Part 2

*In the class*

Ms Verma is Arnav &Khushi's class teacher as well as science teacher. She gave them an assignment to work on different type of enzymes and how do they work and make an assignment on it. It was very easy for Khushi Kumari Gupta to get full marks in the assignment but for Arnav Singh Raizada, it was a tough job,man! Really tough one!

Its always Khushi who helps him in these assignments but maybe this time, it was different.

*Khushi in the library*

Khushi was researching on her new assignment when she saw that her Mr.Jerk -Arnav is coming towards her. She knew it from before that he was coming to ask for help in his assignment, but Khushi was tired of all these and even though she was innocent and would love to help people, she didn't agree to help him. She reacted in a different way, actually.

Arnav : Hey Chasmish!

Khushi : What,Arnav?

Arnav : Help me in my assignments,pleasee!

Khushi : You always come to me for these assignments! Am I your servant or what?

Arnav : Listen, you always top in the class. Helping me won't harm you!

Khushi : Have you ever talked to me like a friend? Always requesting to help you do this and that! But no, I won't this time. Do it by yourself. I am not your servant, I am not your friend, so why should I help you?

Arnav was totally shocked. He had never expected this kind of response from Khushi. He had always thought her to be innocent and sweet. Khushi always helped him with studies but maybe this time she couldn't tolerate anymore of his jerkiness.

Arnav : Khushi,Please! I am sorry. I actually use you all the time for my own benefit. My fault! I am sorry again! Help me or I'll fail. Maybe your mentality and mine doesn't match that's why we aren't good friends. But if you want we can talk.

Khushi was stunned as well. This is the first time he called her 'Khushi' instead of 'Chashmish'. Maybe he actually realized his fault.

Khushi: I don't need to talk with you. Thats my final decision. Do it by yourself. I won't help.

Arnav : Pleaseee!

Khushi No, means No.

Arnav : You're so stubborn. No need of your help. There are lots of students like you who are ready to help me. I don't need to beg in front of them. Everyone loves ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA. I don't need to go people, they come to me. You're too *proud* of your intelligence.

And then Arnav left.

Khushi totally ignored what Arnav said. But what he said, hurt her somewhere inside.

*In the corridor* ---LUNCH BREAK

It was lunch break, when Khushi was walking through the corridor with Payal where she met the stylish, beautiful, cruel,popular,mean girl,Lavanya. All the boys were after her,But Lavanya was always seen to be with Arnav. Lavanya was always mean to everyone. Her friends call her La,because she thinks that's cool,but Khushi thinks it to be totally lame. She is always accompanied by her chamche's, Pooja and Tina.

*Lavanya,Arnav,Pooja and Tina in the corridor*

Lavanya : Look girls, whos there. Our Ms.Nerd Khushi Kumari Gupta.

Khushi : Oh hey Lavanya! *she said sarcastically*

Lavanya : What are you doing here with Payal?

Khushi :Why? Can't I stay here? I need your permission?

La : Oh no no no, You should be in the library, STUDYING. Thats your official job,right?

Khushi : Just because you don't study properly, that doesn't mean others won't.

La : At least I am not like you, always boring. You're boring,Khushi. You don't know how to live life and enjoy. You are not social, always studying. You're just boring..

Khushi was blank. She didn't know what to say. Maybe Lavanya wasright. She doesn't know how to live life. She is always studying and never tries to enjoy her life. She doesn't gossip like her friends, she doesn't apply makeup like her friends in school, she doesn't drool on boys, she is just simple and sweet which is something unique about her but maybe, but no one appreciates her decent personality.

Khushi went away with a sad face and Payal went after her.

Arnav : You're impossible,Lavanya.

La : What,baby? I told the truth. Truth is always bitter.

Arnav : But you shouldn't have said like that to her. She must be crying!

La : Are you my best friend or Khushi's? She is just an unpopular, boring nerd. Don't run after her!

Arnav : Did I say I am running after her?

La : yeah,whatever.
