CHAPTER:3
As the guards took ruqu Hamida came and hugged jodha asked her to follow jalal.Jodha immedately ran behind jalal not want to leave him alone.

IN JODHA'S CHAMBER:
As jodha ran towards her chamber knowing that jalal will be here,she was relived to see his shoes on the enterance of her room .she entered the room and looked for jalal and found him standing in his balcony helding railing for support in a death grip.she walked towards him and hugged him tight from his back and rested her head on his back.Jalal was boiling in anger immediately calmed down on feeling her touch .
''I am sorry jalal.I am so sorry u have to go through this much pain and betrayal''said jodha in a painfull as tears formed in her eyes seeing his condition.
Jalal immeditely turned and hugged jodha literally crushing her in to him as he could not take this pain anymore.Finally he broke down completely in her arms like a little child weeping for his broken joy which was so close to him.He cried and cried in her arms as jodha keep rubbing his back with one hand and ran her fingers in his hairs in order to comfort him.Jodha this time didn't want to stop his crying ,she let him cry as she can understand how must pain he must be keep inside him from this morning.Jalal body shook in his terrible sob.Seeing his pain tears automatically flowed from her eyes.The pain of betrayal,the pain of loosing his childhood friend,the pain of losing his unborn child .Only he knew how much dreams he have dreamed about his unborn child from the moment he came to know he was going to be a father.But went he faced the bitter reality ,he really don't know how he survied the pain .But he now know that it was jodha's love kept him alive and gave him the power to win this battle of pain.After few minutes jalal loud sobs reduced and he calmed down somewhat.Jodha broke the hug wiping her tears and cupped his face kissing his tears away .
''Enough jalal enough .Please calm down.Everything will be alright soon.''said jodha with a soft voice.But jalal was not in a mood to believe this.He immediately moved away from her .
''How jodha ?how everything will be alright?Today i lost my best friend and my dreams of an unborn child.Whomever i trust morethan myself they are the one always betraying me.First when i was a child my mom and dad left me alone,ofcourse i know they had a valid reason ,but none of the reason can bring my lost childhood back.U know jodha when i was a little boy i used to get jealous of those kids who will play with others and enjoy their time with their parents even being the shahenshah i could not get the most precious think in my life.A mother's and father's love jodha.Though Maham anga and khan baba treated me as their own son ,but still they can't replace my parent's place.But today that person who i loved like my own mother cheated me and backstabbed me and tried to saperate u from me.Then now this Ruqaiya ,who was my childhod friend and my first wife, who know how much i longed for a child played this dirty game with me just coz of her jealously.U know jodha i always considered her as my best friend and a most important person in my life.She know everything about me.She very well know how much i longed for a child,coz i wanted to give my child all the happiness i didn't get in my childhood .Then how could she do this to me.I only know how much i dreamed about the child from last night.She broke all my trust jodha.Am i so bad jodha that evryone cheats me?Am i that bad that i don't desrve anyone's love?.I am so tired jodha,i am so lost and tired of these betrayal jodha.I feel like i was lost somewhere searching for a way to reach a place where there was no place like one.Khan baba always used to say a shahenshah always remained alone and unloved jodha ,but today i can see how true it was .This loniless is killing me jodha.please save me from this loniless and betrayals before it kills me completely jodha .please save me''said jalal in an pleading tone and he sat on his knees and broke down completely covering his face.Jodha's heart broke seeing him like this .Without wasting even a second she rushed towards him and took him into a broke crushing hug and jalal encircled his hands on her waist and moved closer to her keeping his head on her chest and broke down letting his all pain and longing by his tears.Jodha just kept saying nothing sweet to him and rubbed her hands on his back .After few minutes jalal calmed down and broke the hug cupping jodha 's face.
''Jodha u will not leave me like them na?U will never leave me alone na?''asked jalal like a little boy who was lost somewhere as jodha was about to replay jalal again started speaknig''I know jodha i have hurted u a lot in the past ,i have many flaws ,but i love u more than myself and anything jodha.If u ever leave me i swear i will kill myself jodha .Please promise me u will not leave me .please jodha ''said jalal with an innocent and heartbroken face.Jodha kept her hand on his and took his hand kissing it and cupped his face.
''I promise u jalal i will never ever leave u at anycost .I will be with u always.I love jalal how can i leave u .''said jodha wiping his tears.Jalal now hugged her gently keeping his on her shoulders .
''I love u too jodha''said jalal in a tired voice coz of the heavy crying .Jodha understood that he must rest for a while now .
''Jalal u need to rest now.''said jodha in a soft voice caressing his hair.
''Hmmm''said jalal closing his eyes.Jodha smiled a little and made him stand up and took him to the bed.She made jalal to lay down and covered him with a blanket and was about to move away from the bed but jalal held her hand in a tight grip and looked at her with a sleepy expression.
''I want to sleep with u''said jalal in a sleepy voice like a child .Jodha smiled at this and caressed his forehead kissing it.
''I will be back in two minutes''said jodha releasing her hand from his grip and walked out of the room.After 2 minutes she came back ordering the gaurds not to allow anyone inside or disturb them untill she calls them .When she entered the room jalal was looking at the door and smiled seeing her.Jodha let out a sight of relief finally seeing a smile on his face.She joined him on the bed and jalal immediately kept his head on her chest hugging her closer to him by her waist.Jodha kissed his forehead and started caressing his forehead.After few minutes jodha was lost in her thoughts but kept caressing his hair.
''U want to ask something jodha?''asked jalal out of blue and she came out of her thoughts and looked at him .
''No jalal nothing .u sleep now'said jodha with a smile.But jalal know something was bothering her and held her hand.
''Jodha u know u can't lie to me.Then why are u trying to do it.Now tell me what is going in the mind of urs?''asked jalal in an assuring voice.
''Actually jalal i want to ask u why u didn't tell about Ruqaiya before?''asked jodha in a hesitant voice not wanting to hurt him again by remaining all this again.
''Coz i know u will aske me to forgive her jodha.I can't refuse anything u ask but at the same time i can't forgive her too jodha.That's why i didn't tell this earlier jodha i am sorry''said jalal looking at her.
''No jalal no need to say sorry.But u r wrong jalal.This time even i would have never forgiven her''said jodha in a determined voice shocking jalal and he looked at her with an unbelievable expression.
''Yes jalal i will never forgive her for this.Coz this time i was not the one she hurted the most. It was u jalal.I can forgive the person who hurts me,but i can never forgive a person who hurts u intensionally.I can tolerate any kind of pain jalal ,but i can never tolerate the pain of seeing u in pain.''said jodha in an emotional voice .Jalal was moved by her words and hugged her more closer and kissed her cheeks and said ''I love u jodha''.
''I love u too my jalal ,but its enough for now.Now sleep for sometimes''said jodha and closed his eyes .Within minutes jalal drifted into a peacefull sleep with a content smile on his face.Jodha smiled seeing his smile and she too drifted off to sleep soon

IN THE EVENING:
As the evening golden rays kissed her beautiful face,jodha woke up from her sleep and looked at jalal who was sleeping in the same position .But her smiled faded as soon as her hands touched his forehead.Jalal was burning with fever .Jodha immediately try to wake him up but he didn't even stir a bit,then she understood he was unconcious.She got panicked and immediately ordered Mothi to brink Hakim .Within minutes hakim came and started to treat Jalal while jodha sat beside jalal as salima and hamida stood beside him near the bed.After treating him for 15 minutes hakim looked at jodha .
''Don't worry begum ji ,fever is just coz of the stress.The fever will come down by tonight and he will gain consicious within 30 minutes.Nothing to worry about.''said hakim with a assuring smile.Jodha finally let out the breath she was holding for the last few minutes and smiled back at hakim .
''Thank u so much hakim ji .''said jodha .
''Its my duty begum ji .Ok i will take ur leave now .please call me if there is any promblem''said hakim leaving the room with jodha's permission. After hakim left jodha looked at jalal and kissed his forehead and kept a wet cloth on his forehead to reduce the fever .After 20 minutes jodha who was lost in her thoughts came back to reality when she felt a pressure on her hands.Jodha immediately looked down to see jalal who was weekly smiling at her.Jodha immediately cupped his face with a relieved smile.
''Jalal are u alright ?how r u feeling now?''asked jodha in a worried voice.
''I will be alright when my love is with me''said jalal with a smile.Jodha blushed and smiled at this .
''ok stop ur romance now and get up .U must eat something and take the medictions''said jodha as she got up from the bed and helped jalal to sit on the comfortably.
''Jodha what medictions?I don't want any medictions yaar?''said jalal making faces like a child. .Jodha smiled at his antics .
''Jalal stop acting like a child and do what i say.''said jodha in a stern voice to which jalal nodded his head with the same expression.
Jodha ordered food for both of them and they both feeded each others.Finally jalal took the medictions after getting a angry glare from jodha.
Jodha and jalal both sat on the bed leaning on their back as jalal rested his head on her shoulders.Suddenly jalal got an evil smile on his face and thought of teasing jodha.
''Jodha can i ask u something?''asked jalal in a naughty voice.
''Hmmm''said jodha with a smile not noticing the naughtiness in his voice.
''Actually jodha i want to ask u how was my talent in the bed last night?''asked jalal controlling his laughter.Jodha blushed like a betroot hearing this and hit his shoulders playfully.
''Jalal u have became so naughty ''said jodha with a blushing smile.
But jalal came on the top of her on the next moment and looked into jodha's eyes who was lying under him.
''U didn't see how naughty i am still now jodha .Do u want me to show it?''asked jalal with a husky voice which send shivers into her body.Jodha just closed her eyes as jalal came near her face looking her rosy lips .As he was about to capure her lips a breaking sound brought them back to reality .As both of them looking at the direction both of their blood boiled on seeing the person who destroyed everyones happiness.Both of them immediately stood up from the bed and jalal eyes turned red out of anger.
''How dare u keep ur dirty feet in my jodha's pure room u witch?''roared jalal looking at ruqaiya who was standing there with a scared face and the next moment all the guards who was appointed to arrest her.
''what the hell u r doing?can't u even keep her in control?''roared jalal looking at them guards .The poor guards can't even utter a single word seeing his anger.Jodha who took pity on the guards ordered them to leave and kept her hands on his shoulders to calm down.Jalal on feeling her touch somewhat calmed down and looked away not want to see ruqaiya's face.Jodha now composed herself and looked at ruqaiya .
''why u came here Ruqaiya ?''asked jodha with a stern tone.Ruqaiya's blood boiled on hearing jodha calling her without respect but she composed herself to work her plan.
''Jodha begum please forgive me and stop jalal from giving me talak.please jodha begum i know i made a mistake but please forgive me .''said ruqaiya shedding her crocodile tears.But jodha was not bit moved as she know ruqu well
.''Shup up .Just shup up.Don't u dare take my name jodha's name with ur mouth.She is Mallik -E-Hindustan so call her like that and i am ur shahenshah so don't u dare call me by my name''said jalal with a rage .Ruqaiya gulped her saliva and nodded her head.
''Mallika please forgive me''said ruqu .But jodha was controlling her anger as jalal was already on the verge of bursting out with anger.
''Why should i forgive a heartless and cheap criminal like u?''asked jodha in a stern voice.Ruqaiya who didn't expect this from her looked at her with a shocked expression.Jodha gave her a glare seeing her shocked expression.
''What ?why are u so shocked?Do u think i will forgive u seing ur crocodile tears then u r wrong ruqaiya.Ofcourse i would have forgiven u if u hurted me.But this time u hurted my jalal who i love more than anyone.I can even tolerate seeing a single sorrow tears from his eyes,but today u made him cry buckets .I will never forgive u for the pain u gave him .What kind of women u r haan?Do u feel ashamed for doing such act?.Let me tell u something ,better u get of this room now otherwise i will behead u this moment u cheap''said jodha boiling in anger .
Ruqaiya who never expected this from jodha was boiling with insult and jealously hearing her calling her jalal as her's.Now she planned to play her final plan and she wiped her tears.
''Oh please Mallika -E-Hindustan,don't start to day dream that ur so called shahenshah is in love with u.He just wanted ur body and now he had that .After using u for more times he will dump u .so stop day dreaming coz he can't love anyone.He only wants ur bod...''said ruqaiya but she was cut off as a sharp slap landed oh her face as she closed her eyes from the impact of the slap.After few seconds when she opened her eyes she saw jodha who was boiling with anger .Ruqaiya was stunned by the slap she gave her .
''Don't u dare utter a words bad about my jalal u cheap.His love is pure even more than a mothers milk .so shut up and get out ''roared jodha as she called ordered the guards to take her and they literally dragged her out of their room.
Jodha turned and looked at jalal whose back was facing her and she ran and hugged him from his front and kept her head on his chest while jalal encircled his hands around her waist keeping his head on her head.After staying in the hug for few minutes jodha remembered his fever and made him sleep after struggling for 30 minutes and she too joined him and both of them slept peacefully in each others arms.
