Chapter 5

She cried hugging her knees. Soon she drifted to sleep. The next morning she woke up with a start.. she felt something cold under her... she realised she had slept on the floor itself. She woke up lazily to find herself in unusual surroundings.. soon she realization dawned upon her, she wasn't in the usual room of her hostel. She was in her house, in Delhi. Somehow she forced herself to get up and went to the washroom to freshen up.

She went down and saw her father and brother busy discussing the arrangements. Her mom was in kitchen. She quietly walked down to her mom and helped her.

SM- mujhe maaf karde sanyu. Iss baar mai teri koi madad nahi kar pa rahi hu. Tere papa ne mujhe bhi kuch nahi bataya tha. Yeh sab itna achanak hogaya ki mai kuch kar hi nahi payi.

S- nahi maa. Aap kyu maafi maang rahi ho. Shayad meri kismat mai yehi likha hoga (she gave a faint smile controlling her tears)

It was afternoon .

SD- shaam ko tum aur sanyukta shopping ke liye chale jaana. Uske liye kuch dhang ke kapde kharid lena aur sagai ki shopping bhi kar lena.

SM- jii theek hai

SD- aur ek baat ache se samjhlo. Sagai agle 10 dino mai hai. Tab tak sanyukta ko puri tarah se iss rishte ke liye tayar kardo. Aur ek baat ... aaj ke baad who agar ghar se bahar nikalengi toh kisi ke sath hi jayengi. Khabadar jo usne akele jaane ki koshish ki.. mujhe uske kisi bhi baat par bharosa nahi hai.

SM- ji theek hai mai iss baat ka dhyan rakhungi.

SD- aur suno , shaam ko who randhir aa raha hai, uski internship hai toh who jab tak puri hogi who yehi rahenga hamare ghar mai. Guest room saaf kara dena. Hamare sath hi office aayenga har roz.

SM- mai guest room saaf kara dungi.

Evening time.

Sanyu and her mom were out for shopping. She was still lost in her thoughts . she couldn't accept the fact that she wouldn't be able to fulfill her dream. She healf heartedly shopped for herself.

Randhir had reached delhi by then. He made his way to Agarwal Mansion. He had flashbacks of his meeting with sanyukta in the last vacation, how he had managed to reach her room through the pipe and how he had convinced sameer to accept the proposal. He pressed the bell and ankit welcomed him. Randhir met sanyu's dad and greeted him. They had small talk on his internship. Randhir's eyes were searching for her. He wanted to see her. It had been almost a week that he dint see her. Just then sanyu and her mom walked in.

Randhir's point of view

I was waiting to see her, to fight with her and there she was at the door. She was dressed up like a girl just way I had asked her to do while I was completing the factory model. She wore white anarkali with pink work over it. It was a simple dress yet it looked beautiful on her.

End of point of view

Sanyukta was shocked to see him in her house. She was wondering what -he was doing here. She was already facing so much over it randhir would either add up or spice up her troubles.

Ankit introduced randhir to his mom. Ankit said that he would be living with us until his internship gets over. That struck another blow to sanyukta. College wasn't enough that she will have to bear him in her house also. She couldn't even do anything now. Randhir and sanyukta exchanged cold looks. Sanyukta just took her bags and left for her room. Randhir watched her go and smirked.

Ankit offered to escort him to his room. The guest room was exactly opposite to sanyukta's room. Randhir thanked ankit and asked him about the preperations that were going on in the house. Ankit said that sanyukta was getting engaged in 10 days. The guy's family want them to be married soon. Saying so he left from there leaving randhir even more confused.

Randhir's point of view

Oh ! God!! That's the reason she left college like that, so finally she is getting engaged. But what's wrong with me. I should be happy, finally she is going away from FITE, from me. Why am I feeling bad.!! This is what I always wanted and finally it's happening but then...

End of point of view

He brushed aside his thoughts and started unpacking his stuff. He arranged everything in the cupboard, placed his favorite punching bag near the window and went down for dinner.

At night

Everybody had their dinner and were retiring to their rooms. Sanyukta hadn't come down for dinner. Randhir went down to have water. He crossed her room. He wanted to congratulate her, he wanted to see her once. She hadn't come for dinner too. As he moved closer and was about to know, he dropped the idea of seeing her. He moved further and he could see the door was slightly opened. He peeped inside and the sight in front of him shocked him.

A/N:- hello everyone i know this was a quite a boring update but it was necessary for the story to progress. And coming to the sandhir scenes. I am a huge sandhir fan and for sure I wont keep them away for long like the CV's do 😛 i need to put a foundation for the story so sandhir scenes would take a little time. keep showering your likes and comments. they definitely encourage me to write further.
