Chapter 28: Fanaa

Sofiya: ''Khushi gupta.. you have done a grave mistake by throwing me out from his house. He only belongs to me. I would throw you out from his life once and for all. You have to paid off for this insult big time that you regret whole life messing with sofiya malik. I snatch each and every single happiness from your life so brutally that you never realize how this happen...I would not let this insult go so easily..you Fu**** him..you bloody fu**** him now you will get a big punished by committing this sin.You have no idea what is suppose to happen within few hours that would shrugged the entire meaning of your existence. You are day dreams of marrying him?'' She laughed cunningly as if someone cracked the joke and leaning down to carry a thin glass of piece. She comprehend long time back someone knocking the door from outside continuously and it didn't took her longer to realize who it could be. Her biggest pawn who would helped her in taking revenge for this disgrace. Sofiya purposely standing in such a way that face clearly visible to him through dice mirror. Jatin panicked seeing the disheveled condition of room everything is messed up. He was trying hard to stop her by his plead but seems she is not in a state to listen anyone. He was banging the door harshly to break the door.

Jatin: ''Sofiya what you doing? Stop your foolishness..open the door right now!!'' He was getting scared seeing the different rage in her eyes and tried to reach her by punching the door by his legs before she do any stupidity.

Sofiya: ''Khushi gupta..your destiny is in my hands''. Her eyes were red and she have no control over her action. His heart was literally sinking by her miserable state. She smiled bitterly looking at him and bend down to retrieve the thin long piece of glass against her palm.

Holding hand in hand with their still glued into each other, Arnav and khushi entered raizada mansion adoring a broad smile on their faces to seek his elder sister, anjali di permission before stepping into beautiful life ahead. Remembering the nights and morning events, a beautiful smile creep on khushi's lips. Last two days was the most beautiful moments they share in togetherness expressing their heart out and bestowing their love into new heights. Her face glowing furiously remembering what change bring within her getting loved by him. She got everything and now she just wanted to name their relationship as husband and wife and wished to live her life into his arms forever without any hindrance. Her body is still arching by their passionate love making and it is not hidden from him. There is not a string of guilt displaying into her eyes in fact she is feeling proud being marked by him and they are one soul now. He keep caressing her cheeks fondly and she rested her head into his arms sliding her hand around him to make herself realize it is not any dream, they were actually going to marry and becoming one. Her eyes twinkled in happiness. She can still feels his tempting lips all over her body but instantly slapped herself and get back to reality. Suddenly her smile began fading and nervousness reflecting through her face she wondering about di reaction. She gulped.

Khushi's hand wrapped around his shoulder to hide her fear from meeting her sister though anjali di is very fond of her and always furnish their bond but she still feel scared wondering did she accept her? What would be her reaction is she came to know she slept with him before marriage? Did she get angry crossing the limits? She chewed her nails and lifted her eyelids to meet his eyes standing next to him and he assured her blinking his eyes. Well, how much he gave her assurance but deep down he himself feeling hesitant to face his di. After shyam fiasco he create a big walls between them despite of her begging numerous time, he didn't gave damn to her nor answer any of her call in these days. But now he is feeling guilty punishing her for the mistake she never abolished. Its all shyam fault! If that day anjali won't stop him at right time then he might had killed him. She is just wanted to protect him from falling in his trap. Sometimes his agony taken over him and he do things he didn't want to. Khushi make him realize his mistake but he have no courage to face her feeling very guilty of his behavior.

''How he going to face her?'' How many times she tried to converse with him and seek apology but he never care to listen any of her plead and make himself away from her. She is more than mother to him, a person who always love him unconditionally apart of showing her annoyance for his anger, she always handle him with politeness by her selfless nature. She is the only one that make him realize khushi's importance in his life.

More than anything he hated himself. He behave so rudely with her and accuse her for that bloody shyam. Asshole! Today is the biggest day. He is going to marry his love of life. He make an oath to make everything alright and bring khushi and his di together into his life forever.

Holding khushi hand tenderly arnav lead her inside entangle her hand possessively as his life completely dependent upon her and both heading toward anjali's room. Taking a deep breathe, khushi follow his steps reluctantly. With a jerk, anjali get alerted getting up when the door flew opened and both barged in. She turned away hurriedly and wiped her tears before being noticed to buried down her sorrow she holding deep inside.

Arnav: Diii!! He called in a cracking voice. By listening his soothing voice, she straighten herself and looked back at him trying to smile. Arnav glance at khushi before advancing toward anjali and kneel down holding his ears.

Arnav: ''Di..i am sorry! Please mujhe maaf kardo''. (''Forgive me di?)'' He spoke apologetically kneading his head before her eyes. Anjali melt down gradually and hugged him crying her heart out seeing her brother after ages. She cannot express in words how much she missed him. Her happiness have no boundary. She hugged him and gesture him to sit beside her.

Anjali: ''Chotte don't say like that its my all my fault i..''. he stopped her in denial and both keep chanting open heartily erasing all the trashes between them while khushi saw the cute sibling talks with a wide grin on her face.

Jatin hurriedly dashed inside the ward before meeting the doctor. He feel tugged in his heart seeing the lifeless sight of sofiya. He yet can't believe it she tried to commit suicide and the reason is unknown to him. She is repeatedly blabbering only one things she wanted to die. By asking her several times, she finally shot out in her weak voice.

Sofiya: ''I don't want to live..i want to die'' Tears rolled down his cheeks seeing the her wounded wrist. Thankfully by god grace he reached in right time to save her else he cannot imagine what has happened if he might be late for a moment later. He sat beside her and tried to touch her face but she shifted her face to other side. ''I don't want to live..let me die..why you saved me?'' She sobbed uncontrollably.

Jatin: Sofiya why you did this? Don't you think once about me? How I am going to lived without you''. She smirked inwardly knowing about his unleashed feelings and implement her sharp brain to manipulate him against her biggest enemy. She burst into fake crying resting her head on his shoulder and began mumbled mercilessly.

Sofiya: ''I have no reason to live..i am completely ruined...he ruined me... he cheated me jatin..i hate him..i hate him...he slept with other girl and I can't able to stop him''. He patted her cheeks soothingly and trying to guess about whom she is talking. His mind get alerted thinking about her boyfriend arnav she told once. How can someone cheated her? How desperately she loved him. The same love he always wanted to see for him nevertheless it never happen and she pushed him toward khushi.

Jatin: ''I already told you he don't deserve you but you are so engrossed in his love that never realized he is using you. How many times I told you to forget him but you trusted him blindly by his fake love. He just want one thing from you and once he got it he throw you away from his life like useless stuffs''. He pounced with greeted teeth and she started crying more loudly. He tried to calm her nerve seeing her misery and pacified scooping her.

Sofiya: ''That bi*** khushi..i hate her..because of her I lost him'' He get utterly shocked. ''She is a bloody backstabber and trapped him pretending they are just friends but in reality they are in relationship and now both are getting married...i have seen their shameless acts in front of my own eyes..they were living in same roof and bed...'' She can't able to utter anything further and tucked his collar removing all her grief by wetting his shirt. He tightened his jaws controlling his rage knowing the owner of her dreadful condition.

Sofiya: ''He used me jatin..i hate myself trusting him like a fool'' He get numbed when reality by realizing the bitter truth about her. She sleep with him? He clenched the edge of the bed with his fist. The information he is getting shaken him vigorously from inside. She is not only separate a couple but also betray him knowing how much he like her yet she bloody fu**** someone else boyfriend. Disgusting women! Everything is beyond his endurance. He thought her as a well cultured and innocent was actually a filthy and shameless girl who knows inside this innocent mask reside her nastiness. Now he understand why she is not picking up his call. Numerous times he tried to contact her but he don't know she is is busy in entertaining another man.He gasped with his palm fist his nails harshly. He rose up in anger.

Sofiya: ''I can't take this shit anymore...i don't have strength left to see them so closer..i want to die''..She jerk him away and began screaming and crying terribly turning the entire hospital upside down. He cannot able to see her like this. He is trying to control her but she is not in her right sense with her hand fidgeting to lift the medical instruments from side desk to attack herself. He shuddered.

Jatin: ''Sofiya control yourself!'' He wiped away her tears and make her look into his eyes firmly.

Sofiya: ''There is nothing left to control..i am finished jatin..I am finished''. She punched his chest pushing him away and remove the saline from connected from her hand making the blood started flowing continuously. He feel the sharp pain in his heart and embraced her in his arms wiping her tears.

Jatin: ''Sofiya don't loose hope I will make everything alright..trust me?'' She put his hand on her head and take the promise to ruin their life.

Jatin: ''Jitne khoon tumne bahaya hain use teen jyada arnav ka bahega aur woh khushi use tumhare har aason ka hisab chukana padega''. ('Triple time your blood, arnav's blood shed and that khushi she will pay for making you suffer''.) He thought clutching his eyes tightly. He have lost all the insanity and ready to destroy every fiber of their so called love. He open his eyes and looked ta her intently

Jatin: ''Do you trust me?'' He asked cupping her cheeks. She nodded lightly mocking him yet unsure what he have planned. Her pair of eyes can clearly witness an indifferent look.''I promise you sofiya tonight is the last day for them, as a lovers...their love never lead into marriage indeed there would be a terrified ending for their sinful love story..'' Sofiya smiled victoriously. She have no idea what he has planned for them but whatever it is she just want arnav anyhow. Least she know what drastic change going to appear in everyone life. He made her lay down safely on the soft pillow and she closed her eyes calmly while he got up when she drifted into deep slumber.

Jatin: ''Work done?''

Shyam: ''Machli jaal mein puri tarah se fas chuki hain..ab use bahar nikalna baki hain, uske baad kaam khatam..'' (Fish is completely trapped from every side and now only need to take her out after that everything is dead end.) Jatin smile victoriously.

Jatin: ''Good job!!'' He remarked and his next statement make shyam stunned. ''Kill Arnav singh raizada?'' He spoke in a stern yet rigid voice glancing at sofiya who is sleeping peacefully but still there is a kind of pain visible through her face. He made up his mind. They pushed her toward hell so brutally that she tried to embrace the death. How can someone stoop so low? They have to pay for ruining her life. He can go to any length rather it cost to someone else life, he won't back off this time. He sighed in determination.

Shyam: ''What?'' His eyes popped out.

Jatin: ''You heard it right, kill him''. He made you suffer by sending you behind the bars for years and now its turn to make him suffer and the persons that are connected to him specially anjali and khushi. He pressed the last word and narrate him everything and shyam commanded in affirmation. How much he wanted to seek the revenge for the dismay and finally the day is arrived. He fumbled in exasperation.

Jatin: ''Arnav singh raizada, you are finished and as far as khushi, she will automatically died by getting your death news. Poor girl, favoring to be arnav's bride crushing sofiya heart... I don't have to do much hard work in breaking her''. The monster inside him relished each and every bit of that dominance.

Really? Anjali grinned excitedly and embraced both of them into her arms getting the happiest news of their alliance. She gave them blessings open hearten and went to open the shelf to bring something and both exchange look at each other confusingly. She asked him raising her eyelids and he gave her I don't know look. The moment retreat back with a wedding attire in her hand. Khushi's eyes lit up delightfully glancing at the beautiful lehenga.

Khushi: ''Di, its so beautiful?'' She smiled cheerfully while carrying with a piercing gaze.

Anjali: ''This is our mumma's last symbol ..she made specially for her always wished to see chotte's bride into this attire..'' Khushi feel touched by the sweet gesture. In the form of this gorgeous attire, she got her mother in law blessings. Arnav looked on emotional and excused himself by the phone beep. Khushi can noticed something bothering her but she shoving all her unwanted thoughts with uncertainty. In the meanwhile anjali narrate about her mother and arnav bonding. How much he is attached to her and her death create a deep blow in his heart that's the reason he always fear to come near anyone. Anjali mobile rang showing a text message. She began shivering and trying to control her tears. Khushi was clueless. She don't know what is bothering her and placed her hand on her shoulder to ask the reason of her misery. Tears were sparkling from her eyes but she didn't let it fall down from her eyes. Khushi opened her mouth to ask her when arnav entered the room.

Arnav(Walking in): What you guys planning against me? A authority tone echoed in their ears. Pulling khushi by her waist, he tickled her. ''Di you are making my ethereal bride against me.''She shoved his hand away gesturing toward anjali showing her pure annoyance. Khushi is now tensed.There is definitely something, di is hiding.

Anjali: ''Chotte, stop troubling my bhabhi.'' She tried to divert khushi's mind and scolded him pulling his ears.

Arnav: ''Ouchh...!!'' he rubbed his ears profusely.

Anjali: ''Chotte did you talk with pandit ji? Omg! I have to make lot of arrangement, only 2 hours left for my chotte's marriage''. She rushed off without giving ear to khushi. Khushi tried to stop her when he gripped her hand and locked it behind her waist.

Khushi: ''Arnav.. I am not in a mood for romance..let me go? She wanted to went behind anjali sensing she is surely in kind of trouble. ''Arnav.woh..main..di'' He shushed her placing his finger on her lips and pulled her in his tight embrace.

Arnav: Khushi, I love you..you are my lucky charm..i love you so so much''. He kissed her cheeks cheerfully. Khushi looked on confusingly by his anticipation.

Arnav: ''Do you know who call me currently?'' She shook her head innocently. ''I got the job in Mr Wilson company! A world's leading company. They like my design so much that he instantly assign me'' . Khushi tiptoes in his arms excitedly but her smile faded by his next word. I have to rushed right now to sign the contract..'' He got and began straightening his collar.

Khushi: ''What?? Are you nuts! Today is our marriage, how can you forgot?'' She shuddered.

Arnav: ''You are behaving as if I am going to leave you forever..'' He spoke casually without even realization how badly his words pricked her.

Khushi: Arnavvv!! She barked angrily. ''Don't you dare say that ever again..samjhe tum and you are not going anywhere that's final''. She argued adamantly.

Arnav: ''Khushi.. khushi.. khushi, why you overreacting baby! Within a hour I will be back..what I am going is only for you..for our upcoming future...Your father think I am not capable enough as I don't have power and property unlike him...I would prove him wrong and make him realize his mistake rejecting me for you''.

Khushi: ''Arnav, please try an understand! You don't want to prove anything as i know you are perfect for me, there is no question in that and that man never exist in my life. He is no one to me but you are my life arnav and very precious to me''. She cupped his face and tried to stop him but he is not in a way to listen her. ''Go anywhere tomorrow I won't stop you but not today..i don't know why I am feeling something not right.'' She spoke touching his cheeks.

Arnav: ''Khushi, nothing happen to me! I will reach in mandir on time try an understand this deal is very important for our future else i never go leaving you alone like this..i promise I will be back in an hour.'' He kissed her forehead before moving out from room but she locked the door from behind adamantly and hide the keys in her firm grip. His jaw dropped by her stubbornness.

Arnav: ''Khushi,give me back the keys''. She flatly denied facing toward headboard. He advanced toward her and hugged her from behind nuzzling her neck.

Khushi: ''Don't try to pamper me..i am not letting you go anywhere do what you want. She challenged pushing him away.

Arnav: Okay as you wish, i am not going anywhere, happy? She nodded in affirmation audibly but her heart sweet seeing his sad face. She inched closer reducing the distance between their bodies and raised his chin to look into her eyes.

Khushi: How long it will take to reach home? He smiled grinning by her agreement and lifted her slightly by her waist into his arms, rubbing his nose on the crook of her neck.

Arnav: ''Close your eyes and remember me I will be right there to serve my lady love.'' He lean down and kissed her neckline passionately to convey her she is only his and he will marry her soon so that no one dare to put his eye upon her. He made her sit in front of mirror and circled her wedding dupatta over her head. ''This attire only belong to you..i am dying to see you in this attire.'' She got up melting into his masculine arms. He went backward by her sudden pull and envelop his arms around her shoulder adorably.

Khushi: ''Arnav I am scared...don't know what happening to me but I am not feeling good regarding your going away on our wedding day''. Khushi snuggling him more closer to surpass all her anxiousness. He wanted to look her face and assure her he is not going to leave her but she pressed herself more to hide him from outside world and never allow him to go a inch away from herself as her mind is traumatized hinting something that is unknown to her. She is feeling like if he leave her today she will never able to get him again.

Arnav: ''Relax khushi! Don't worry main jaldi ayungi apni khushi ko apna banane.'' (I will come soon to make my khushi mine.) She hummed him in a weak voice. Caressing her arms, he unlocked the door grabbing the keys and stepped toward the main door without leaving khushi by her hold. Planting a soothing kiss on her forehead, he placed her hand on his heart that only beats for her. She placed a kiss on his heart and let him go from her hold tearfully. He turned to move when she hugged him from behind while the servants are engrossed in arrangement.

Khushi: ''Mat jao''.(Don't go) Her mind is screaming to stop him but still couldn't able to utter anything. He hurriedly claimed her lips ignoring the eyes which were looking at them. Her breathe hitched when her hand slipping from his fingers and he marched away from her piercing gaze.

Khushi and anjali waiting for arnav leaning in the edge of mandir pacing to and fro restlessly. Khushi lips dry, legs were trembling into unusual fear and nervousness clearly visible through her face glancing at her wrist watch. Nearly 2 hours were passed but there is no news of him.

She was trying his number numerous times and his unanswered frustrate her like anything. 'Where is he..let him come I will beat him like hell.'' She muttered angrily when her cell rang. She took a sigh of relieve when his number flashed and she immediately scolded him.

Khushi: ''Arnav where are you? We are waiting for you in mandir since so long, please come fast!!'' She shirked incoherently.

Arnav: ''Missing me?'' He teased making him tensed. ''I was on the meeting so keep it in silent mood..i am on the way to reach in mandir, nearly 10 minutes distance away from you.'' He spoke while driving his suv and continue talking to her and take the upturn when his car brake suddenly not working correctly. A sudden Silence from his end panicked her like hell. He is trying hard to apply break through his legs but seems break fails down and the car is moving in a rapid speed.

Khushi: ''What happen arnav..you okay? Hello ..hello?? Arnav...arnav!!!'' She eyes grew widen in perplexed hearing a loud and shear voice of something unpredictable.

Arnav: ''Khushi apna aur di ka khayal rakhna..i love you!!!'' (''Take care of di and yourself''.) She sank down on the floor clutching her mobile with her steel grip and began shimmering in fear. He was loosing the balance from gear and anyhow trying to control. In no time someone came from behind and throw a large rod like stone in his front window breaking the mirror and some of the pieces pricked his face. In order to save himself he lost all balance from steering glare. It happen so suddenly he didn't get time to see the person's face and car fell down from the distance heights. Khushi's get terrified hearing a disaster thud voice and she fainted down getting a deepest shocked of her life.
