Chapter 30: Truth revelation

Jiya: ''Papa I told you nah i don't want to eat anything why you forcing me?''. She was showing stubbornness.

Arnav: ''I had promised you nothing happen to your mumma I would bring her back..doll..'' He careless her cheeks sweetly and dipped the roti in the dal and extended toward her mouth. She tilted her head aside making him grumbled. ''Do you want your mumma scold your papa of not taking care of her princess in her absence''. He get sadden eyeing her.

Jiya: ''Haww why she should scold you..i won't let anything to you''. She kissed his cheeks and he gesture her to eat. She pouted and began eating obediently. She was not letting him to go anywhere and clutches his collar possessively. He was trying hard not to let his pain visible on his face and immediately made her sleep by telling story. Sooner she drifted to sleep and he made her lay on the bed and switched of the light before moving off.

Arnav was pacing in anger while playing jatin words. His eyes were red so was jaw and fist clenched. I kill you if you dare to harm khushi..damn khushi why you marry him? Don't you have trust on my love..?'' he closed his eyes painfully remembering how they become one and were going to get married and everything get changed by one accident. He lost his khushi that time but now he won't let her go anywhere. Three long years he waited for her and gulp this pain thinking about her betrayal. He still remember the horrified day when he lost his khushi forever.

*Flashback*

Khushi was playing in the ground along with some kids with her eyes blindfolded. Tears already rolled his eyes the moment his eyes fell upon him. His eyes flickered admiring her lovingly. Her innocence, her antics always attract him. He keep staring at her with viciousness in his eyes. Her infectious smile reached her honey brown eyes. She is the most special women in his life god had ever gifted him. He cannot breathe without her. Without waiting for anymore time longer, he headed toward her with slow strides and hugged her from behind. Her entire body jerked recognizing his touch. Her heartbeat went up. A kind of jolt tempted that she always felt when arnav used to touch her. She is mistaken. How this is possible arnav is died she is again hallucinating him. She moved her hand near her heart to maintain her self control and shrugged away the man who was holding her from behind and tried to walk away when he again pulled her back making his breathe fan on her neck. His one hand rested around her waist and other move near her heart. She closed her eyes to surpass his thoughts and mumbled. He smiled by her restraining and remove the cloth by making her turn toward him.

Arn..vvv?? Her feet trembled the moment she meet his eyes. She inched back by seeing him before her eyes. She cannot believe and shook her head thinking she has been hallucinating. His lips curved into smile.

Arnav(Cupping her cheeks): ''Maine kaha tha na main vapas ayunga..sirf tumhare pyaar ne mujhe bachaya hain, khushi..'' (I told you na I will be back..only your love saved me ...only for you khushi..'') He smile intently kissing her knuckles. She looked on emotional. Tears already blur her view. My arnav is alive? She was fighting for her tears and was trying hard not let her pain visible to him. He hugged her tightly but he feel something odd by her behavior like she is not happy greeting him. He broke apart by her coldness. She pleased him with an odd smile that make him confused like she is a mere stranger. Her face expression conveying something different.

Arnav: ''What happen khushi? You seems not happy by my presence.. Is everything alright..?'' He asked concernedly touching her cheeks and she inched back before he lean forward.

Khushi: ''Excuse me..who the hell gave you right to touch me..don't you dare come near me understood!!'' She remarked raising her voice and began walking away. He chased her and blocked her way. He was hell confused and cannot fathom why she is behaving like that.

Arnav: ''Khushi what's wrong with you why you behaving like this?..its me your arnav!!'' She rolled her eyes indifferently by his queries and turn to leave when he grabbed her hand and pulled her closer. He opened his mouth to say something but stumbled seeing vermilion on her partition and leave her hand. She smirked eyeing him by the rage he was showing.

''You..r..marri..ed?'' He shrieked. His heart swallowed and breathe almost stopped.

Caretaker: ''Mrs kapoor, you are here..your baby is crying since longer time..'' A lady interrupted. Khushi immediately took jiya in her embrace and began swinging her to make her calm. She was chanting with her in a baby voice. Painful anger captured his mind when the realization drawn upon him. Khushi is married and have a baby. Without looking at him once, she hurriedly ran away by his demurrer.

The door of elevator was about to closed when arnav went inside. How much she is trying to avoid him but yet he is not leaving her alone. Khushi's gaze strode toward the figure, standing in front of her with furious. Only question one was haunting her for the moment how can she make him understand they are not meant for each other. Everything is changed. He called her but she is avoiding his gaze and pressing the button with shivered hand. He called her again but there was no response from her. She only wanted to go off from this place anyhow. Grabbing her shoulder, he shook her.

Arnav: ''Why khushi..why you do this to me? I had loved you so much why you not wait for me..how can you marry someone else? Tell me got dammit!!'' His voice was harsh but painful. Taking a sharp breathe, she met his eyes.

Khushi: ''What do you expect then! I should wait for you and shed tears in your memories and spoil my life?'' A smug smile appear on her face. 'A person that is not capable to spend few bugs on my clothes.. why I spoil my life living with a beggar like you.. I also have dreams to have a better and secure future and jatin is a perfect man who can fulfill all my needs rather in terms of financial or physic...'' He was taken aback by her words. Her each and every word stabbing him harshly.

Khushi!!!!!!!! He screamed. He raised his hand to slap her before she complete her words but then stopped feeling vulnerable. He never imagine to hurt her. He cupped her cheeks lovingly and begged her to stop.

Arnav(Cupping her cheeks): 'How could you say like that..i know you are lieing I can see it in your eyes''. She smirked and arched her eyebrow defiantly waving his hand off roughly.

Khushi: ''Look Arnav either you believe or not I don't give a damn..the truth is that I never love you..i was attraction from my side. Everything is fake. All I did was to just prove my point that nothing is unattainable for me..the day you mistrust me, I realize its not love. I wanted to move on but you humiliate me and I wanted to teach you lesson for messing with me so I made a plan and went to your mumma home accordingly but you not ready to believe me so sold my body to the most arrogant man to make you believe and then we..'' She laughed wickedly.

Arnav: ''You mean what we share was nothing to you..'' He paused not really digesting her revelation.

Khushi: ''Not at all arnav...that night we had sex. Everything was fake. But next day you proposed me for marriage that was totally unexpected. I wanted to get rid off you sooner. I was going to dumb you on marriage day but unfortunately I get the news of your death. My line would be automatically cleared. I felt relief and then decided to marry a rich guy and settle my life''. Tears streamed down his cheeks listening the bitter truth but he keep denying. He still have a ray of hope it was all lie.

Khushi: ''I admit I have attracted to you but it can never be love..it was all lust and that I realize after meeting jatin. I only love my husband..he is the perfect man that always bring happiness in my life giving all luxurious and wealth I always wanted that you never successful in giving me. You never exist in my life. I wanted you and I got you. Come on, arnav I knew you also enjoyed the moment we shared together..right?'' He looked on shocked and delusional. Her words was getting intolerable to digest.

Arnav: ''Khushi tell me its all lie..how could you do this to me..i loved you so much I gave you my everything..my happiness..my sorrow..my love..my everything. You had made so many promises to me..all those talks and telling me how much you loved me. We made love that night!!

Khushi: ''Everything was fake arnav..i didn't mean anything. I wanted to use you once and we had so much fun enjoying day and night together, aren't we?'' She smirked. He clenched his jaws angrily. If any other girl would be in her place he would have punched her right there by breaking his trust terribly. But she is a girl he never thought to hurt her despite of how many times she broke him. His gut feeling was saying something is wrong. Her smile not reaching her eyes.

Arnav: ''Stop it khushi...Tell me you are joking..you only taught me meaning of love..i cannot live without you and i know very well you can never stoop so low that you can marry another guy for wealth and power. You leave your father house for me..wasn't you?'' His eyes began welling with tears.

Khushi: ''I left my father house not for you but for myself..he never loved me I feel saffocating around him. He always used to dominate me there is nothing to do with you and when jatin proposed for marriage why should I tolerate his cruelty and so I leave his house and marry jatin...'' He grabbed her neck harshly and his eyes splitting fire by her betrayal.

Arnav: ''You disgust me khushi..i hate myself trusting you so much I never love a girl in my entire life apart from you. You make mockery of my emotions.Why you played with my feelings?'' She shrugged him away and a sarcastic smile appear on her lips.

Khushi: ''Relax arnav, Why you are over reacting..so what I played with you we lived in 21^st century sleeping around is not a big deal. Just get out from my life I not need you anymore..anyways good luck for your future and thanks for giving me good time''. She remove money from her bag and throw it on his face. ''I never gave anything for free so keep it as your tip to spend your rest of your life and let me live peacefully without creating any hurdle into my marital life.'' Khushi walked off and he sink on the ground remembering the moments they cherished was turned into worst nightmare.

Arnav: ''How dare you khushi..how dare you cheat me. I could not tolerate all your shit..never. If you think by breaking my heart I would let you happy then you are so wrong.You marry another man for wealth right and now I will achieve the same position and gave you the same pain in return. How it felt when you love someone more than anything in this world, gave betray in return. It is not easy to get rid of Arnav Singh Raizada. You have to pay for each and every sin you committed..''He had taken an oath to him.

Arnav work hard day and night and became the biggest business man that his company was named as one of the leading among everyone. His only aim was to beat Jatin kapoor in business. He targeted him and started breaking all his contracts to gain profits. Jatin was started suffering hardship and losses that his share in business began dropping. Without having no option, he gave proposal to arnav to do partnership with him. Arnav sighed victoriously and gladly approved.

After 3 years, he went to meet khushi but this time not as a business partner of her husband but being lavanya's fiancee. Her entire world shattered when jatin make an announcement of lavanya and his business partner, arnav's engagement on jiya's birthday.

*Flashback end*

A soft hand on his shoulder brought him back into present. He looked back tearfully and saw lavanya behind him. Wiping his tears off roughly from his cheeks, he straightened himself.

Lavanya: ''Asr, khushi ka kuch pata chala?'' ('Did you get any information about her?'') He remain numb. 'Everything will be alright don't worry!! She hugged him sideways and support him. 'One matter is still bothering me if you both so much in love with each other then why she married my brother?''

Arnav: ''That's what I wanted to know lavanya. That day I completely broke down when khushi told me that she..'' he gulped painfully remembering her harsh words. 'She told me she marred jatin for his property and used me..''

Lavanya: What?? He nodded. 'But this is not true its quite impossible as i witness many times bhai brought some gifts like jewelry on her anniversary or birthdays and she literally denied and get angry on him spending money on her. She always keep herself busy on kitchen and mingle with jiya most of time like she is avoiding him deliberately. Many times I seen her sleeping in jiya room and when dadi protested she started sleeping in Bhai room but once dadi told me she have seen blanket on ground in their room and then create a big fuss in the house but jatin bhai always defend her. I believe they never share any relation like husband and wife its only pretend for outside world...'' He looked on suspicious.

Arnav: ''If khushi have decided to marry jatin then there might be something big reason behind else she never agree to marry anyone else so easily..she used to worship and loved me like madly and if she took the decision of nameless marriage then there would be a grave reason behind it..'' His chain of thoughts disturbed by the phone rang showing unknown number. He get alerted and signal inspector about the phone call. Police already present tapping all their phones and now if it is jatin then he have to talk with him for sometime so that they able to tap his number.

''Arnav..'' Her soft voice echoed in his eardrum. He jerk out of skin and smile cheerfully hearing her voice.

''Khushi..?'' His eyes went toward lavanya and she gestured him to cool down.

Khushi: ''woh jatin..arnav he had made a nasty plan..he wanted to be physical with me and threaten me if I not agree then he would kill you..i hate him..do something take me away from this hell..'' She began sobbing glaring at the door fearfully.

The moment she regain conscious she get afraid seeing the unknown place. There is no one around and she was laying on the bed and room is locked. She tried to get out and began banging the door constantly but seems no one there to listen her plead. Suddenly, She hear a girl voice from other end. The voice seems familiar to her but she cannot able to recognize who it is. Jatin with some other girl..who is she? She was totally confused and began pacing in the room aimlessly. She started search every cupboard and desk so that she able to find a way to contact arnav. Her eyes twinkle hopefully seeing an mobile along with different Sim cards while opening the drawer. She immediately take it out and fixed it. Taking a deep breathe, she murmur name to start the mobile and finally she able to call him.

Arnav: ''Khushi tum..where are you? How you got this mobile? Tell me where he hide you? He pounced in desperation.

Khushi: ''I don't know arnav..i don't know anything where I am its an isolated place and there is only one entrance to go out and it is locked..I am scared arnav..'' She began weeping clutching the phone.

Arnav: ''Relax khushi stop crying...I would take you out sooner...I promise..''

Khushi: ''Arnav, I am sorry its all my fault..i am cursing the day when I get eloped ..i died every moment by disrespecting our love calling it as a sin and now I am paying for it...I wanted to tell you everything why i..''

Arnav: ''We would discuss about it later..'' He interrupted.

Khushi: ''No arnav..i wanted to clear everything don't know if I get chance again i survive or not after that..''

Arnav: ''Shut up khushi..nothing would happen to you..do you got that I bring you back anyhow..''

Khushi: ''Arnav please listen to me once. That day when you came to meet me I wanted to blunt out everything all my sorrow and grief but he stopped me if I utter my mouth then he...''

Beep!! Beep!! The phone get disconnected.

''Khushi..khushi..!!'' Who is he..answer me..is it jatin? The phone being snatched by someone immediately.

Inspector: ''That's it !! Phone being tapped..its from juhu apartment...'' Arnav smiled and everyone rushed toward destination.

Khushi gasped turning her gaze and stepped back seeing the rage in his eyes. She felt a burning sensation on her face in such a force that she lost her balance and her head being hit against the wall making it bleed. She felt a sharp pain on her head making her eyes get heavy. She saw a glimpse of a girl behind jatin and before she able to see her face her eyes get blur and she loose her conscious. Jatin went to hold her when sofiya stopped him.

Jatin: ''Oh my god she is bleeding..'' He get panic. Shrugging sofiya hand off he walked toward her and laid her down on the bed and smashed water droplets to regain her.

Sofiya: ''Let it be jatin..she deserve every pain indeed more than that..'' She stated callously and pulled him away from her hold allowing him to stood.

Jatin: ''No sofiya...this is wrong. I already make her suffered a lot and now I can't take this anymore. She have no fault in all this..arnav ruined your life then why you punishing this poor girl..i cannot torture her more...that's it..'' he remarked sternly making her fumed.

Sofiya: ''Oh wow that means you are started falling for this bi*** who is the main reason of my destroyer. She have also started creating magic on you.That's good.. go and taste her..'' She mocked clapping her hands. He feel disgusted by his dirty talks.

Jatin: ''What non sense you r talking..how can you think like that..i only loved you that's why i..'' He stopped defiantly speaking further. 'leave it..its useless to make you understand..''

Sofiya: ''That's why you didn't touch her till now isn't it?'' He shoved her hand off and look at khushi sympathetically. His heart went heavy holding the truth. He was getting vulnerable. If sofiya came to know about actual reason why he never force upon khushi even though how many time sofiya urge him to marked her but he always maintain distance from her. Sofiya cupped his cheeks and make him look at her. ''Listen jatin ..i am requesting you only one night stand with her.''

Jatin: ''Are you freaking out of your mind sofiya? Just look at her, she is so innocent and you wanted me to rape her. Being a women how can you think so cheap about another women I cannot force her..I am not an animal to take advantage of a girl being in helpless state and upon that without her will...no never...'' She rolled her eyes and argued with him holding his hand.

Sofiya: ''One last time please listen to me..Jatin you can't back off..you promised me you would do everything for me. This is not rape she is your wife and after that you divorce her an..''

''SHE IS NOT MY WIFE, SOFIYA..WE ARE NOT MARRIED!! SHE IS YET AN UNWED MOTHER AND I AM STILL A BACHELOR...''

Her eyes widen in shocked as soon as his words escaped from his mouth. She shook her head in refusal and inched back holding her head.

Jatin: ''This is true, sofiya..i never married khushi..i keep everything hidden because you are too adamant for our alliances. I have no other option rather than playing this marriage drama. You are not ready to listen anything so I inquire my lawyer to make the fake marriage certificate and make khushi agree to signed into it. As you remember our marriage happened in court but the papers we signed in front of lawyer was fake. That lawyer hired by me. I neither filled her partition nor make her wear Neptune thread.'' He sighed. She rose up in anger feeling cheated.

Sofiya: ''You bloody cheat.. how dare you make me fool''. She punched him on his face and began getting angry. She ran a frustrated hand on her hairs thinking if this news get hold by arnav then everything would be finished. No one stopped them being one. A chill run down her spine thinking if they get married then? She started wriggling twisting her hand in air. Exhaling sharp breathe, She composed herself controlling her agony and then something clicked her mind. A creepy smile appear on her face glaring at lifeless body of khushi.

''Poor khushi!!'' She laughed evilly.
