...how flirt he is. Be strong..and calm down. Only engagement is taking place..its time for marriage. Khushi murmuring herself
Sanjay: Hey beautiful!!
Hello miss..i m talking to you!! where are you lost?
(Waving her little to bring her back to reality)
Khushi: main..woh.., the only word came to her mouth.
Sanjay: Hey what happen?
Hamesha toh bak bak karti rehti hain aj kya hua? (Always keep your blaberring then now what happen?)
With that he take her hand and try to kiss her palm. But she feel uncomfortable with his touch..suddenly she take back his hand from his palm.
Khushi: Sorry..but i m not ready with this relationship..i need time. Hope you will understand.
Sanjay: Ofcouse yaar...first we are friends after that fiancee. I understand your hesitation khushi.
But trust me! I always keep you happy. I love you very much.
Khushi widen his eyes by listening his confession. what??
Sanjay: ''Yes khushi!!i love you since childhood'' with that he bent down in his feet.
All get shocked by seeing the groom like this and start clapping loudly.
While bending in his feet and holding ring in his hand he says '
Khushi !! i know you need time..but, ''will you marry me''
I love you very much and will always give you all happiness which you deserve.
Khushi has tears in her eyes by listening his confession. She look at her mom with sadness and her mother nodded her head to say yes to him.
With that she give her hand to him and say yes. All started cheering the new couple. He become very happy.
They exchange the ring and rituals end.
After the riituals, sanjay take permission to take khushi for a ride to know each other well.
Both spend time each other. Slowly slowly khushi started liking him but still she is confused with her feelings. She like him but can't able to love him the way he love her and care for her everything.
Khushi is working in one botique. After her office every day, he come to pick her up and both talk each other. He always bring smile in her face by his little jokes and talks. There late night talk are always going on. Everything is going perfect in her life.
She is has accepted him but still her heart can't accept him and she feel restless. She feel sad sometime by seeing his love towards her as she consider him just as a friend. But for her parents sake she has accepted him. Everything is going perfect in her life.
Her marriage is also fixed. She feel happy by seeing her family happy.
Unaware of one storm that come in her life and change everything.
