Khushi woke up early . She saw Arnav hugging her as usual . She carefully placed his hand on the side and hurried to bathe .. She wore a red saree and came out of the bathroom . She was surprised to see Arnav on the recliner . She was scared now . She knew what effect red has on him and she still remembers what he did when she wore a red gown which he gifted .
Arnav turned around sensing her presence around him . He controlled all his desires seeing her in red . He only knows how much he has to control himself seeing her in red .
He stood up and started walking towards her . She was scared now . She clearly knows what is coming for her now . She clutched her pallu to withstand her fear .
Arnav stood before her and placed his hand on her shoulder .
Arnav : Khushi you go first and I'll follow you downstairs ...
Khushi was totally shocked she didn't expect him to say this ... He was never like that !

Down stairs
Anjali was waiting for Khushi downstairs . She spent a sleepless night the day before as she was thinking what her brother would do with Khushi . She knew that her brother is changed but no one can predict when the beast within him would wake up . But she knew one thing that she would always save Khushi from Arnav if he goes wrong with her .
She saw Khushi coming down . She can see that Arnav didn't harm her but still she needed to conform . May not directly but she can do it indirectly.
Anjali : Khushiji , come fast we have to start the pooja .
Anjali observed that she was walking properly which means he didn't harm her physically .
They both started the pooja and entered the kitchen .
Anjali : Khushiji , do you know how to cook ?
Khushi just nodded her head in a positive manner .
Anjali : So my bhabi knows how to cook !!! So can you make some sweet dish ?
Khushi again nodded her head and started to search for ingredients .
Anjali : May I help you ?
Khushi nodded her head in a negative manner . Anjali passed a smile .
Anjali : Khushiji as far as I know my friend Khushi was never quiet !!! She always used to talk , dance and sing.
Khushi looked up in Anjali's eyes to know what she was saying . How does she know how she was in her childhood ? Again she resumed to her work .
Anjali : Khushiji remember you had a shop in which you used to assist your grandfather . One girl used to come daily and buy flowers from your shop , you used to chat with that girl who slowly became your friend . She was 9 yrs older than you and she left that place for her studies when you were just eight ?
She had tears remembering her one and only friend whom she used to call DI , who left her all alone .
Anjali : Khushi ji , I am that girl who was your best friend .
Khushi saw Anjali again with tears making their way form her eyes along her cheeks ...
Anjali hugged her to reduce her pain . Khushi too hugged her back and started to sob . How much she missed this friendly hug which can take away all her pains .
They both didn't know that they were being noticed by a person who was the reason for all their pains .

Dining hall
Arnav and Anjali started to eat the dishes which Khushi prepared while Khushi was serving them .
Anjali : Khushiji aap bhi betiye na ... Khana Bohat tasty hai !
Khushi was about to sit when
Arnav : Haan di the dishes are really tasty !!!
He said staring at Khushi
Khushi straightened herself and was looking at him with her big eyes ...
Anjali : Khushiji sit down .
Khushi sat and had her breakfast thinking about Arnav and his changed behaviour .
She still remembers their second meeting where he proposed her ..
