Part 17

She reached ten minutes before the actual schedule. She been told to wait at the lobby while the receptionist went to inform the head of Designer, M.K.. While, waiting her eyes was scanning the entire office. She could see the dedication the worker has here. There were engrossed in their work and wasn't much wasting their time in gossiping in their respective Group. She started to like the surrounding and she felt comfortable. But less she knew this was just the beginning of her life and there is a lot that she has to face and go through while working under the person she hate the most.

She been called by the receptionist and she direct her to the conference room where she would be interview for the position of Assistant Designer. She adjusts her scarf around her neck and her mini shirt with black sleeveless top which already glued on her body. She was looking pretty in the western attire. Her curly hair was left open making her look more gorgeous then before. She has the aura to make all the guys go crazy for her and the result was Arnav Singh Raizada whom already let his heart to be ruled by her.

The receptionist opens the glass door and told her to enter as the Head of Designer was waiting for her with other Department Manager. She took a deep breath and enters in the conference room. She saw three leather chair been placed and two was occupied. The middle one was left empty. They called her and asked her to seat. They approached her and introduce themselves to her. They already get the order from their highness regarding what they have to do.

M.K: "So Khushi Malhotra..??" She nodded a Yes. She found M.K was quite friendly and a girlish type. His was hand mostly swimming in the air with his soft behaviour. Even he dressed like a male but the touch of a girlish never left from his face and his gesture.

HR Manager: "Since our CEO is busy with Video conference and he have told us to lead this interview. We have read all your details and have seen your designs too. It was outstanding. We are offering you the job of assistant Designer of M.K.. He will help you and brush your talent deeper. Once your internship end we might offer you as one of the Main designer here. Only based on your capability during this internship." Khushi smiled broadly knowing that she been accept here and they are looking forward to give her permanent job once they were satisfied with her talent.

M.K: "But Khushi there are something which we need to inform you clearly before you sign the contract. You will not only be my Assistant but also our chief's Secretary." She frown her brows not understand what does he means by Secretary. She is not from any Management field, then..?

HR Manager: "We knew you might be confused but it's all depending on you. Right now we are shot out of a Secretary. Mrs.Rai, the current secretary is expecting and now she is on her 6 months. She can't do heavy work which lead to pressure and some of the staff here are helping her in many ways. Since you are new to this scope and we are offering you to be the second Secretary for our CEO. You have a very good background so does your family. Malhotra Industries is a very Famous Empire in New York. Here you have jot down that you had work as Khalash Malhotra Assistant for some time. Based on the short experience we are offering you two jobs in one time. You don't have to worry regarding your main qualification designer, we would always look in to it too. But choice all yours, if you agree then we will sign the Contract today itself and AR will pay you double for the job you are assigning."

She started to think deeply. It was true she have worked for her Nannu(Khalash Malhotra) for sometime but only when his Secretary was on long leave. She pounce her mind in many way and do think about Mrs.Rai who is expecting her six month baby. Without spending much time she agreed to assign both the job and told them that she would sign the Contract. She agreed as she knew she would be here for most of the time and in that case she can help Mrs.Rai for some time before they get another qualifies Secretary to replace her. It's only matter of few months.

Everything was going accordingly and she signed the contract after reading the entire condition which was black and white. They had some discussion regarding the new project of AR and that when M.K's mobile rang. After chanting for some seconds he cut the called and move to Khushi to convert the message which he just receive from their CEO, Arnav Singh Raizada.

MK: "Khushi.. Seem you already acknowledge most of your job here and we are glad that you joined our Company. We were looking for some fresh candidates which are talented like you." She smiled as a replied for his compliments. "Our CEO is waiting for you in his Cabin which is on the first floor, Since he wasn't able to attend the interview here so he asked you to walk in his cabin now." She nodded in agreement and walked out from the conference room. She just followed the direction which been told by the two mans.

She knocked the glass door and come a firm replied from inside. She walked in taking baby steps. She felt a kind being here. When she first stepped in the premise she was happy due to the surround but now everything was turning suffocating. She was staring at the leather chair back while the owners face was still invisible for her.

Khushi(Clearing her throat): "Good morning Sir.." She greeted him. There was only numbness she received from his end. She doesn't know what she has to do. She didn't want to call him again and again as it would only reflect her rudeness. She waits for his replies.

Nearly 30 minutes passed and there were only silence. She started to sense something weird here. Without wasting anytime she took her files and was about to merge out from the cabin.. But before she could a stern voice questioned her.

Arnav(Still facing on the opposite way): "You can't even hold for thirty minutes than how the hell you will handle me for 30 days or maybe more?" They both turn to face each other. He was smirking seeing her reaction. It was surely worth to watch.

Her expression was mixed. Her mouth was literally open and her eye was glued on him as she just saw an ghost standing in front of her. She was in shocked to see him and couldn't able to register what was happening..!

Arnav: "Well.. Would you mind to show me your file?? I need to study you.." He asked in winning smile on his face.

Khushi(Coming back to her sense): "What are you doing here..??" She shoots her first enquiry.

Arnav: "Good question but your voice sounds rude to me. This is not the way to speak with your CEO, Arnav Singh Raizada the owner of AR Group and Designs. You're Boss..!" Her eyes popped out. She was just trying to join the points on how she reached here and how this possible? "Let me explain everything in details so you won't look blank as you are looking now." He started but before he could she was ready with her another query.

Khushi(Angrily): "You was behind all this?? You made my resume been rejected by Raizada Industries?"

Arnav(Smirking): "What to reject when your resume didn't knock Raizada's Industied desk..!" She frown her brows.. "I bribe your Management and in just one hour I changed everything and brought you here right in front of me. Now you can't do anything." She couldn't believe that she was trapped and she wasn't knowledge to it. She just followed his rhythm without knowing the fact that all this was plotted?

Khushi: "Then I cancel this Contract right here. I'm not interested to work under a monster like you." He raised his brows. He starts liking her courage to back answer him. Well, how can he forget her slaps? The only girl who have slapped Arnav Singh Raizada..

Arnav: "Then ready to face the consequence. Your study will come to end with just one call of mine. If I can changed your management final decision than its not impossible for me to put a full stop to your life." She looked at him with anger visible in her eyes. Her hatred for him was increasing by each passing second.

Khushi: "You can make people dance on your finger tips but don't include me in those weak categories. You did this with the power of your money, but don't forget I too from a strong background. The only difference between me and you is, you played dirty games and I will never spend a penny for a monster like you. While, Thanks for providing some details regarding the culprits and it will help me to cancel the contract."

Arnav: "Ohh.. You impressed a monster like me.. Good..! But Khushi do you have any evidence who I bribe and so on..?? There are 100 of employee in Management Department who look after your resume and how the heck you will find them? Any source..??" with mocked tone..

She started to think. Whatever he told was correct. How she would find the person who did all this for money? She can't even asked the help of Ms.Chandi she is her Lecture. She doesn't have any way to escape and for sure she would never let him win so soon.

Khushi: "You want me to work here right..?? Then I'm ready. I'm not giving up easily and nor I will let you rule me.. Mark my word Arnav Singh Raizada..! You will regret getting me here..!" She said without any fear. She could see he was calm and wasn't reacting on her words.

Arnav: "Then welcome to AR.. Ms.Khushi Malhotra.." He seat on his leather chair and throw a file to her. "Study this before you walk in, in this office tomorrow. Never escape anything from the file not even a point. It's a job of a secretary." He said cunningly. "You can leave now Ms.Malhotra." She fumes in anger seeing him ordering her. "One more, there is your cabin" He pointed on the glass room which was in front of his eyes just opposite his. "You will work from there."

She took her bag and files and run out from his cabin. He couldn't hold himself and a wide smirked appears on his face.

Arnav(In his heart): "This is just the beginning Khushi.."
