Chapter 3 : Eyes
Unlike his Wife the King of LANDSENDS did not sleep. Bred to the hardship of battle, Arnav kept close vigil all through the night. Nothing moved in the yard but his mind went back to the day he met his Angle his life...
Flash back Starts...
He was here to WOLFFORT with his brother Akash and his men's not for war but to win wife for Akash who is getting married to Princess of WOLFFORT 'Payal'.
He was roaming around in the forest when he heard some noises ,marched towards the sound and what he saw left him speechless.
As disbelief roared through him,he looked from the girl lying face down in the dirt to the man poised above her with a whip and farther to the older man who was clearly in command. A man of some substance that one.
The older one obviously think, for he gestured contemptuously to several of his men sending them in Arnav's direction. They came with clumsy speed, yanking their swords from their scabbards. Watching them, Aranv sighed, beneath him DAWN tensed in happy anticipation. The attackers were almost upon him, when Aranv reached behind without undue haste and drew the blade sheathed across his back. at eh same instant , he dug his heels into the stallion.
The first man to reach Aranv fell before he could do more than swing his sword a few inches. He landed hard on the ground and groaned. The second followed an instant later. The third lasted just a little longer, enough to actually engage so that steel rang against steel for scant moment before he also tumbled soon the people who were manhandling a young women and thought Aranv alone person cant do anything were lying and Arnav hovering above them.
He gently lifted the girl, who were all cover in mud and blood. He took her to the near by safe zone and place her to see if she is fine and alive.
He sprinkled little water on her face slowly she open her eyes and Aranv lost everything in those deep mysterious Aqua Marine eyes who were looking at him with so much innocence and pain. The girls face was all covered with mud but those eyes captured his soul and he wanted to lost himself in those.
The girl jerked and flash of second jump away from him. Those eyes flashed anger, agony but no fear at all.
Khushi was running away from her fate when she all of a sudden came face to those who very behind her misery.
She was happy very happy her best friends (sister's) marriage has been fixed with King of Merica, Akash. Payal was the only one who loved Khushi unconditionally though she was a princess and Khushi was her maid. Payal never treated Khushi as maid instead Khushi was her younger sister she never had.
Khushi stayed with Payal all the time got best education along with her. Good cloths and everything which one princess gets but she never forgot that she is not a Princess but a Orphan maid who is getting everything because Princess loves her and treats her like her sister. She was having only one uncle from her father side who never accepted her as his family.
For Payal's wedding lot of warriors kings has come to WOLFFORT the whole kingdom was shining like a star. Khushi was roaming around the city and enjoying everything.
Soon she will be left alone after Payal's wedding was thinking about how she will lead her life further. She was very thankful to Payal for giving her best training and education which will be her only hope to lead her life the way she want.
Much engrossed in her own thought she didn't realized when few warrior came near her and started pulling her along with them. She was terrified with their sudden act and panicked when she heard her uncles voice saying that he had sold her to those warriors for 100 Gold Coins.
Khushi kicked the man who approached her there where it hurts the most she saw him falling down and she ran from there. She was running but the evil was much faster they reached her and was forcing her when she heard a very manly strong voice before falling unconscious due to hard blow on her head.
When she opened her eyes she saw very beautiful melted Gold brown Eyes and very manly face near her with so much of concern and worry. But to save herself she jerked and jump up from ground to run again but stop when she heard the same voice before loosing her conscious.
Arnav saw her jumping and about to run. He can't just think of loosing her he felt sudden urge to protect her to held her near himself. He asked her to stop when she stopped and turned around he assured her about safety. He saw her coming hear him and sitting besides himself. He felt peace in his heart and asked her about herself and how she landed in that situation She narrated how her evil uncle sold her to those warrior just for 100 Gold coins.
After thanking him for his help she ran away in the city leaving a very shocked and helpless Aranv behind,who know nothing about the girl how she looks what is her name where does she leave except those lovely eyes and one thought that he want her in his life...
