Part 16A:

As he entered the room, he turned back to see her holding the duster far off from her and turning away from the table and she was dusting as if she was caressing the table with a feather…..He chuckled….Taking a long cloth from the kitchen draw, he came back to her and asked her to turn around…….He slowly tied the cloth around her nose and mouth…..and then voiced, "hmm ab jaldi se karo…."

He added before disappearing into his room, "woh khatam karke aa jaana….yeh bathroom aur toilet bhi tumhe hi saaf karna hai!"

Sakshi rolled her eyes hearing that and muttered to herself stamping the floor, "aaarg……Sahi naam rakha tha Shree ne..khadoos ACP!…..aur yeh khadoos toh ghar ka saara kaam mujhse hi karwaane waala hai! Oh God please help me!"

She somehow started dusting the chairs and tables…….It looked like she was struck for eternity doing just that……She hated this cleaning, dusting….She would die but not do this!

"ewww", she thought to herself as she dusted away some cobwebs and lizard wastes off the tables!

"Yeh Arjun ka ghar hai ya chipkaliyon ka public toilet" She mocked as she tried to clean them away!

But she had no choice but clean them….else she knew that she would be showered with another SYS session…..

She was continuously ranting and cursing the work given to her as she dusted them away! She didn't even look to that side but held the duster to the far most end and wiped them away!

She was snapped out of her ranting and other wandering thoughts by his sudden sharp voice….."SAKSHI!"

She dropped the duster as his call came all of a sudden and broke the silence around her…

She turned around to see him glaring at her from the door……As she turned to him, he added, "din barr uss table ko hi saaf karthi rahogi kya?"

He had been observing her for quite some time and she hadn't moved from that one table in that much time…..then he decided to teach her this work his way!

So he called her and continued, "woh duster mujhe dho…aur jaao uss bathroom aur toilet clean karo…"

When she didn't relent, he spoke, "aise kya dekh rahe ho??…..I said go"

Sakshi hesitantly gave him the duster and replied with a sorry pleading face, "Arjun, toilet aur bathroom, main saaf karum?? plz uss kaam ko rehne dehte hai na?? I mean saaf hi hoga….kyun saaf jagah ko aur saaf karein, hai na?"

Arjun stared at her but then her facial expressions and her reply sounded so cute and funny that he laughed stunning Sakshi….She was floored by his mindless laugh!

Arjun replied in between his laugh, "kaam na karne ka kitne bahaane dhoondthe ho Miss wrong number…but ab koyi bahaana nahi…jaao….warna kaam ka list badhtha hi jaayega….aur sab kuch karwaake hi chodunga….samjhi ya…..samjhaavum?"

Sakshi shook her head unwillingly agreeing to it and took a full about turn to the direction of the room…

As she walked to the room, she kept smacking him under her breath, she was imitating him in a mocking way "samjhi ya samjhaavum? Samajhtha kya hai apne aap ko???….dictator, huh?….mujhse kaam aur woh bhi yeh…..chiii"

She reluctantly went to the bathroom and opened the door….it wasn't so bad but still she had never done such works all her life!

There was a plastic broom and a brush to clean it…..and a toilet cleaner lay on the shelf as well

She went in and opened the tap to fill the bucket to start the work…..

The very next moment, water that too dirty water fell on her……She didn't know that the lever to the shower was already turned on…..so water came from the shower instead of coming from the tap!

Since the water wasn't used for so long, it was dirty and there was mud in the pipes as well…….She shrieked as everything happened in a split second……

He rushed to the bathroom hearing her scream……..He realized what had made her shriek…..Her hair, her face and the jacket covering her was all muddy….

She saw him and complained, "dekho na Arjun…..kya hogaya!"

He didn't think anything but just went to her and helped her to remove the jacket first…It was all wet and sticky and she was struggling with it….

He removed it off her with great difficulty…..Now the muddy water had drained away and good cleaner water started showering down wiping all the mud away from her face and hair…..

She was so preoccupied in all that happened that she forgot what she was wearing and also that she stood before Arjun!

She rubbed her face and then waved her hair well to wash off the dirt!

She was enjoying this refreshing shower after the exhaustive drive and also because it was a welcome break from the odd work that he delegated to her……….The water was cold and she loved it…she totally missed that she wasn't alone there……..

She was cool and casual….unaware of anything around her……She didn't know what effect she was having on him! She didn't know that the temperature inside was rising up every second!

As the water started flowing down her face, and her body…..he felt a stir within him……..

He couldn't help but gaze at her form…..he wasn't in a position to think what was right or wrong……His logical mind knew that gazing at her like that wasn't right but he wasn't in his complete senses to think logically……

As the jacket fell off from her and her hot dress revealed out, he was mesmerized by her…….

The plunging neck line and the straps which almost threatened to fall off her wet shoulders only added to his inner turmoil!

The dripping water drenched her totally and accentuated her curves torturing his senses all the more!

Her wet face looked beautiful than ever…...well when did she not look beautiful?

She was always beautiful…it was just that he failed to see it but today when she stood so close to him and so many things happened all of a sudden, he was forced to notice it! He could have never ignored what he saw…

If he did ignore then he didn't belong to the earthly species!

He had already started liking her and her ways of life…He had also found her cute and sweet….but today, it was much more than that! He was totally enchanted by her beauty!

He felt like touching her wet face…he wanted to wipe off the water drops that fell and stuck onto her cute face….. He felt an urge to feel her against him!

His fingers didn't wait but just went to her face caressing her cheeks gently……She didn't seem to mind it or rather she didn't think much or was too preoccupied to notice him or his actions!

She thought that he was helping her to clean herself…….She gave a funny smile as she wiped her hands and neck…..

His fingers slowly moved to her lips and rubbed them gently…….her wet luscious lips weren't any less than cherries which he longed or desired to taste!

That's when she broke out from her dream like shower……What was he doing? What was he intending? She didn't know……..She looked at him intently through the raining water!

And she saw his eyes gazing her and it wasn't any less romantic….He looked as if in a trance…..very different from the Arjun she had seen so far…..She wondered what happened to him all of a sudden? Was he attracted to her?…..her thoughts stopped not able to think further!

She could have pushed him away but she didn't…She fell weak …she became vulnerable under his passionate touch…..She wasn't strong enough to push away the man she had loved from the time she knew what love was…The only man who had managed to gain entry into her heart…and swept her off her feet….He had given her the feeling of being in love!

And now his romantic gaze and his gentle intimate touch on her was giving her goosebumps….her stomach catapulted…her heart skipped beats……But she could hear the loud thuds of the ongoing beats!

No, she couldn't push him off or stop him but yes, his actions confused her endlessly!

Her voice had already ceased the moment he touched her lips in the passionate way….Her words were caught in her throat……and refused to come out!

Out of impulse, she stepped back from him but he kept getting closer to her….He was drenched in the shower too….She hit the wall behind her and couldn't move back further

She gathered up a little courage and voiced, "Arjun…."

His name hadn't left her lips completely when she felt his fingers on her lips again as if asking her not to stop him now!

He gently gathered her up in his arms and went into the room…..Placing her on the bed, he sat beside her …..His fingers found their way to her cheek again…..

He slowly bent down and kissed her forehead…..Her eyes weren't showing any signs of denial to him…..Her eyes remained fixed on his face…..Perhaps she wished the same…She blushed and turned her face to the side….He kissed her neck making her body tremble under him..

He slowly turned her face to him……and moved down, his lips lingering on her wet skin still to kiss her cheeks and then her lips……

He pecked her lips softly….She closed her eyes trying to relish the moment….the very first kiss was a memory for life….She waited for him all surrendered to complete it for her!

But, before he could deepen the kiss and drown fully into her, his eyes fell on the photo placed on the side table…..And he felt he heard something from her, "Arjun……itne jaldi tum mujhe bhool gaye na?"

"Roshni…" His lips muttered unknowingly against her lips the very next instant……

It wasn't loud but audible enough for Sakshi to hear……..She broke away from his lips!

She turned to the direction which he was looking at….And she saw Roshni's photo smiling at them!

He stood up instantly and turned away from Sakshi……Sakshi still lay numbed without knowing how to react to his unpredictable gestures…. She could see that he was feeling guilty for all that happened….and that realization felt horrible….it really pained! She was hurt beyond words could describe….

He just threw a towel on to the bed and voiced without even looking to her side, "Dry yourself Sakshi….aur jaldi se kapde bathlo warna zarddhi hogi!"

He walked out without waiting for her reply….he knew he had left her confused and shocked….He knew he had started all of it …..He didn't know why or how that happened….He was confused as well….he didn't know what got into him in those moments….He had no justifications to offer to Sakshi…..nor to Roshni….Did he betray both of them? may be….

He was rendered speechless because of his own guilty conscience…..it pricked him and he couldn't face her!

She didn't get up for a long time…she just sank into the bed as her tears trickled away!
