Chapter 59

Author's Note: Okay..I got a few questions from some very regular readers which I'd address here. Imp:Just read the questions, if you wanna know the answer, read on, & if you didn't wanna know the answer to them, scroll down for the update on the next post.

1st: Why is Samiya here?? What was the need to bring her here?

Samiya is not here to induce jealousy in Khushi. Khushi in SAY has always been jealous of any female who came into close contact with Arnav, be it her bestie La, or her own sister, Payal. So I didn't need another person for that.

What I needed was someone who had actually seen Arnav during those years when he was away. Who could vouch for the change brought about in him by Khushi's contact? Who could confirm to Khushi that what she had felt all along, that Arnav had never been with anyone else like he had been with her, was right.

In the show, La was connected to ASR's world, but in SAY La is Khushi's friend. Hence enter Samiya, as the only other option available (Sheetal) inspires a gag reflex in me.

2nd: A few of you felt, the story isn't moving anywhere now. Although you were few in number, I am addressing this concern, as it's partially true.

I am almost done with the story I wanted to say with SAY (pun not intended!). & this wedding was always planned as the kind of 'calm & happy time before the final storm'..If I move onto the last track of the story, it'll be chaos & pandemonium, & then there would be no wedding track. & I really wanted a wedding track to show how ArShi progressed in their relationship. Like in Engagement, Arnav realized, without a recognition, a gift from him to Khushi, makes her look cheap. & in Sangeet, without any kind of physical entanglement between them, they talked of being exclusive to each other.

So even if it's moving in a slow pace now, I swear I am not taking you guys for a ride. I am getting Khushi to a place where she can take the next step in their relationship as Arnav left it up to her, & then taking a cue, Arnav can move to the next next step. & then I can scramble everything up one last time.. As I always planned.
