Part 14B:

Arjun went in search of the Xerox machine while Sakshi walked up to the guy at the counter and engaged him a chit chat which he was more than happy to do….He appeared totally floored by Sakshi's mesmerizing charm…..

Guy: [looking behind and around her] tumaare saat woh jo ladka tha...woh kahaan hai??

Sakshi: woh…usse rest room jaana tha….abi aa jaayega….tab tak maine socha aap se kuch dher baatein kar loom…..Am I disturbing you? I mean agar aap busy hai toh...[she didn't complete the words as he cut her short]

Guy: [trying to impress her] Of course not….tumse baat karne ke alaava kuch bhi important nahi hai….

She smiles and wonders what to talk to this already flirting and drooling guy….She hated such people who looked for opportunities to flirt with any girl they see but then in her life, she had seen so many of them and had to entertain them as well to get things done such as this! Especially while on the run and her hide and seek like life!!

The guy's smile doesn't seem to cease as he tries to offer her a seat next to him but she politely declines, "nahi nahi….main yahi teek hoom…"

He insists so that he will get to be closer to her but she realizes his intentions and refuses outright……

He gives up unwillingly since she wasn't relenting….He asks her about which department she was studying and few more questions...Sakshi keeps giving some random replies to have him glued to the conversation!

Then suddenly holding his hand out to her, he introduces himself, "Oh main toh bathaana hi bhool gaya...I am Jithin….Jithin Manohar!"

Sakshi not expecting that but then composes her surprise, holds his hand and replies, "Kalyani.."

Guy: [shaking her hand and not letting it go] main jaantha hoom….sweet name! ek baar sunnte hi dil mein reh jaatha hai! [dreamily gazing at her] Beautiful….tumaare hi ki tarah!

Sakshi gives a false smile and nods acknowledging the compliment…."thanks Mr Jithin!"

Jithin snaps her and corrects, "Call me Jithin or Jithu….pyar se sab aise hi bulaathe hai!"

She gives another fake smile and nods…..She tries her best to pull her hand off his but he was clinging on to it as if he never noticed or realized her efforts to free herself from him...He seemed to be enjoying holding her hands to the fullest...

She was slowly flaring up and mentally scolded him "lagtha hai aaj se pehle kisi ladki ko dekha nahi hai!"

But she replied to him slowly, "ohh Jithu...accha naam hai!"

She wished Arjun came back soon...

At that same instant, Arjun landed up after taking the copies and also securing the originals back in the locker...He had walked in noticing all this drama and also hearing the last bit of their conversation...

He voiced out as if ignorant to all that was going on, "chalen Kallu"

He grabbed her hand and pulled her and then as if realizing that the other hand was in that guy's hand mutters, "ohh..." and then stops moving!

The guy shows his displeasure of having Arjun back again disturbing them...

He smirks and enquires, "Kallu??"

Arjun doesn't give away so easily...he replies putting his arm around her shoulders, "haan main apni kalyani ko pyar se aise hi bulaatha hoom!"

She looks to his side in shock while he continues, "usske haat chodo...humein dher ho rahi hai...[looking at her shocked face and smiles adding] right kallu?"

She nods still in shock...Jithin frees her hand reluctantly...

Sakshi is relieved and mentally thanks Arjun for coming in right on time...

She waves her hand to bid bye to Jithin while he voices, "tumaare number dho...main call karunga!"

Sakshi is about to reply when Arjun pitches in and replies for her, "usske paas koyi number nahi hai...chaaho toh mera number le lo...jab bhi free ho, call karo...aur hum baat karenge...Samjhe ya samjhaavum?"

Sakshi couldn't help a chuckle hearing Arjun and also seeing that guy's expressions for Arjun's reply... She never knew that Arjun could act and say such things as well!

May be gradually, his real self was surfacing out from his facade of an ever serious stern cop! It didn't require rocket science to understand that Miss Wrong number's naughty side had its effects on him as well!

Arjun's reply and his almost burning glare was enough to make that guy back off from her!

Jithin posed as if he had some important work to do and went back to gazing his computer screen while Arjun and Sakshi walked out of the place!

ETF office:

A gun shot was heard instantly and Nikhil's painful scream...and the same man who had ordered to kill him voiced again, "bolo jai maata ki.."

There was a hush sound as if they were exiting the place...and then everything went blank!

By then Aisha and Chotu also join the discussion...

Aisha voices hearing those last words on the microchip, "sir, yahi toh uss aadhmi ne bhi kaha tha..."

Sameer: yes Aisha...lagtha hai yeh sab kisi big shot ke chamche hai...I mean gunde hai! Shaayad kisi political party ke!

Chotu: haan sir...political leader jaisa koyi hi hoga inn sab ke peeche...isiliye itne aasaani se bacch nikal raha hai!

Sameer turns to Chotu, "Chotu, apne sources ke through patha lagaane ki khoshish karo! Aur woh maraa hua aadhmi ke bhi kundli dhoond nikhaalo..."

Choto nods...

Turning to Shree, Sameer adds "Shree, uss ke phone se jo bhi information miltha hai sab kuch nikhaalo..."

Shree nods, "yes sir!"

Sameer: Aisha, Liza se forensic reports lekhe mere cabin mein aa jaao...

Aisha: ok sir!

Sameer walks away to his cabin while Shree mocks Aisha, "situation jaisa bhi ho, aap dono ke baatein khatam hi nahi hote..."

Aisha rolls her eyes at him, "shut up Shree" while he adds "waise unnke ghar mein grahapravesh kaisa tha?"

Aisha smacks him hard for that but before she could reply, Sameer turns back from his cabin entrance and calls her "Aisha...zara idhar aana"

Shree grins and replies, "lo sir ka bulaava aa gaya...jaao jaao...ab tumaare bina ek pal bhi gawaara nahi...kyun ki tum hi ho...tum hi ho..."

Shree starts humming the song when Aisha hushes him up "shhh" and leaves the place...

Shree and Chotu get down to work while Aisha rushes to Rathod's cabin!

Arjun finds a place from where he could fax the papers near the college itself...and quickly faxes them to Rathod's personal direct number...

Then they resume their drive...Arjun was taking her to his home which was outside the city limits! For now, he felt that she would be safe there as none could dig that place out so easily!

She was unusually silent and he glances to her side but she doesn't notice his glance...She seemed preoccupied in her own thoughts!

He slowly voices, "yeh sab dramae karne ki zaroorat nahi thi..."

Sakshi looks to his side clearly understanding what he meant and replies, "aur koyi choice nahi thi mere paas...warna woh bhadak jaatha aur...[stops explaining and just adds] you know it better Arjun!"

Arjun knew it but didn't respond to her because he himself didn't know why he got agitated seeing all of that...neither did he know why he showed off to the other guy that he and Sakshi were very close to each other!

Sakshi added after a pause, "ek akele ladki especially mere jaisi ladki ko yeh sab sehna padtha hai...kuch cheezen unsuna undekha karna padtha hai warna jeena mushkil ho jaatha hai! And afterall, this one was only a harmless guy!"

Arjun wished to tell her and comfort her that she wasnt alone now and so didn't have to endure all this but he didn't voice it out but just replied, "woh tumaare saat flirt karne ki khoshish kar raha tha!"

Sakshi instantly replied, "sirf flirt hi toh kar raha tha...[remembers something but instantly snaps out and adds] khair...lets forget it!

But from her words, Arjun could read something more than what she actually voiced out...Perhaps, he had sensed that she had gone through things worser than this!

A brief silence sets in which he breaks soon and enquires, "ab tak ek baat mujhe confuse kar rahi hai Sakshi..."

She looked at him enquiringly while he continued, "Why didn't you come to me earlier?"

She was taken aback by his sudden question and didn't know what to reply!

She chose to be silent but her silence was communicating more than what she intended to him!

He didn't press for a reply but just let her be...
