Chapter 16

"Call me if you need anything," he said smiling at her standing at the main door. She just smiled nodding as she felt him coming a step closer, but she did not move anticipating his next move. She felt a strange excitement rush inside her to know what he was up to, and the next moment she knew. She got the asnwer as his lips brushed gently on her forehead for a second. "Take care," he said earning a sheepish smile from her before leaving to work.

It was not the first time she had seen her parents close, but this time it felt different...maybe because she is married now and has a husband. Were they supposed to be that close?
