CHAPTER 3: THE NEWS

What the hell am I doing… I cannot do this.. Fianc… god Nk.. he never told me abt this…. Does he have feelings for me… damit man… I've always thought he was like my bhai…. Shit now wat to do.. I'd defo have to talk with him tomorrow…… thinking all this kushi planted a fake smile on her face and talked with others…. Her eyes met Arnav's for a sec and she divert it… he looks sleep deprived…… of course he'd look like that… might have got night company for the whole month unlike someone like me who was just sulking…. Stop it… stop thinking of him….. she waked herself and brought herself back into the conversation with nani…..

Wow she is gorgeous…. She is fully clothed but looks sexy man… wonder how she tastes now…. Her neck is so inviting… and those lips….. What the hell is wrong with me… great now I'm a nymphomaniac…. Lusting over my future bhabi… what is wrong with me…. His thought process was disturbed when he heard Nk asking him something…

Listing to this Arnav visibly paled… he grunted a don't know and left announcing he had an on cal now and left…. god I'm gonna teach you an unforgettable lesion my brother…. This is gonna be so sweet….. thinking…Nk smirked looking at his back… which dint go unnoticed by Kushi….. before she could ask anything she was bombarded by questions from the family.

This is so awesome….. He heard anji scream…. See bhai bhabz is so sweet… she agreed to stay here for sometime… I'll get company at least till payal bhabz comes back…..

Bitiya these jelabies as delicious….. said nani while popping another one into her month… this was accompanied by a nod by mami who was doing the same… Arnav had an amused look on his face…. He found his family liking Kushi immediately and also the jelabies…at the same moment kushi felt some one watch her…. Devi maiyya did he recognize me….. I knew it… I shd have been more careful…. When suddenly she felt Nk hugging her… she froze… Nk kissed her temple and whispered… don't worry… nothing is gonna happen… all is well sweet heart…. Hearing him… kushi smiled weekly and heard the whole family hooting except for Arnav….

What the hell is he doing…. He is shameless… burned Arnav seeing Nk hug and kiss kushi…. Public display what is he doing….. Bitiya where are you r parents dear.. he heard nani question her…. My parents are no more… they passed away 3 months ago…. Said a teary kushi… Nk squeezed her hand gently and anji hugged her saying that bhabz now we are your family… chill yaar….. a warm smile spread through her face which made Arnav very happy… he was surprised by his actions…. First he felt angry on Nk for touching her next felt a painful tug seeing tears in her eyes and now felt relief wash over seeing her smile…. Unbelievable… he whispered shaking his head and leaving for the night…

Sir where are v going tonight???? Asked a serious Kushal…

Going to Gurgaon tonight.. Will comeback tomorrow…..

Yes sir…. He opened to door for Arnav and got into the driver seat after closing the door. The drive was quite as usual…. Kushal was a worried man… he dint expect Nk to announce Kushi as his fianc to all…. While his thinking was shuttling between this and the road whereas Arnav's mind went back to the time he had met Kushal for the first time

Nk had got Kushal for him as he had prob maintaining a driver for long…. His colorful nights and string of girlfriends were always on the tabloids as his drivers could not stop gossiping abt his night rendezvous. He was always on the receiving point of nani and mami's mourning every morning. He was fed up and so had to sough help from Nk….his first thought of Kushal was nothing special… he looked ok but had this innocent and delicate look in his eyes.. This was weird for Arnav… Kushal was a lean guy with a one day stubble and loosely fitted clothes……nothing special except for his eyes…. Strange he had thought…… life could not have been better after that day…. Arnav never got such an excellent driver in his life. On the very first day he had helped sneak in Arnav into his room without nani's knowledge…..in the morning Arnav found a glass of lemon juice waiting for him and when he got down he was really surprised when nani had not given him accusing looks or thrown taunts at him…..

Arnav smiled at the memory…. He had reached his destination and attended the meeting…. While coming back he noted the look on Kushal… he looked different… if he was wrong….Kushal looked taller… he looked manlier and his eyes held a serious look….. his voice was much hoarser and most of all he look muscular with well fitted clothes… someone was up to something when I was not there in Delhi he thought with a smirk….

Coming back home… Arnav noted something he dint feel the same anymore with Kushal around…. He heard a knock followed by Anji coming in….. Bhai I need to talk to you ……

He raised his eyebrows asking her to continue…..

Bhai….

Actually bhai….. you see I'm actually…

Out with it anji… wat is troubling you asked a very irritated Arnav

If I said Arnav was shocked,,, is an understatement…. He was baffled… he felt the room shaking and next thing all heard was Anji's screaming for help…

And all found the mighty Arnav fainted on the floor……
