Part 35

The semi large bedroom was decorated with candles. While, the bed was showered with rose petals and a huge shape of heart adore at the centre of the mattress. Arnav was seating on the recliner probably waiting for Khushi to come out from the bathroom. He already arranges the entire requirement for their wedding. The nuptial vows will be happening just among the two. No outsider or the priest was invited. It's was only between them.

The sound of the bathroom door opening make Arnav turn behind to get the glimpse of his would be bride.

She looks beautiful in pink lengha choli with gold printed work on the material. There was no jewellery adoring her only little touch of the blusher and some mascara was making her skin glow even more than before.

With small steps Arnav walked towards her. His hand tucked her hair behind her ear giving him a clear view to adore her. Khushi could feel something tickling in her belly. She lifted her eye to meet his. They stare for few seconds with extra tendency and love they carry within themselves.

However, Arnav lifted her up in his arms and walked to the balcony. Where a holy fire was arranged.. He put her down on her feet and holds her hand tight in his hold before he could take the vows.

Arnav: "Will you consider each and every vows of our as a promise that you will love me just the way I does..?" He wait for her reply before he could proceed..

Khushi: "I will love you from the bottom of my heart.. There is no way I will defy you.." They completed one vow and started for second.. Each step they took was bounded with a promise.

Arnav: "A vow that we will never back off doesn't matter any kind of rift come in our way.. [PAUSE] A vow to always trust each other .. [PAUSE] A vow to always stay beside each other during hard and healthy period [PAUSE] A vow that we will never hide anything from each other.. [PAUSE] A vow that we will stay happily forever [PAUSE] A vow that you will never hurt my heart nor will I.." There were shrink silence between them when they completed the seven vows with the promise they took. Arnav turn behind to meet Khushi's eye who was looking at him.

Khushi: "Why am I feeling weird Arnav..? As something might happen..?" She asked with her voice fading in.

Arnav (Cupping her cheeks): "Nothing can kill our love if we stand for each other.. We take vows to love each other entirely.." Khushi closed her eyes tight when he leaned forward to kiss her forehead just below the petition where a husband will mark his wife with vermillion. He didn't apply any as it wasn't their actual marriage.

The sky was shinning with stars blinking beautifully by bathing the sky with brightens. Khushi and Arnav was seating under the dark sky on the recliner. They were hugging each other with Khushi resting on his chest while he put his arms possessively on her shoulder and dragged her closer to him.

Khushi: "Did you saw that three stars..? The one is shinning more than others..?" Arnav nodded with her query. "That is my parents and just at the left side it's your Mother.." He says nothing and just glued his eye on the stars.

Arnav: "Is my mother happy up there..?"

Khushi: "Of course she is.. She chosen that path for she and we are no one to mock on what she had chosen for herself. I know what she does was wrong but we can't undo what had happened. Accept it Arnav even it was hard.." She realized someone have to start to make him understand that those fact can't be rotate. He seem wasn't coming out from the nasty step his mother took to end her life. Somewhere, he was getting attach to the incidents and didn't want to think relevantly.

Arnav: "We starting to Delhi tomorrow morning.." Khushi eyed him for a second.. Unbelievable..!

Khushi: "Topic change..? Never mind.." She giggled as she didn't want to ruin their day by getting into argument or opening the old grave which won't benefit each other. "So, we aren't going for honeymoon..?" She asked playfully.

Arnav: "We will but once we married before the world.. Before your family and mine.. I want our marriage news to spread everywhere. They world should know Arnav Singh Raizada getting married to Khushi Malhotra.."

Khushi: "And that will be the most happiest and contended news for our family and most probably for us.. I'm planning to tell Mahi before anyone.. I want to shock her with our marriage decision.." Arnav nodded as he understand she shared a very strong bonding with Mahi..

Arnav: "Errmm.. What about your brother..?"

Khushi: "We will talk with him together.. But before that I want to inform Mahi first.."

Arnav: "Acceptable.." He yawn suddenly.. "Shall we go to bed now..?"

Khushi: "It's too early.. Lets seat here for some more minutes.." She suggested..

Arnav: "Are you avoiding from something..?" He guessed..

Khushi: "No.. I'm not.." She blurted immediately.

Arnav: "Then let's go to bed.." She showed the horror expression when he lifted her in his arms and walked in the room. He laid her on the bed while he snuggled close to her creating the proximity. Khushi's breathe pick up with his electrifying touch. She closed her eye tight that's when she felt her shoulder been bare literally and he planted kisses on her skins. Gasp..! The lights were off only the few candles were brightening the room. She can't see him so does him. He pulled her in his arms and whispered softly in her ears. "Good night.." Her eyes open larger. From what she knew this wasn't something he had planned..? Then why did he change his mind..?

Khushi: "Arnav.." He sshh-ed her by putting his index finger on her lips.

Arnav: "I don't want to impose all this things on you. We aren't married in actual term. We have a long way to go with what we desire. As long you can promise we that you won't defy me and the promise you made..!"

Khushi: "I won't defy you Arnav.. We vows to love each other.."

Arnav: "We do.." He hugged her tightly. Slowly, they drifted into a deep slumber. The day was quite a tiring one for them but yet a memorable. Today they took the vows to stay and love each other entirely.

However, no one knows what future have store for them and the real game the destiny will play against them..? The promise will be the question point to each other as one of them will certainly move backwards.

Next morning..

Khushi was packing her luggage with Arnav nowhere to be seen. She could see his suitcase was already packed unlike her who just after opening her eye. She was damn tired. Moreover, this journey to Delhi will be much more tiring then what she can imagine.

The room door been opened from outside, while Arnav walked in. He was holding a glass of juice and leaned to her. With a smile she grabbed the glass and started to sip the orange juice wetting her throat and filling her stomach.

Arnav: "Good Morning.. Sweetheart.." He kissed her cheek lightly.

Khushi: "Morning.. When we can start..?"

Arnav: "Just after you have your breakfast.. Then we can start.." She nodded as she will pack her luggage quickly so that she can finish her breakfast soon too. She was about to walk towards the kitchen that's when he gripped her wrist and pulled her closer. "I have something for you.." His hand raked inside his pant pocket and that's when he took out a grey box. He opened only to surprise her with the beautiful bracelet adoring in the box and small shape of heart was tickling at the edge of the bracelet.

Khushi: "This is so pretty.." He throws the box on the bed while his hand started to make her wear the bracelet he just bought yesterday afternoon when they was out to buy the bridal lengha for her.

Arnav: "This is for you.. A gift for the vows that we took.." She smiled contentedly.

Khushi: "And I don't have anything to give to you.." She said guiltily.

Arnav: "You already give me your heart. It is the best gift I have ever received." She blushed.. He kissed her knuckles before he continued.. "Don't let this bracelet off your wrist ever. I will think you already throw me away from your heart.."

Awwee..! That was such a sad request she ever heard from him.

Khushi: "I won't Arnav.. This bracelet will never go down from my wrist. It will stay close to me forever.." She promised.. He embraced her..

Arnav: "I don't feel like going back .."

Khushi: "Either me.."

Arnav: "But we have to go..." She giggled when he sigh harshly..

Their luggages were placed in the trunk once Khushi was done with her breakfast. The white SUV move smoothly towards the main road.. Khushi and Arnav didn't stop from communicating each other. They talk and talk and talk and that's when they had been disturbed by the phone call. It was showing Aman Mathur.

Aman: "Don't tell me both of you already forget me..?" He mourned sadly.

Arnav: "Come to the point Aman.. Why did you call..?" He asked sternly.

Aman: "No changes even after falling in love..? I thought Khushi might change you to someone more sweetheart and polite.." He teased.. Khushi could see the furiousness on Arnav's face. Aman was really pulling his leg this time.

Arnav: "I will guess there is nothing important with your sudden call..? So I'm going to hang up now.."

Aman: "Wait.. wait..! Of course there are something really important for me to inform you.. A kind of good news.."

Arnav: "What..?"

Aman: "We already cracked the Dereck Deal.. Our quotation was more impressing and promising then others.."

Arnav: "Wow.. That's a great news.." He cheers for their victory. They have been chasing this deal from the last two months and finally their team hard work been paid off. "So when we can proceed..?"

Aman: "As soon as possible just after you finalize the deal with Dereck in England.. It been said in the document that everything related to this deal should be consulted with Dereck Empire in England. The largest branch of Dereck, all the documentation should be finalizing there not any other place."

Arnav: "Ohh.. So I need to leave to England now..?" Khushi looked at Arnav surprisingly.

Aman: "Yes.. We can't delay as they might give to some other agency if they will to decrease their price. So better make it fast.." Arnav agreed with Aman on this.

Arnav: "Prepare everything.. I'm just on my way coming back .." The call was cut once they discussed about their trip. Even Aman was accompanying Arnav to England as they worked day night to crack this deal.

Khushi: "You are going..?"

Arnav: "I have too.. [PAUSE] Why don't you follow me..? We can spend some time together.."

Khushi: "I don't think so I can make it.. My family arriving by tomorrow and so does you're just after mine. Besides, I have to start my report as I have to wrap up my work in your office. My internship will complete by next week.." The time passed so quickly that he didn't notice it was already a month they were working under the same roof from the last 30 days. Obviously, they shared some bittersweet memories.
