Spoken Yet Unspoken Emotions

Everything was a blur for her , she was walking away , slowly waiting for him to stop her from going , waiting that he would call her. She looked back , to only see him not caring , she looked away with tears and stepped into the new world , without him and without any hopes.

Kria woke up , again in this dream. She groaned , what is wrong with her! She checked the time , it was morning , so she dragged herself to the washroom lazily , she brushed her teeth , and then looked at herself in the mirror.

She had messy hair , her eyes still looked drowsy , she made a face and then washed her face. She yawned and went back to her bed and fell down on it , waiting for the geyser to warm her water.

She remembered what all had happened in these few days.

She , Kria Ghai! Had fallen in love with her best friend , Rey. The moment she realized it , had been probably the best moment of her life , but then good things don't last forever , and she was bought back to reality! He already had a girlfriend , a girl whom he loved more than anything in this world.

From that day , she would get the same dream again and again.

She never used to hide anything from rey , and had gone and told him her feelings , and even said that she does not care whether he loves her or not , because in a few days her stupid heart would realize that it was foolish , cause duh , her brain already knows what an ass Reyaansh Singhaania is , and then she would stop loving him! They both had laughed about it , and then Rey had given her a tight hug , saying that her this nature is the reason why she is his best friend.

From that day , their friendship hadn't been affected , they were still best friends , kria didn't have strong feelings for him till now so she never let it come in between their friendship.

Kria entered the college , she went to the fire escape , as she had received a message from Rey to come there , it was their "adda" to bunk classes , and hide from everyone.

Kria opened the door , and saw rey and his girlfriend kissing each other , she closed her eyes.

"Idiots! Get a room."

She yelled. They move back.

"What are you doing here Kria?"

Rey asked , sounding shocked. Kria opened her eyes in shock , and then saw his girlfriend taani , giving her one of her smirks , and she understood what had happened! She looked at Rey.

"Actually , I didn't want to attend the lecture! So came here. I didn't really know , you and taani were here..."

"Okay , okay! Taani you leave , I need to speak to Kria about something , I'll meet you in the canteen love?"

"Sure Rey! I love you."

"I love you too now bye."

Taani walked away , giving a smirk to kria. And , this is the only thing she had hidden from Rey. Taani doesn't love him , she finds him her prized possession , and she does not leave any opportunity showing this possession off to people.

"Kria!"

"Yes rey?"

"I made a mistake."

"What?"

He held her hand , and went on his knees. What the hell is he doing! Her heart beats increased.

"I am sorry! I really am , I just blurted out about your feelings to Taani! She is making a fuss about it , gosh! So , I am saying sorry from her behalf even before she does anything."

"Why do you think she will do anything?"

"Love makes you do crazy things!"

"Get up idiot! And anyways , I told you na , my heart realized how foolish it is , so chill na!"

"Gosh! Girl , you're the best you know?"

"Ya! And you should be thankful that God bestowed a girl like me to be your best friend , or else you wouldn't have remained sane till now."

"Oh! Ya right , like your very sane!"

Rey said rolling his eyes.

"Negative and negative makes a positive , so two insane people make sane!"

Rey laughed ,and took her in a side hug.

"You're crazy!"

"That toh I am!"

She giggled , feeling butterflies in her stomach. She shrugged them off. How is she supposed to tell Rey? That his dear girlfriend has already started her games.

The dream never ended , it came again and again and kria felt weird now. Why would she be going away from Rey?

She wanted to speak about it to Rey , she called him . He picked it after few calls.

"Kria! Kya hua? Why are you calling so late at night?"

"Rey , I wanted to tell you something."

"Can you tell me later? Actually taani wanted to video chat!"

"Okay fine. Bye!"

She cuts the call , and slept again. The next day , she saw rey in the class.

"Rey!"

Rey turned , and smiled at her.

"Now can I say?"

Rey narrowed his eyes , asking what she meant , and then he realized.

"Haan ji bolo."

Kria sat beside him.

"Rey actually since the day..."

Her sentence was left incomplete , when taani came and gave him a hug.

"Hey taani."

"Hi Rey , can you help me in something?"

Rey looked at kria and gave her a two minutes look , she nods sighing , he smiled and went with taani. Seeing him go , kria realized the meaning of her dream.

Kria sat in the canteen , taani sent her a photo. It was of her and Rey , on a bike ride and taani kissing his cheek.

Kria rolled her eyes and messaged back.

"Hogaya Tera?"

Rey had already shown her this picture , which was almost 5 months old. Why is she sending it again.

"Kria , aise kyun bol rahi ho? I am just sharing this picture with you sweetie."

"Look , don't sweetie me kay? I know what you are! And yeah , I am so not interested in seeing your and rey's pictures , so please.."

"Why? Are you jealous? Seeing rey's love for me?"

"Why should I be jealous huh? Rey is happy with you , and I know that. So why do you want me to adore all your mushy pictures? Ask your boyfriend , I hate PDA!"

"Ouch! I seriously smell jealousy , come on admit it your jealous."

"No! I am not jealous. Cause I know , this relationship won't last forever. Kay? And because I know Rey deserves someone else and not you! So please. Spare me girl!"

Kria switched off her phone after sending the message. Idiot!

Kria's Pov

I walked into my room , and finally switched on my phone. I saw rey's 15 missed calls , god! With 20 messages , I opened one message and I was numb.

"Call me right now bitch!"

I stared at the screen , he had never called me that , I scrolled up , they were all the same. I don't know what happened but I just threw my phone away. The bell rang , but I didn't open the door , kaka did. I was looking at my fallen phone , when I felt someone turn me.

I saw Rey , his eyes were filled with rage.

"How dare you! You bitch!"

I stared at him in horror , what was wrong with him.

"What happened Rey?"

"What happened!"

He laughed , I was numb.

"Kria Ghai , you're the most meanest person I have seen. You couldn't have me , so you just make my girlfriend feel that she does not deserve me! Wow!"

"Re-rey , I ca-can ex..

"NO! You don't have to! I just know every freaking bullshit. What did you think huh? You'll make taani feel so inferior that she'll break up with me and you would come and heal my wounds? Downright disgusting Kria! Disgusting!"

He pushed me , I was way too numb to react , my hand hit the table and it hurt!

"I thought , your different. But no! You're a bitch kria! How stupid I was , how could I not think that love makes you do crazy things applies to you as well! But no , it's not love , it's pure obsession. You're obsessed kria!"

"Rey.."

"Don't even take my name!"

"I hate you Kria Ghai!"

"Listen to me once?"

I said timidly , tears forming in my eyes. Rey looked at me , his expressions softened.

"Say."

"R-e.."

I stopped , and then continued.

"I never wanted to make taani feel inferior or superior , I do love you , but my love for you is not more than my respect for our friendship , I would never do anything to harm your relationship with taani. Yes! I wrote that taani does not deserve you , and I will stand by that. Cause if I truly loved my boy friend , I would have not flaunted him . My thought that taani does not deserve you , does not decide whether she deserves you or not , it is my thought . What people say should never affect your relationship , neither should you care about it! I really thought you understood me , but I was wrong! You don't. Calling my love for you an obsession is disrespecting my feelings. You have never done this , at least my best friend never did! You're not the guy I had fallen in love with , and guess what , today my heart actually realized , what a fool it was. I tried my best to never let my feelings overcome our friendship and succeeded , but in a wink , you let your feelings for taani come in between our friendship!"

"Kria."

He came to me , I moved back. I just realized what my dream had actually meant , and I would change the meaning! I would walk away from his life , but with pride in myself , and no pains!

I showed him my hand.

"That is the door Reyaansh Singhaania. You may leave , and have a nice time with your girlfriend! And I am sorry to say , your best friend just died because of shock! You have nothing left to do in this house , so please go!"

"Kria.."

"GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE AND MY LIFE! AND NEVER EVER TAKE MY NAME YOU JERK!"

He held my injured hand.

"Kaka! Rey ko please yaha se le jaiye."

I didn't look at him , he went away. Tears fell from my eyes and I fell down on my bed crying. I fell asleep soon.

Rey walked into his room , and threw everything possible. His eyes were red with crying! What had he just done. How could he do this! He was a jerk , she was correct!

He fell down on his knees crying.

"Am sorry Kria! I really am. I was too scared , too scared to tell you my feelings on time. I overshadowed them , I made myself love taani , so that I forget you. I wasn't as bold as you to come and tell my feelings to you. But , when you did , it was too late. I couldn't break her heart , I wasn't that selfish! I knew you were happy for me , I knew that you never let your feelings come in between our friendship. Every freaking day , seeing your smile , it killed me , knowing the amount of pain it took you to hide those feelings! Kria , I just lost my cool , cause your message made me think that you never really loved me! I know I didn't have a right to judge that. I had actually broken up with taani , because I wasn't that selfless either! And the message that you didn't care , made my heart churn! I am sorry!"

He cried and cried.

The next day , kria entered the college. She saw Rey , he was with Vicky , Vicky nudged Rey , who looked away. Kria walked to rey and handed him a box.

He looked at her.

"Kria's last wish , was to give you back all the things you have ever given her , and I am just fulfilling it. So here."

Rey looked at it in shock. Kria walked away , when rey went behind her and turned her with force.

"Usually dead people don't come alive. But you in filmy movies , they do!"

Rey spoke. Kria looked at him. Rey pinned her hair back and kissed her. Kria was shocked! But she replied back. Rey slowly pulled back.

"Kria ghai! You have been tolerating this ass since childhood , as a friend. You never hide anything from this jerk! You were bold , but you know this jerk , he was a coward , he did tell you everything but not the most important thing! The thing that He freaking loved you since first year of college! He was scared of rejection , and this fright made him pay a huge price yesterday. I broke up with taani kria , even before she sent you those messages ,I thought you were just joking with me about your feelings and I got upset , I know , I bloody know it does not justify my reason for behaving so rudely with you! But you know , I have got the biggest punishment , and that was seeing you in tears kria , and that to because of me! And maybe this punishment gave me that much needed brains and strength to say this to you in front of everyone. I love you Kria , just you! You're my life , your smile is the reason I smile , you bring out the real me , you're the only girl whom I am scared to say I love you , and you know why? Because I truly mean it! Truth is always harder to speak than false. Kria I may be a jerk , an ass , an idiot , but I can be a good boyfriend a great lover and yet be your same best friend. I swear I would never bring back the coward Rey! I swear I'll make it up to you. I can't promise you about not getting angry or anything , you know me right? I didn't disrespect your feelings kria , I misunderstood them."

He finally took a breath. Kria looked at him , the whole college was silent.

"Reyaansh Singhaania!"

Kria took a deep breath. Rey looked at her , she looked at him with a straight face.

"Kuch zyaada hi cheesy nahi hogaya?"

And she burst out laughing , the whole college did. Rey looked at her pouting. Kria hugged him tight.

"I love you too! I can tolerate this jerk Rey , but yes , next time you push me , I promise to you , I would not spare you! Because before being your loving girlfriend , I would always be your nagging best friend!"

"I don't mind! Cause I won't ever do that again!"

Saying this he twirled her. All hoot for them , and then he place her down.

"I still hate PDA!"

Saying this she ran away to the fire escape. Rey smiled and went behind her.

She looked behind one last time , he was nowhere , her heart pained , but then she felt someone hold her hand. She looked aside , and saw him , he smiled took her hand and kissed it. She smiled back , and they walked hand in hand together to a new and better future.
