Chapter 16

"Come sweetheart, you must be tired, I show you our bedroom"

He shrugged off all his thought and dropped his gaze at her; she smiled in back nodding her head slight and followed Arnav through the hall, dining room, office, kitchen, then he ushered her upstairs to their bedroom. The room was huge and comfortable; the bed was covered with the neatly colorful bed sheets and coverlet, and gingham curtains hung at each of the two windows. The view beyond the windows delighted Khushi as she stood close to the window and looked out through the mirror.

"I hope you wouldn't get bored in my absence"

Arnav came closer to her, standing at her back and then slipping his arms around her he had pulled her closed to his chest, "I think I'll enjoy here"

She felt his arms scorching her through the barrier of her clothing as he tightened his grip nuzzling at her throat, "and I thought you're going to say, you'll miss me badly as I'll miss you when you would be here and I'would be busy attending the boring meetings"

Kissing her throat, bring his lips to her neck he whispered dully and in spite the effect of his closeness, she felt content to feel something strong in his voice for her.

"I don't want to be a nagging wife Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada"She replied playfully though she wanted to say something more"something that he wanted to hear but she restricted her heart to do that.

He captured her shoulders and turned around her in his arm,lifting up her chin with his fingers so he could stare deep in her gaze, "but I like my nagging wife more than wise wife"

he lowered his head and caressed her lips with his tongue, outlining the contours and she gasped.

He smiled to see her close eyes in bliss and whispered touching them again with his, "I want to hear she miss me in every moment when I'm not close to her"He curled one arm about her tiny waist and pulled her against his chest,she held her breath for a moment soaking his words in her heart,there was so deep emotion filled in his voice that she had forgotten everything, "I want her to say she feels incomplete without me like I feel without her"His other hand moved to the center of her back, forcing her body to molding with her,he sucked in a breath and then letting his breath to mingle with hers,and then softly,very tenderly his lips covered hers,he didn't know why he was saying all these things to her but he wanted to confess his emotions,The caress changed from teasing to intense as he deepened the kiss, thrusting boldly with his tongue,a moan slipped her parted mouth and she raised her arm,encircled his neck forcing his mouth down,and then moaned as the hot stab of his tongue explored,taste,plundered her mouth, "I feel incomplete without you"She whispered against his lips and felt him still for a moment before a smile replaced his wet lips and he again savored the taste of her lips molding with his,She went limp in surrender in his possessive hold and Arnav's kisses were gentled, softened, his tongue withdrawing to outline the contour of her parted lips and her body shivered with desires.he knew his own control was loosing and if he wouldn't stop he might do something that he would regret of feel guilt later.

"I should pull away"he groaned against her mouth fighting with his emotions and she roused too from that passionate moment,His closeness had a physical,emotional impact on her senses and she felt herself grow giddy for their intimacy,realizing what she just confessed to herself she gasped long pulling back her composure and looked up at him who seemed struggled with his desires.

Arnav had seen the play of emotions on her face and forgetting his own battle with his emotions he cupped her cheek,concern rushed through him as he saw her swollen lips from his passionate kisses, "sweetheart,did I hurt you?"

Guilt covered his features and she forgot her own turmoil seeing the immense concern in his eyes for her,words seemed stuck in her throat,he waited expectantly and she appeared to be having difficulty choosing her words though she wanted to speak aloud it wasn't he who was hurting her but was she who couldn't have come up with her own demons.

"I'm sorr.i----"

His words died in his throat as she leaned in and kissed his lips gently before whispering against them.

"don't say this,you can't hurt me ever"

This time their kiss was more gentle,more soften than before filled with content,trust and understanding.

"you must be tired,take some rest while I say Mrs.Jain to cook something for our lunch"

Pulling back he kissed her lips briefly and spoke staring back at her.

"you have a cook here"I thought no one was living here"

she looked startled at this piece of information,he settled her in his arms more comfortably gazing back at her, "Mrs.Jain is serving our family since I was child.before leaving this city I gave her responsibility to look after this house as she was the only person I could trust,she lives here with his husband Mr.Jain,she is very nice lady I hope you'll like her too"

A twinge of proud rushed through her veins to think indeed her husband was a honorable man who couldn't have careless about his responsibility.

"I would like to meet her" She smiled too pleased to know more about Him,about his past life.

"I go down and talk to her beside I'll have to attend some calls while you take some rest"

He kissed her gently before turning on his heel walking towards the door, she sighed and turned toward the bed throwing herself on the warm,soft mattress, a gasp of tiredness slipped her lips as her eyes felt heavy with sleep and she realized she was indeed very tired, and a quick nap was a good idea.
